Section II Sorletta Ritta

"This is my house."

Enough walking on the cobblestone path while getting Goltmund to pull the carriage. He arrived at the Calvafon Old Bookstore, a shop along tree-lined street, which is also Main Street.

"Heh, it's really a bookstore"

"What, did you suspect?"

"No, no, that's not what I'm saying, but the bookstore, you see, because Atashi and the others don't have much of an edge. Unusual."

"Don't be with you. I read books sometimes."

"It's a picture book, right? You know, books like this are kind of populated with letters? Can you read it to Toslin?"

"... bah, don't be silly... Even I said I could read it if I wanted to... maybe."

You two are my pace anytime, anywhere. I wish I could keep watching the exchange, but unfortunately this is in a city with cold winds. I can't help it if I don't get warm soon.

"And for now, it's cold outside, so let's go inside"

"Can I keep the carriage here?"

"Ah, yes. This is our delivery space, so if you can keep the reins on the tree..."

The Sorletta tree, which is also the source of the city's name. White leaves grow in spring, red flowers in summer, yellow fruit in autumn and simultaneously dead leaves in winter. It is a rare deciduous tree in the region, also known as the White Leaf Tree, so much so that some travellers visit it just to see this tree-lined path.

"I wonder if you're okay, Mockingbird. Isn't it cold?"

Sarah, who got off the carriage one foot away, is about to worry as she strokes Gortmund's back. It seems Sarah liked Goltmund at a glance because he looks adorable. But my sister doesn't know. That the kid is so fierce that he won't even send a goblin.

"Goltmund is born in colder places than here, so it's okay."

"That's right! Then don't worry!!"

"Then it's time to interrupt the Iris' home."

Me sitting on your stand for directions. When I got out of there, Saluena took my hand. It looked like a knight who would serve a princess, and Sarah was pokey when she saw it.

"Ugh, yeah... you know, Saluena. Let me tell you something... normally, normally? Because there's absolutely no such thing as a hug like always or a kiss on the back of your hand. Fathers, I'm surprised."

"... Phew."

It was a meaningful smile to say that in a whisper so that Sarah wouldn't hear me, but for some reason I came back.

Why are you laughing now? I'm so worried, don't!? Never!? "

"Well, well, what are we standing here talking about? Why don't we go inside and rest?"

"That's my line!! Hey, really stop!? I'll cry if you don't ask me!!"

Saluena won't let go of my hand, so it will inevitably take the form of being escorted. Why can't you just go into your own house and get your hands on me...

"Oh, you know, your sister told the swordsman..."

"Pfft, don't worry about it. Because it's the usual."

Behind you can hear Mr. Rosé's fun voice.

That, again, stirred my anxiety.

Opening the door widens a slightly dusty store filled with the smell of an old book. There was another door behind it, and when I opened it, there was my mother.

"I'm home, Mother"

Your mother put on an apron and it looked like she was just getting ready for dinner. When I looked back, the redhead hair tied to one gently tapped my shoulder.

"Irie's... Welcome back, Irie's!!"

I guess he's going to use it for dinner. He took off the vegetables and hugged them to me. Around almost the same as my sister Sarah, it makes me realize that she's a parent and child.

"Holy shit! Alas!! The Iries are back!!"

When your mother yelled at the back room of the living room, after hearing some loud noise, your father came running.

"Oh... Welcome home, Iris"

A quiet father compared to his mother. I always flush my hair back beautifully, but now it's a little messy and on my face. Besides, if you look closely, your glasses are off and you're not wearing one shoe.

"Huh, Dad, what happened to your shoes?"

"Ha... I think I just snapped into the chair and took it off in that clap."

Fix misaligned glasses and make hair look good. But because I'm not wearing one of my shoes, it doesn't get huge. I'm usually a cool dad.

"Anyway, you're home well. Are those the adventurers you wrote in your letter?"

"Yeah, I am. The people I took great care of."

"Well, then you should leave your stuff for now. Adventurers are invited to use their rooms. I'll be able to have dinner soon, so can I ask for an introduction then?"

"Yeah, okay. So, guys, can you come over here?"

I hissed that Saluena would suddenly say something weird, but she was quiet behind me with the Toslins. But I can't seem to be at all alarmed by the fact that you're turning your deep gaze towards me.

"You're such a wonderful parent."

"Uh heh, thanks. My proud parents."

Even as I smiled at Toslin's words, my consciousness continued to turn to Saluena behind me all the time.
