Ling Yilin saw this and a hint of doubt flashed in her eyes.
She turned to look at Su Yunling, then at Ling Zhiyu, with a questioning look in her eyes.
Ling Zhiyu also had doubts in her eyes, but it was Su Yunling who was pondering over the earlier conversation between Gu Zhiqi and Ling Yilin.
A few seconds later, under the puzzled gazes of Ling Zhiyu and Ling Yilin, Gu Zhiqi came to her senses and whispered, "I see."
Ling Yilin, Ling Yilin: ?
What did she suddenly realize?
"Master Gu, why the sudden sigh?" Ling Yilin looked at Gu Zhiqi eagerly, eyes full of curiosity.
Gu Zhiqi raised her eyes, glanced at him, and then lazily said, "You wouldn’t believe me if I told you, so I won’t say it."
Ling Yilin: "..."
If you don’t say it, how do you know I won’t believe it?
After asking Ling Yilin and Ling Zhiyu questions, Su Yunling let the two leave.
Before leaving, Gu Zhiqi said to Ling Zhiyu, "After returning to the Master’s Sect, please help me arrange a meeting with Ling Muyan. If she agrees, ask her to come to Shadow Pavilion, if not, just let me know."
Ling Zhiyu was slightly taken aback, then nodded to Gu Zhiqi.
Then, she left with Gu Zhiqi.
As she left, she was visibly unhappy.
Ling Yilin saw her looking unhappy and asked, "Little junior sister, why are you so unhappy?"
Ling Zhiyu spoke with a hint of sorrow: "I’ve known Master Gu for so long, she never asked me to eat, she only met Muyan once, doesn’t even have the contact details, and now she invites her for a meal."

Upon seeing Gu Zhiqi and Su Yunling, Lin Ruoxue was startled, why was it them?

Gu Zhiqi and Su Yunling nodded at her, and then began questioning her.

Ten minutes later, the hypnosis ended, and Lin Ruoxue wandered out of the Law Enforcement Hall feeling dazed, convinced that upon leaving, she seemed to be missing a segment of her memory but couldn’t recall it no matter how hard she tried.
Not long after Lin Ruoxue left, Gu Zhiqi received a message from Ling Zhiyu, Ling Muyan agreed to the meeting.
Moreover, they arranged it to be in an hour.
Conveniently, an hour later would be lunchtime.
So, Su Yunling and Gu Zhiqi got in the car and headed to the Shadow Pavilion.
On the way, Gu Zhiqi instructed Su Yunling, "Later, I’ll go meet Ling Muyan alone. When we’re done talking, I’ll message you, and then you can come to the private room where Ling Muyan and I will be."
