Senpensekai no Madoushoshi

Section II Drop-off

The night of the Micaña raid. I took to the Solletta Ritta Warrior Alliance. Push open the thick wooden door with all your strength.

"Wow, wow..."

Stepping into the Warrior Guild of the Night, it seemed somewhat of a place where it felt like an adult world. A few men were drinking in a room lit by dim lights.

"Hey, here comes something small?"

The Warrior Guild is big enough to get into five fingers inside this city building. Unlike the church, the wooden area is like a little liquor store just after entering, making it a welcoming space for adventurers who have finished their work.

As much as I learned the other day that there was a counter behind it and that it was a mechanism to order your work from the receptionist there, six months ago I lived out of touch with this place.

What can I do for you, miss?

"Oh, uh... oh, right..."

Though accompanied by the Toslins, I have experienced once what a place it is and what people it is. So I set my mind right and stepped in. But I was still scared. Because a man bigger than your father has a sword or something? If such a person looks at me like I am now, I will blow away the words I have prepared.

"Come on, I'm freaking out, this guy. Hey, come here. We'll listen to you."

A man stood up as he rattled a knife he lowered to his waist. He carries a big axe on his back. If they wave that thing down, I'm going to be two in one shot.

"Hey, don't stand there like that. You're coming over here fast. The wind will get in and it'll be cold."

"Oh, excuse me!"

Chip, I don't know what else to do.

When I atrophied and apologized, the man carrying the axe sighed deeply. He came this way and reached out to me.

"Well, first of all, write down the requirements that came here to this guy."

"Uh... yes?"

"Yes? No. Can you write? If you can't write, can I write for you?"

"Or you can write, you can write!!"

What the man offered me was parchment and a brush. Run to an empty table nearby, where you write your name and requirements.

"Hey, it's tea. Drink."

"Yes. Ah... thank you"

Now another man came, and a cup of hot air was placed with a gotten. Oh, hey, me... they think I'm a customer? No, more than that, these people don't look good on their strong faces, which is rude... are they pretty good people? You bothered to serve me tea or something.

"Are you rubbing anything?"

He couldn't get inside because I was standing in front of the door, and Saluena can only grasp partial exchanges. She came into the guild about the rest, came next to me and said so.

"Ah, Saluena. No, I'm not..."

"Hmm? What now... a swordsman? Look. That's your face. You two know each other?"

That's what the man who saw the sword Saluena lowered to her waist and served me tea heard better.

"Ah, yes. Yes, I'm here today to see an adventurer I know..."

"Whoa, what is it? If so, tell me quickly. I thought you had a visitor."

"Oh, I'm sorry...... I even got some tea..."

"Ah? I don't care. If you're in a corner like that, you'll catch a cold. Come in the middle. In the middle."

A large firewood stove is placed ahead of the man who invites you as he walks. There was a pot on top of the stove, standing in the hot air with Shunshun.

"I knew I wasn't a customer from the start. You're Iris from Senior Frammel, right?"

"Yes. Yes, my name is Iris Calvafon."

He lowers his head with a pepper and tilts his little nipple in his heart. But what senior? So this guy is your father's... junior?... is it? But when it comes to the contacts between the people here and your father, I can't imagine a bit. I wonder if I know you from kindergarten or something.

"Whoa, senior daughter? You've grown."

"What are you talking about? I thought you said something about looking at this girl earlier."

The laughter echoes within the guild. Some of them are eating bread and meat with alcohol because they are just at dinner.

"Um, you guys are from the Warrior Guild, right? If you don't mind..."

"No, you're not?"

I didn't expect to be denied, so my eyes dot.

"Huh? But... here, you're a warrior guild, right? You all have axes and stuff..."

"We're woody. This is a warrior's guild and a woodworking guild, half at a time."

"Oh, right. I had no idea."

"Well, it's not like there's gonna be women and children."

"So? You've been coming to see an adventurer I know. Is that about your beautiful lady?"

"Oh, no, I'm having a party with Elves and Warwolves and some more clerics..."

"Oh, well, I was led back a long time ago. You didn't come out."

"You're getting a job description by now."

"Hey, is that a tangle? I heard something at night at the ruins."

