Adventurer Alliance

Darion is a city near the king's capital.

They are famous for their vibrancy and scale in recent years.

Compared to the city in the Walt family territory, which is my parents' home, I felt fresh of the cluttered vibrancy not found in the tidy streets.

"Two days from Wang Du through the lodging town... I knew it would be nice to have roads in place. We're moving fast."

Nowem was looking at the sign that was nearby as he stretched out his back in Darion where I arrived and looked around.

"You have a simple map. It also says the name of the store."

Though I find it convenient, I also see the sign with Nowem. Inside it was written the location of the building marked Adventurer Guild.

From the map placement...

"Dear Ryer, isn't that the building you see over there?

The building, also visible from the entrance to Darion, was higher than the surrounding two- to three-story building.

Around, it would be the biggest building.

Darion's Adventurer Alliance seems to be making a lot of money.

"Home...... no, you're bigger than a branch in the Walt family territory"

Look at me I reworded, and I did what Nowem said just a little bit. That's why I'm forced to smile.

"Well, we also have time. Sign up for Adventurer Alliance"

"Yes, Master Lyell"

Me holding a Nowem travel bag that turns a smile and walks in front of me.

(Even so, both Zell and Nowem said... the money will be gone soon)

My wallet is much lighter.

Naturally, I bought a lot before coming to Darion. The most expensive would be the sword. I bought a servel, but the price was higher even if there was not much demand or a few hits.

(I also really need to think about saving. But your ancestors basically have different values...)

Values differ in generations, but it feels the same about money.

Is it because you've become wealthy every generation you spend, or your grandfather, the seventh, sixth and fifth generations, is basically rich thinking? Apparently.

First generation, etc., the man's weapon said axe or blunt weapon, complaining that it was useless such as a sabel.

"You can hit me with a tree or stone falling around there, right? If you don't, you can bare hands, right?

- It's just a bearer of wild thoughts.

Walking towards a prominent building, adventurous people are walking in the same direction around them.

The fits varied, but some of them only looked like a bunch of rogues.

He lowers his knife to his waist and walks to intimidate the passers-by around him.

Adventurers walk in possession of weapons from time to time. When they say it's managed by a guild, but that's why the number of crimes is low, it's not.

In any case, many of the adventurers are rogues or mercenaries.

Inside, criminals are just not wanted, either, and may be confused. The guild seems to be careful too, but it doesn't look like it's working.

In essence, it would be better if 30% to 40% were decent adventurers. Most of the others are adventurers in one effort.

(Well... that's the knowledge I asked your ancestors)

It's not my own knowledge.

I only understood the adventurer vaguely. However, knowing what's in it makes me look stupid the way I admired it.

The reality is that not even 10% of all adventurers as children admire them.

"You're here, Master Lyell."

"Is that it? Why is the first floor of the guild doing the market?

The first floor of the building, labeled as an Adventurer's Guild on a large sign, is like a warehouse, supported by pillars.

Merchants were in and out of the carriage and adventurers.

So, adventurers, merchants, and ordinary people are shopping.

"Dear Lyell, that is a place to buy and sell. They use the ground floor to buy and sell monster materials brought to them by adventurers."

"Huh? Really? Aren't you supposed to give what you got to the guild?

With that said, Nowem looks in trouble.

"I'm not familiar with it either, but when you go outside and deal with demons and bring them back, its... very dirty, isn't it? It's also hard to go indoors like that. Look, there's money and water next door, right? If you really need help accepting your guild, you can get rid of the dirt there."

Sure, if you think about it, it's odd to hand over demonic material to the counter. It stinks of blood, and it gets terribly dirty on it.

At reception, etc., they would fill out paperwork, etc., and it would be normal to have separate locations.

"Well, you are. Ahaha, ahahaha"

I decided to work hard, but I showed off that I didn't know the world as soon as possible. How many times has it been?

(Me, can we do this right now?

With anxiety, Nowem and I are headed upstairs to the Guild reception. He went up the stairs and followed the signs to the reception.

The second floor of the Adventurer's Guild is receptionist but has a large counter.

And several officials were opponents of adventurers making rows.

"That's a lot."

"Right. I've never registered, so I'm anxious."

With that said, I heard a second generation, not the first, from the treasure balls.

'That grandfather is so rotten, I'll teach him instead. I mean, you don't have to worry about registering your guild or anything. The other side would be able to deal with those newcomers.'

(Good thing it was the second generation from the beginning)

I touch the treasure balls on the ground floor to signal that I understand. And as I listened to the second generation of voices, I was thinking about which rows to line up in.

