Section Eight Return Home

"Oh, this is where the Lord was born."

"Even so, it's just a rural area with a big field and just a few woods,"

Toslin so humbly returns to Ritzereich's words, but outrageously.

The vast fields we had seen so far were swayed by the wind by wheat rice hoes full of sight waiting to be harvested before an authentic fall visit. I guess the cobblestone path that runs making sure to sew that gap is well cared for, I didn't see a chip as one.

This is just amazing, but what surprised me most personally is the territorial capital - Iriburg Roti - surrounded by natural walls floating in a sea of golden rice ho.

It's La Folia, where the plains go on, but it's like it's just bulging up there, and lots of white-walled houses are built to look through the slopes.

(Hilariously, Viscount Illiburg's territory is very rich? By that, the young lady over there, you mean the incredibly rich man who probably doesn't have to be Toslin?

According to Toslin, this neighborhood appears to have become one of the main battlefields of the Battle of Illua a thousand years ago, and Valeria Nyamnyam, also known as the Wizard's Original Fathers, built a hill here using the "Wave Tao's (Anshel von) Sword (Titi)" to welcome the armies of Auschnell. And it seems that Iriburg Castle, also Toslin's home, renovated the fort at the time. Unexpectedly, I encountered the name of the hero of the battle, and I learned to be touched in another way.

(I see. Toslin said that the elf-like I know diverges from the entity, but this is so true)

"Heh, the image of the elf in me is now completely broken."

"Wow. Were you still there? I broke down the first time I saw this guy. I thought you were living in a hole like an oak, so there's a gap between you and your image..."

"It would still be nice in front of me. Be careful if you say that in front of other elves, they'll kill you the worst. Elves are so important to honor and all that."

"Nooo, it's Toslin. I don't think there's any point in saying that before I stun him."

"I thought so too, but you're already a habit, so you're gonna follow me with reflexes."

Laplice is also a Laplice who says things that can be stunned like every day, but I also thought it would be approximate for Toslin to take a snack and stun it with such a light feeling. Of course I don't put it in my mouth just because I think.

"Around there are orcs and..."

"Yes, and good night Mippo"

Ahem.

But these days, Mippo destroys himself by trying to follow Laplice.

Toslin played me a pin in the forehead, tried to cover me over Laplice and Mippo collapsed (though I'm not fainting like Laplice is being manipulated). The face was amused by the trouble, and whenever I saw it, it bothered my mind how I reported it to Mr. Linesflare.

A day and a half have passed since we broke up with your sisters, and we are about to plug into the gates, which are the entrance to the territorial capital.

It looked like just a small high hill from afar, but if you approach it this way, this high and low difference is no longer a cliff. On my head looking up at the gate, the word natural imperatives came to mind.

"Not as big as the Great Wall of Auschnell, but as a regional territory, it's not the size of a breakthrough..."

"Yeah, right...... It's bigger than the gates of Sorletta..."

Sorletta Ritta, my home town, had a famous gate that had long protected the city, but this is twice as good. Yeah, when it did, it's in its past form because the unavoidable circumstances kicked the unicorn in and broke it. What happened after that, speaking of which, that gate? Maybe I'll ask Mr. Rhinesflare next time.

"Then I'll be in the city from now on... Saluena, keep an eye on Laplice and Mippo. Because it's not obvious if you get caught by both of them."

"Oh, okay. Let's keep an eye on him."

"... what is this string?

"... a prisoner"

On Saluena's lap are Laplice and Mippo, who have just woken up, staring stunned at the strings tied to her own hips, and the other with a pleasant look. One of those strings is held by Saluena, which means the string is a harness that prohibits runoff.

"When you get into the city, are you going straight to the Viscount's Castle?

"Hmm, that's what happens at this time before sundown. Because I think it's probably quicker to wait for him to come back than to look for your father around the city."

"Hey, I was wondering. You're gonna let me into the city properly in the first place? You haven't been home in years, have you? They think he's dead, don't they? You can't prove who you are, so how do you get into the city?"

Although Toslin left the country for training, he said it was due to end in about a year. I don't know exactly how many years have passed now, but I haven't heard from him in the meantime, and that concern of Laplice is the best one.

……

"Hey? Wait. Why are you shutting up there? I don't know what kind of hand you're trying to get in from the front like this."

"No, I didn't think about it."

"Huh? Whoa, whoa! It doesn't make sense to come back if they pay you in front of the door here. No, it's still better. It's not gonna help him on the day he gets busted in a barn, is it? What are you doing? Whoa!

"Oh shut up!! Now that I'm thinking about it, just be quiet for a minute. Yo!

Though Toslin tries to physically silence him, Laplice sent it away. Neither does the servant, apparently, want to be stunned many times a day.

"Uhm. You can't turn back at a distance. Turn back now and it will look too suspicious. That won't lead to the worst of Laplice."

"I don't think I need to rush. Anyway, you only have to meet the Viscount to prove yourself. Parents wouldn't forget their daughter's face, would they? Unless you're so unfaithful..."

Toslin's story suggests that your relationship with your father is normal. He didn't skip contact for any reason either.

Well, that's anyway.

"... Hey, Saluena? Just in case, how are you going to meet that Viscount?

"If you go to the castle, will you come back? Isn't that what Toslin said?"

"Well, to that castle... how?

Saluena shrugs her shoulders when I repeat the question. And he just laughed and stroked my head.

"... what, I'm not gonna kill you"

"Yes, I can't! Yes dame!! Definitely dismissed! If I do that, Toslin will never be able to go home again!! It's funny, but you can't do it!?

"... if the princess commands it, I can't help it. Let's think of other hands then."

"... right. If that's what Iris says, stop it."

Hmm? Oh, wait a minute? Why do you look like you can't help it to Toslin? You're positively the haz on this side, aren't you?

"That's good if you can hit it for now, and if you can't, does that mean you'll do everything you can to escape? If it's the latter, you just have to figure out how to break in again."

"Right. You can go talk to Toslin's father directly."

That's Parenthood.

Toslin is genuinely surprised by the rare suggestion of a troublesome Laplice.

"Are you sure?

And so he said to her, and this is how Laplice returned it.

"Well, it's actually not me that's going, it's Mippo the kid"

……

Mippo looks at Laplice silently and flips a stone slab with Kurli.

That's Parenthood.

"Uh, okay?

"Is that good?

"Is that all right?"

Toslin surprises, Ritzereich worries, Saluena laughs. Apparently Mippo has a Mippo value standard, and we haven't reached a level where we can understand it yet, but she's likely to be able to break into the city without anyone noticing.

We finally arrived at the castle gate when we had our calculations in place for now.

But in conclusion, I didn't have to run away. And there was no need for Mippo to adventure again.

"Well done. Back."

Because the gate opens without even having to name it...

"My darling, my daughter."

Viscount Iriburg, Toslin's father, because that person welcomed him.