"I'm sorry, but I need you to tell me more about it"

Saluena, who was listening quietly, suddenly pinched her mouth on their story.

"Mm-hmm. That's good. I heard it again, so I don't know that much about it."

A man carrying an axe says that when a hunter he knew went into the woods late at night to capture his prey, he heard some sounds from the ruins. The hunter approached the sounder, but he didn't end up with anything there.

"Hmm, nothing more than what Alonda told me."

"What, lady, do you know Master Alonda? No, wait, wait, wait. To call it off means to be noble or something..."

"No, I'm a knight. Now he's dead, and he's acting with Iris."

My eyes changed when I saw the men's saluena. Until just now, I only thought of you as just a swordsman's daughter, and you gave me an unbreakable look, but when I heard of the knight, I started to look uncomfortable.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

"I don't mind. Thanks for the info."

"Ha ha"

Solletta Ritta has soldiers, but the knights rarely do. The impudence of the attitude of the men as if to prove it. The heavy air that I don't know what the hell to do with it hisses. I don't know who I was having dinner with, or if I can keep eating, and I'm stiff with a fork. I'm so sorry.

"Iris, Saluena. Sorry. Did I make you wait?"

There was a bright voice for God's help and all.

"Ugh, I just got here."

The Lord of that voice, needless to say, is Toslin. He comes here with all the armor he's just finished repairing, softening his long golden hair.

"Wow, it's shiny. Glad you fixed it, armor."

"I said I'm going to have to polish it because it's going to look like a rush..."

But you can't work halfway against the gear of an orange ranked adventurer, and they rejected you. I learned in the blacksmith's description that Toslin's armor has magic that can attenuate the magic to some extent, and that it seems necessary to keep the tattoos engraved on the surface of the armor clear to maximize its effect. That's the armor you inherited from your ancestors, isn't it?

"Rosé, too, the new armor is very nice."

"Pfft, thank you. I'm glad you said that to Mr. Iris."

Mr. Rose's armor and shield were also seen by a blacksmith, but both the shield and the breast plate were judged to be lifespan. Sometimes he was exposed to dragon attacks, but it seems to be the truth that he couldn't live up to the load he had when meeting with Saluena. Looks like the leather armor was all right, but he decided to use this as an opportunity to refresh all his gear.

"Um, keep your pity, your bravery is growing more. There was still no madness in my eyes."

"Yes, Sally, thanks to your sister's advice"

By the way, Mr. Rosé is now wearing a leather armor-substituted chainmail under his robe and changing it from a breast plate to a plate that can also protect his stomach and back. They say that the plate mails are church supplies, with a ticcarodecca crest engraved on the chest.

He lowers his usual togette gemeis on his hips and carries a large shield in the form of a kite called a kite shield on his back. You think this is because you couldn't protect your feet with a circular shield when you rode Gortmund and fought?

"Sounds more like a knight than Toslin."

And the only thing in this that hasn't changed gear is Carol.

"You have no choice. My weapon is for both hands."

"If you're Toslin, you can use that sword with one hand..."

"Yes, yes, stop. It's annoying to do the usual here. And you're going today, right?"

What I have come here to do is to keep up with their work, their adventures... not... I came to see them off.

"Oh, I did. Carol, I can't take the time right now. Oh, blush blush."

"What is every time!! Demand withdrawal!!"

The usual twisted fit that ended up starting. I saw it and my chest just got a little bitter.

"Um, Mr. Rose..."

I don't follow Mr. Rosé and the others. I discussed it with everyone at lunch yesterday and that's the last decision I made.

This is the city I was born and raised in, and my family and people I know are here. As soon as we talk about Mr. Rosé and the others, that will be communicated to a lot of people. To people I know, to church people, and to my family.

"Yes."

You can't worry about everyone. The thought made me make that decision.

"Take care"

"Yep."

Mr. Rosé smiled all the time and stroked my head.

"So long, Sister Sally"

"Uhm. Come on."

Saluena sent out Mr. Rosé with few words. Both Toslin and Carol went out into a city with cold winds as they tapped each other lightly.

"... then go back"

It was me standing quietly in the guild with the three of them gone for a while, but after I thanked the woodcutters for the tea, I'm going outside.

Saluena nodded briefly, 'Ah,' then said nothing else and followed me.
