Clara Bloomer

"... Really? That was tough."

In one of the library rooms, I was with Clara.

Whether it's an unpopular room or not, few people visit.

Sometimes the book you're putting away is for kids, but the kids themselves don't come to the library very often, so I guess it's not popular.

Aramsarth is just said to be an academic city, with lots of books for sale. Picture books and such are easily accessible categories.

I came to this room and I talked to Clara when I finished reading dozens of picture books.

The contents are that I live in a mansion I know, and that I've had a lot of trouble fighting with one of my people.

One of the reasons I came to a room with a picture book was because Clara was there. At the same time, I was concerned about a picture book that I had never read.

Some pictorial books bothered me, some stories I knew.

Reach for a pile of picture books on your desk.

I kept the conversation going as I read.

"That's right. Aria's guy laughed a lot first, but it's like I'm in a bad mood... and the collaboration's worse than before."

As I read the book with stupidity, Clara answers as she reads the book in the same way.

"As far as listening, aren't they aware of you? I have no experience in romance, but I know there are similar examples in those books"

"Books and reality aren't the same?

"Some are based on facts, and above all, as far as asking, they don't seem to hate you? If you really don't like it, you don't have an overtly unpleasant attitude. You're going to be treated like you're not there, or you're going to be treated like you're physiologically impossible. You wrote that in your book."

I feel I rely too much on my book knowledge for a long time, but I can't say anything about people either, so I decided to convince myself.

"Before you came to Aramsarth, I guess? I can't get a sense of distance from it. I've been treating you like this before, but I get angry as soon as it's recent."

Put down the finished book and take the next one.

"... wasn't it also a trigger? Have you acted to distract them?

"Especially not..."

If I can't remember, I hear a sighing voice coming from the treasure balls.

The fourth generation has a word.

The moon is shining.

I remember being told. With that said, Aria was a little crazy then.

"... the moon is shining. That's what I said. There was a beautiful moon. When I saw it and squealed, Aria looked strange."

Then Clara looked at me with her sleepy eyes.

I realized I had been gazed at, and I looked at Clara, too.

"What?"

Clara turned her gaze only once at the picture book I was calling for, and she saw my face again.

"... you're biased in the book you're reading. Have you ever read a love book?

I try to remember when you say it, but I don't remember reading it.

I think what I was reading when I was at the Mansion was an adventure novel for kids.

It was a book where adventurers would rise or heroes would face mighty enemies. They all end up happy with princesses and lovers.

Love is not the main thing.

"I don't know. No, he's a man, and that kind of thing is hard to handle."

This is the third generation that has agreed to my words.

"Ah, I know what it is. You're here, with someone who says it's strange for a man to read or something. I personally ignored it because I wanted to read all kinds of books. Yeah, Lyell had that awareness too... but there are a lot of people reading it unexpectedly '

Is that a lot......

What, I'm wondering if even a man can read it, says Clara.

"One of the romantic novels that has been around for a long time is the analogy of the moon to a woman. It was rude of you to say the end of that story... Say the title, so read it."

"Huh? I'd be curious if they said that much... would an old book make it a little hard to read?

"No. Some things have been rewritten in a modern way, so it's easy to read. Or if it's a girl, that's a pretty good title to read."

When I hear that, I remember what the fourth generation used to say. I used to say, "Fuck this guy. Ah! 'I thought it was about this, screaming,' etc.

That means that the fourth generation also read romantic novels?

I imagine a fourth generation who wears glasses and wears gold for May, and who is a compiler of the ancestors, reading a romantic novel.

(... doesn't look a little good or funny)

However, given the attitude towards women, it didn't seem strange to be familiar with such matters.

"... me, you confessed"

Whimpering, Clara turns her gaze back on the book.

"You did"

"You did..."

Me and Clara reading the book as it is.

Inside, I was desperate to figure out how to treat Aria from now on, and the contents of the book didn't come to mind.

Seventh generation says.

"What a conversation we're having in the picture book corner, Lyell..."

Leaving the library, I decided to take a peek at the famous school in the academic city.

The school, arguably the centre of the city, also brings together many young people from the margins.

To acquire knowledge, to acquire technology, for research….

Unlike other cities, the focus will be on learning. Normally, territorial management shouldn't be good, but lots of students flow money from the margins.

The research results generated enormous profits, and the academic city was made up.

Most importantly, the cost of research seems to be enormous.

I'm not a student at school, but I was a little surprised to see the building.

In a city that feels cluttered, only schools are built as if style is important.

A young man and woman in uniform were also seen colluding and reading books.

"Is this the school... it's not what I thought"

I imagined a narrower place because I just wanted to learn. Because I thought I was pursuing functions only because of the atmosphere in the city.

Similar opinions are heard from the treasure balls.

The second generation...

'You're better than the mansion I lived in, dude!

Third generation too.

'I listened to you and expected the scale, but you're more than I imagined. In other words, I feel that I attach great importance to school. This is the only place with a different vibe.'

Fourth generation opinions differ from others.