The difference is clear in the row if you look at it.

Young, and new American adventurers? Those adventurers were lined up on a counter with beautiful staff.

A nice smiling woman is smiling and dealing with the adventurers.

Others, an aunt felt used to judging the rows lined up by hasty adventurers.

There are many women in the staff. There are few male employees.

I tried to step out to get in line with my aunt. But I've waited here since the second generation, but it takes.

"Lyell, shall we line up in that least-numbered row"

(Huh? When I say the least...)

Looking at the end of the row I was instructed by the second generation, there was a male employee with red hair with brown skin and rough muscles as his head.

It looks like it, and it's pretty scary.

When I'm confused, the second generation says.

"I'm fine. You're the most decent of them all."

(The appearance is not decent)

I'm taking off my suit jacket, but I could see there was a steely muscle underneath my shirt. Wouldn't pissing me off make my fists fly?

Makes you think so.

"Ha, ha, ha! I won't keep you waiting, Nowem!

(Why are you pushing Nowem from the first generation to the fourth generation? No, I know you're the daughter of the house I took care of...)

Reluctantly, I'll be in the line of officials I was told. Then Nowem made a voice that looked unexpected.

"Did they pick an official over there? I thought Ryer would choose a fast worker."

"Yeah, I was,"

If it was true, it would have been better, etc. But Nowem is relieved.

"I was going to recommend that official, too, so it was just fine"

"Oh, really?

Nowem apparently had the same opinion as the second generation.

"Yes, I was polite at work, and if you want to register like us, you should be polite"

With that said, the second generation seems convinced.

'Nice. Exactly. You should choose a friendly and polite official, even on the strong side, over a beauty who just smiles and has a lot of work to do, rather than an official who is quick at work and doesn't know you're not used to it, right? I mean, there's no such thing as that beauty.'

I don't have a second generation, so I see a line of beauties.

"Eh, I'm having trouble eating or something."

"Fine. Let's go to dinner together after work."

But...

I'm smiling and responding, but when I'm the next person...

"Yes, this will be the reward"

"Oh, um..."

"Next please"

My attitude toward adventurers with good faces and good gear was distinctly different from my attitude toward adventurers with good gear but normal faces.

Besides, normally your adventurers are in trouble.

"Wait! The amount of the reward is different! Client rating……"

"I don't care what you say."

With a troubled face, an adventurer lined up behind him comes out of his mouth.

"Hey! I'm in a hurry too. Don't rattle me for a small amount of money!

I looked at the sole and decided to stay out of line with him.

'You don't have that one, do you? I mean, he's a good face, but he's an official who should be removed from the reception. That attitude makes me feel like I'm not doing my job back there.'

The second-generation evaluation was rigorous.

The beautiful staff at the reception is apparently popular with newcomers and adventurers for napa purposes. But the first time I worked was terrible.

(I'm glad you didn't choose)

If that's what you think, Nowem calls me.

"Dear Ryer, next."

"Oops."

And then my turn came around.

The opponent is more powerful when viewed nearby than when viewed from afar. Sometimes I felt big, but there was an atmosphere.

He's like a warrior.

"This man may have been an adventurer. If you're retiring as an adventurer and you're an official in the guild, you must be pretty good and behaving. Lyell, from now on, don't do reception at this guy's place."

While the second generation decided on its own, I asked an official to register an adventurer.

"Please register as an adventurer. Um, there's two of us."

When you say that, do they understand or prepare a form?

"Registration? Nice to meet you, my name is [Hawkins]. If you don't understand, don't hesitate to ask. And if it's you two, why don't we finally sign up for a party?"

Party registration? Nowem reacted faster than the second generation when he snapped his neck thinking, etc.

"Regards"

Mr. Hawkins had a rather polite tone, contrary to his appearance. And we're going through the process.

"After the adventurer registration, the guild that will be the home will be this Darion branch. When you change your base of activity, you should file a transfer notification with your guild. Then, the destination will need to be notified of the transfer, where it will be processed to act as a home. Otherwise, if you sell demonic materials to your Alliance, you won't be able to receive requests."

Write your name on the form, and Mr. Hawkins will confirm if the document is defective. Me and Nowem are used to filling out these paperwork.

Because they taught me at my parents' house, and most importantly, there were numerous papers to sign.

"Fine. So, can you put some blood on these two boards? Please use this needle. Oh, it's okay because it's properly disinfected. Come on, you lady too."

"Yes."

"Thank you"

I stabbed a needle in my fingertip and it hurt so tightly. When blood makes puckles and small balls, blood is added to the silver plate.

