Betrayal

- The Redant Fortress.

Its first wall was dominated, and in front of the fortress were the armies of Bansaim in formation. Bansaim's armies lined up in narrow places, but the armies were lined up to vacate the place where the artillery was installed.

The commander of the fortress, Baim, was eating up his teeth when he saw how it was going.

"... why"

All the traps placed were disarmed, and no damage could be done to Bansaim. Neither have the rocks for the falling rocks placed on the cliffs been moved and damaged before the armies of Bansaim passed by.

"Why are we losing!

In a limited number of places, I can't use the tactic of pushing over. So Bansaim was supposed to be at a disadvantage. In fact, it was common sense in this world that the defensive side was more advantageous than the offensive side.

But those in the fortress had already done the damage of losing half a dozen before the army of the pushing Bansaim. Injured in addition to casualties. Even if I had extra supplies, I hadn't even been able to stop them satisfactorily.

The quality of the equipment is not inferior to that of Bansaim either. Rather, it was better than Bansaim. When the first wall was breached, a unit of rescue was also sent out of the fortress. But he had been defeated by the Knights of Bansaim.

The numbers were high. Baim was excellent in equipment and quality. Yet we lost. The Deputy Commander spoke to the Commander.

"Commander, as it is, morale is decreasing. Move the injured to the rear and send someone out to request reinforcements."

"I already did that! The merchants are reluctant to do this!

The commander, wearing luxurious weapons, was formerly a three boy merchant. My body was big. But when he couldn't help the house without business talent, he went for independence. Then he emerged with the support of his parents and was now appointed commander of the Redanto.

A commander who said he could move more than 50,000 people, and was leaping his chest. But the reality was heartless.

A message jumped into the conference room inside the fortress.

"Bansaim's army has broken into the fortress! The two armies are clashing on the wall, but one after the other the Bansaim soldiers climb up and can't deal with it! We need backup! We need backup!

In a limited number of places, they're sending soldiers out to each other for melee. But the Bansaim soldiers seem to knock down and push the soldiers who were inside the fortress as they were.

"Let the adventurers deal with it!

The decree groaned with regret at the words.

"That's... many adventurers have already been taken over. And the adventurers who were assassinated inside the fortress, who lost their leaders and couldn't move."

At the same time as the attack began, members of the mercenary regiment lurked inside moved. He was carrying things to assassinate the adventurers who were the Lord and to favor the Bansheim side.

"Oh, an assassination... why. How could the enemy have dived in!

Subsequently, a worn out decree jumped into the room. It was bloody and breathing constantly.

"What! What's the matter!

The decree was about to speak up. But I can only hear a small voice if I can't speak. When the frustrated commander approached him inadvertently, the man who was the preaching laughed niggardly. Embracing the commander, he stabbed a sword in the gap in his armor.

"Thank you, I didn't expect the commander to be close."

Shortly afterwards, the people in the room, one after the other, wore Baymax's gear.

"Shit, the commander's neck belongs to this guy? Well, put up with it elsewhere."

Even though the conference room inside the fortress is huge, it's indoors. The mercenaries boarded Baym's command with daggers and shields. And the weapons the soldiers at the command had were long as long as a sword.

"You betrayed me!

The mercenaries heard the words and suddenly laughed when they shut up for a moment.

"Betray? No. The other guy had better terms. And I just went over there because I thought my opponent would win. We were on the other side from the start. Thanks to you guys for the sweetness. So... die for our reward"

The face of the upper management fighting with the mercenaries in the conference room. The soldiers, who are escorts, are surrounded and taken over by mercenaries. Mercenaries also have casualties, but they were slaughtered without a problem.

A deputy commander was stabbed to the floor with a dagger by three mercenaries. The deputy commander, bleeding and with a blue expression, looked up to the mercenaries' summarisers in front of him.

"You guys know what you're doing? Baym... the Alliance will never forgive you."

The mercenaries laughed at the words. When the deputy commander looks around, one of the mercenaries gives in and peeks into the deputy commander's face.

"That's scary. But hey... what you guys call a guild is a Baym guild, right? Do you really think you won't get your hands on the guild? Bansaim is seriously here to crush Baim?

The deputy commander opened his eyes.

"No way, you guys got Baim... you know what I mean! If Baim is gone, it means you're the ones in trouble!

The mercenaries' summariser kicked the deputy commander over.

"I'm staring at May from the top. We're not merchants or guild dogs. I just cooperated when I was doing well as a business partner. If you can't make money staying in Baym, you're gonna have to go where you can make money, right?... what, he's already dead"

Losing interest in the deputy commander, who stopped speaking, the mercenary told the Bansaim side to contact him.

"Hey, tell Banseim the Admiral has taken over. This is gonna cost us a hell of a lot of money."