'How much did it cost you to make it? I don't think so. "

The fifth generation.

'Education does matter. I mean, academic cities can spend so much money because that's the main thing...... what does Vice Territory look like right now?

The sixth generation reminds me of my time.

"It's bigger than it was in the fifth generation, but the stuff so far has been on boulders..."

The seventh generation is the last...

'It doesn't make sense to hang out with academic cities. It was common for people to aspire here if they were willing to learn to do so.'

My ancestors also seemed to attach great importance to education.

But academic cities vary in degree.

That said, I don't know much about Vice territory.

I know the scale from the numbers I saw in the paperwork, etc.

But even though it was my birthplace, I knew too little about Vice territory.

Some of them were under house arrest at the Mansion, but they flew out as soon as they kicked them out, and now I think I've done something a little unwell.

(You wanted to show the first generation what Vice Territory it is now)

I just got a chance to know what my ancestors have made me feel bigger.

That seems like a very valuable experience.

That's how I look at Bonyari and the school, and someone I know shows up through the gate.

The women in the same uniform were walking around Mr. Miranda.

"It's not Lyell. Hey, what's up?

Then the two women I was walking with look at me and say.

"Do you know Miranda? Maybe a boyfriend?"

"Nice."

Mr. Miranda rushes to deny it.

"No, because I'm the one who lives with you in the mansion, and I know a friend!

Then when I heard the part about living with him, my friends started making noise.

Mr. Miranda thinks it's tough, too, and I speak up.

"I was going to take a look at the school today. Tourism in academic cities?"

With that said, Mr. Miranda was feeling a little tired.

I guess I'm tired of convincing my friends.

"Really? I don't know about it as a place to sightsee... but there are a lot of people who do come to see it."

After all, I guess schools are rare for visitors to academic cities.

(On this scale, and as far as I'm concerned, I'm glad you came to see it.)

Mr. Miranda will ask about my plans.

"That's right. Lyell's free after this?

"... you're free. Basically, it's a holiday."

After I do my job, I plan to make sure I rest. If someone starts to suddenly “grow," you have to take care of your gear for body fatigue.

The scariest part is when you grow up and tense.

In that case, I tend to be unable to do so.

(Well, I don't grow up that often)

Foolishly in my heart, Mr. Miranda has looked up at me.

"Well, can I ask you a favor?

"Please? Well, to the extent that a landlord's favor can be fulfilled,"

Landlord, I emphasized the neighborhood to make sure that Miranda's friends nearby made no mistake.

"Really? Good! Actually, I'd like to go to the guild, but that's not scary over there. So I was wondering if you could come with me."

"To the guild, is it? Do you need anything?"

If the average person goes to the guild, they mostly make requests. To some extent, I go to Shi to buy demonic materials.

"I'm asking, these kids are buying materials. I also have an Adventurer Registration at first. Because school students often make requests with knowledge and technology."

If it's an academic city, does it feel like it?

"Then you can also be an guild?

"That's cold. Not as often as the Lyells do. Some kids just want money, or if they're going to be collecting materials for an assignment. You may register as an Adventurer when you enroll in school, or you may simply cancel your enrollment in the Alliance if you are unrelated."

I guess that means each person.

Sure, with all the girls, the guild vibe may be anxious.

(But you're better off here for yourself and your manners)

Just an academic city? Few adventurers had bad patterns.

Not at all.

"Okay. I'll follow you."

"Yes, thank you."

Miranda hugs me in the arm and thanks me.

When two of my friends saw it and wanted me to do something about it, I guided the three of them to the guild.

Upon arrival at the guild, Mr. Miranda, who performs the procedure to make the request, was to run errands first.

Looks like the two friends who came to buy demonic material are going to leave their luggage to me afterwards.

I thought it was a bit of a failure, but I'm willing to take it on because I think it would be bad to turn it down and disrupt Mr. Miranda's friendship.

(Well, should I think it's for rent)

Heading upstairs to the guild for the procedure, there was Clara.

"Isn't that Clara? Don't see him often. Now it's the adventurer's job?

When I say that and speak up, Clara sees me better.

"Yeah, I heard an interesting request would be made... apparently, Mr. Lyell, someone involved"

They say I'm involved, and I'll behead.

If you don't understand, Mr. Miranda is headed to the reception.

The adventurers around them were watching.

Sure, she's an eye-catching beauty, Miranda, but it wasn't just men who turned their gaze, it was women, too.

Listen to the whispers of the adventurers around you.

"What kind of request is this?

"At the request of Qijie, the reward would be good..."

"It's best not to get involved. We need to be careful."

"Recently, I've heard it's troublesome to come to the guild on your own and represent students, but it's true."

"No matter how much the reward is, it's just a request that doesn't fit."

The surrounding gaze, words, and the combined results of them - apparently, Mr. Miranda has come to apply to the Alliance for a request from [Damian Bale], one of the Seven Chiefs.

The receptionist's staff is also as dilapidated as their usual calm is a lie.

The second generation.