"Fine. Please wipe off the blood before using this one as it will be medicine. Okay, I'll carve your name on these two pieces. You keep one in your guild."

The silver board is an ID card issued by the Adventurer Alliance.

Common name is Alliance Card.

If the owner dies, the engraved name will disappear on a strange board. Others write previous records, and the guild can load that information whenever they want.

I heard that explanation, and the second generation...

'... after all these years, it would be convenient. You didn't have these tools when I was here, did you? Or is it a pricey substitute?

The second generation was right.

"This one, for the first time, will cost five sheets in silver coins. But if you can't pay, a little bit from future rewards… deduct 10% to 20% of the reward and use it for payment. May I?

Then Nowem gave out the gold coin.

"No, I'll pay"

"Okay. Now we will have guild cards, please sit on the couch and wait"

Mr. Hawkins took his guild card as he headed to the door behind the counter. After a while, I come back and I go back to work at the reception.

Me and Nowem headed to the couch, and as we sat next to each other, we gathered our surrounding gaze.

I can turn my tongue and jealous gaze. The reason is obvious.

Because Nowem, who sits next to her, is beautiful.

"You were as polite and gentle as I thought, Master Lyell"

"Oh, yeah."

Nowem doesn't look like he cared. Then there was the voice of the first generation that had ever been silent.

"These bonkers! Don't turn your nasty gaze on Nowem, Gora!! '

And it goes on for the second generation.

"If you do anything to Nowem, Lyell will bump you out!

Finally, it came out to the fourth generation.

'Well, basically you can't let us get our hands on you directly... but I'm sorry to say it, both of you? Or don't get too violent.' Cause Lyell's going down. '

The fourth generation deceives the two while giving out a hard-working aura. Higher emotions and a voice to me only consume my magic power.

(I'm tired even though I didn't do anything... it's like I'm poor)

I didn't think I had less magic. However, from the ancestors, it seems to be considerably less.

"Now this will be your two guild cards. You two have already signed up for a party, so they have their names inscribed on each other's guild cards."

My name was engraved heavily on the guild card handed to Mr. Hawkins. And it's also small and engraved with Nowem's name.

"Now, this will be a booklet that will fill out the guild's terms. No more courses today, but tomorrow morning there will also be a course for New American adventurers in the conference room on the third floor, so take a peek if you have time."

Mr. Hawkins tells us we should take it.

"Thanks for the polite explanation"

When Nowem says thank you, Mr. Hawkins looks at us and thinks a little.

"Something?

When asked what was wrong with me, Mr. Hawkins laughed bitterly.

"No, new American adventurers that don't surprise me very much are rare, so I guess. And this is my personal opinion - if you both can afford money, why don't you hire a mentor?

"Are you a mentor?

When Nowem listens back, Ms. Hawkins explains.

"Yep. A few months - usually three months - of the good adventurers the Alliance guarantees. You hire adventurers as mentors for that period. There are many ways to contract, but there are ways to pay from compensation or to pay in advance in bulk."

Apparently, the difference in payment methods involves the quality of adventurers you can hire.

In the way you pay from your rewards, a good, underneath adventurer becomes your mentor. But if you're going to pay in bulk, mid-level adventurers - upper class adventurers inside, they're going to be the mentors.

Instead, you need to pay ten gold coins in bulk.

(No, you don't have that amount)

I thought so, and when I tried to ask Nowem if he would hire a mentor for the pay split...

"Okay, bulk please"

"... Huh? Bulk?

Nowem paid ten pieces of gold from his wallet. Mr. Hawkins, who received the sole, looks rather hasty.

I guess I thought I'd say it myself and choose the split one.

"Hey Nowem!?"

When I try to stop him, Nowem explains it with a serious look.

"Dear Lyell, the Adventurer Alliance can coach you to a capable adventurer. You should take care of this opportunity. Especially since we don't really understand adventurers."

I think Nowem's opinion is the best, but I was surprised that Nowem paid ten gold coins more than that.

It's a great difference from me being kicked out of my parents' house without a sentence, and owed money to a servant.

Mr. Hawkins will check again.

"So, you want me to pay you in bulk?

"Yes, please. Excellent instructor, please."

"Of course it is. If you're in trouble, I'll pay you back the money you gave me."

Confident Mr. Hawkins, but only in a situation where you haven't said anything as far as I'm concerned, but the story goes.

Then...

"Something... from the edge, you don't look like a man, do you, Lyle?"

The second generation of words was quite heavy on my mind.