"Is it going to be a rumor before you make a request? I wonder what kind of bastard that pervert is. '

(You don't really want to think about it, or someone you don't want to get involved with is someone Miranda knows. Right, that's why you were so familiar)

It was from Mr. Miranda that I heard the rumors about Damian.

He's a professor at the school, and Miranda is a student, so it's not strange to have contacts.

Clara finally understood what it meant to say about the people involved.

And an interesting request would mean Damian Bale's request.

Clara has spoken to me.

"Qijie's request affects both good and bad and other requests. Adventurers take requests away or even obstruct them because a lot of money moves. This is how I came to make sure I didn't get involved in requests that might have an impact."

"Do you even interfere?

"You mean obstruction, that's a lot. … For example, if you are asked to carry valuables, you will also know the adventurers you have received because they are famous. If there are bad people, it has been in the past to target them and take away their goods. For better or worse, it's famous."

Sometimes it seemed that an adventurer who made a request that he was craving a large amount of demonic material and had that demonic material unknowingly was attacked.

It is an annoying story.

Make it Clara, who is an adventurer by herself, and I guess this is part of the intelligence gathering.

Doing so, an official walks up to stick out a requisition on the bulletin board.

(I wonder if things are annoying for the Alliance as well)

Seeing the face of a disgusting official, I was thinking about that.

Clara explains to me that I'm not familiar with Aramsarth.

"Schools are more powerful here than guilds, so guilds can't say no even if they know it's going to happen. It's the adventurers who struggle, so this is how we gather information to avoid the crisis."

I thought I had my own world, but apparently it's pretty strong to live.

(Well, otherwise I can't do it alone, can I?)

When the adventurers flocked to the request I checked with Miranda, who approached me.

Clara, too, is on my side because you thought it would be quicker to listen to Mr. Miranda than to look at the requisition.

"Sounds like a very popular request."

Ironically, Mr. Miranda laughed bitterly.

"He's going to make a serious request. But I knew the content was just the content, right? Better yet, you know I'm going to ask for a professor on my behalf."

Clara says to Miranda, who makes her wonder.

"Some of us are adventurers while we're students, so I guess that's where the information leaked from. We'll make the school apply for a budget to make a request, won't we? In the meantime, it spread to adventurers."

"Mr. Clara? You're surprisingly close."

When Mr. Miranda looks at me and nibbles, I cough up and ask what I asked for.

Here's what it's all about.

- A labyrinth managed by an academic city, hoping for material for a boss in the underground forty tiers -

- The period is one month -

- The reward is a thousand pieces of gold, or the corresponding item -

- Permission to challenge the labyrinth is only permitted if this request is received -

"... a thousand gold coins is amazing."

I was not surprised to hear of a thousand gold coins before.

But now I live as an adventurer and my values for gold are changing slightly.

"Seven Jays on a boulder, right? It's a good school, and it's a good budget."

Mr. Miranda is also frightened.

Clara just had a slightly subtle look.

The fourth generation tells me.

'Don't be fooled, Lyell. I didn't say I'd pay a thousand gold coins for this. I say a thousand pieces of gold “or” corresponding items. Look at the other adventurers' faces. '

Confirming as I was told, they all looked subtle.

"Aren't you going to pay a thousand gold coins for this request? Besides, the corresponding product is not well written. You're full of suspicions. '

I'll check with Clara.

"When I say the boss on the 40th floor of the basement, what's it like?

"… the bottom layer was confirmed five years ago. I hear it was fifty floors underground at that stage. In the labyrinth of Aramsarth, where bosses are positioned every tenth floor, it is mainly near the twentieth basement where adventurers often deal with demons. The further underground you go, the wider the structure of the labyrinth."

"In other words?"

"I think it's a very demanding request. Many Aramsarth adventurers are brilliant but efficient. Because few try places as deep as other guilds."

Some adventurers went to the bottom five years ago, didn't they?

I thought so, but I can imagine a lot if it was five years ago from now.

(Retired or changed the home......)

Seemed to be what I imagined. Clara explains my doubts.

"The party that discovered the bottom tier is breaking up. You're supposed to be opening a private school in this city by now."

Listen to that, Mr. Miranda makes a troubled face.

"Well, that's hard to achieve, huh? Then the professor would get frustrated for a while..."

Is it a student-like problem? Well, even if it's none of my business, I had something to worry about right now.

"Is the adventurer who reached the bottom level opening a private school... do you know where?

"Oh, Lyell is cold!

Mr. Miranda is involved with me, so I checked with Clara while avoiding it.

Clara is taking notes out and writing them down when she nods.

The sixth generation speaks out of the treasure ball.

"That's all a good adventurer opens a private school, or... it's a good thing you're interested, Lyell"

Looks like they complimented me.

I got the note, and I'm gonna get Clara some advice.

"And Qijie's request, but maybe if you just take it,"

"What if I just take it?

"Yes, you will be given permission to challenge the labyrinth, so the adventurers, who could not challenge before, will just take the request and go in. I'm sure the labyrinth will be noisy."

That's what Clara said and left the guild.