Laughing mercenaries. Ironically, the fortress of the capital of merchants and adventurers was dropped by the adventurers - mercenaries.

- When the blower moved toward the fortress, it was all over.

Inside the fortress there were traces of blood everywhere. I guess that's all we fought so hard, but it's something that ended unilaterally nevertheless. Looking only at the results, it was a complete victory for Bansaim. With no noticeable damage, and all that, the army of Bansaim, which has secured large quantities of supplies on Baim's side, can now march to the city of Baim without worry.

Upon entering the cleaned up conference room, Blower apologized to the generals who had already arrived.

"No, I'm late. I'm sorry."

One of the generals missed the attitude of the light atmosphere blower. I guess I feel good because I won.

"General Blower was on the first wall. You won't be able to help if you're late. Well, it's a continuation of the meeting."

The general, the general, opened his mouth.

"We invade Baim like this. And. There is also the request of the Lords. We decided to raise supplies locally."

To the words, Blore thought.

(Does man's greed not run out? I knew this would happen)

Lords over the Baron family participating were each pleased with the term local procurement.

"Even though there are supplies inside the fortress, there are 300,000 large armies. I still don't mind dropping Baym."

If there was a Viscount to say something white, the Earl, who was silently arming himself, also spoke in favour.

"The soldiers are waiting. You make me put up with you here, and you're no match for being run wild."

The baron, still young, quickly made his name known.

"Then we will proceed north from here."

Then there was a voice of dissatisfaction from the other lords.

"The North is developing. Isn't it? On the size of the Baron family, it will be payback. We'll take charge."

"Rude. You saw Baim's weak soldier, didn't you? As a lord, I'm ashamed to lose."

Laughter dominated the conference room. In that, Blower has a face that won't float alone. The Lords are laughing, but what's about to happen was a loot that's not a very funny story. In some cases, there come forth those who burn down the villages and slay them all.

The reason the lords are getting serious is because they know that each village is wealthy without a lord in Baim. There is no cohesive resistance, and relying adventurers are busy defending urban areas. Not very much, but I didn't think I'd lose.

In fact, from what Blower has examined, it is an excellent hunting ground.

(It's true it's not funny. But I'm not stopping where I said it. Besides, the center is really going to annihilate Baim. If you say bad things, will this one be punished)

I don't think the world is turning around just because of the beauty of it either. But it was also true that I was still unconvinced.

And the general opened his mouth when he saw Blower.

"Sometimes, General Blower. It worked beautifully in the battle earlier. Let me report to those in Central that the General's accomplishments were significant. I'm counting on Baymax."

Blower smiled.

"No, until I did what I could. The other generals are better than me."

It was when I tried to be modest and make a statement appreciating my surroundings. The meeting room door was opened. There, Bread stood.

The despised gaze of the surrounding generals, knighthood chiefs, and lords concentrates on Bread. The General shook his head down and shook his head to the side exaggerating to show it.

"Totally, pathetic. I didn't know you had just pushed off the opposite of your surroundings and moved arbitrarily, or you wouldn't even make it to the battlefield. It's very different from General Blower."

Blower thought in his heart.

(Please stop. Lord Bred is staring at you. Now you will surely be the enemy of your eyes)

Blower on the boulder, too, had difficulty following Bred, who said he was going to detour and jump out and didn't make it to the battlefield. Speaking of what I can say.

"General, I can't imagine anyone being able to attack a fortress on a boulder in this short period of time. The other generals' arrangements in the fortress attack were brilliant. I was wondering if I could just blame Lord Bread for the boulders. Instead, isn't everyone in this room responsible for dropping it too fast?

When Blore said so, the generals and knighthood chiefs around him, as well as the lords, laughed out.

"Sure. If I only knew it was weak, I would have left SS and elite troops behind."

"We've crossed a steep mountain path. Was it pathetic to be cold? I guess that's pretty damaging, too, huh?

"Right. It wasn't that we didn't make it, we were too strong. I can't help blaming the SS Chief."

To the laughter around him, Bred was staring at the blower more and more. Blower wanted me to feel a little thankful because I missed the conversation. And the general tells Bread to sit down. The vacant seat was the one furthest away from the General's seat.

"Well, then let's get it moving as planned. And disperse the soldiers, but hold the reins tight. You're no match for a runaway. Remember to assemble at the rendezvous point by the time we march across the border."

When the General rises, the meeting is over and the Lords and Generals rise and leave the conference room. All while watching Bread.

"It's something I used to come to meetings with."

"I'd be ashamed to death."

"Master Ceres' favorite. That's the SS chief. Isn't it harsh to expect strength?

Blower leaves the conference room at the end, passing next to Bread.

"... General Bonkla just born. Don't be complacent about one feat."

Shortly afterwards, standing up, Bred pushed the blower away and left the room first. Blower exhales.

"I don't care how they resent me. Totally, why are you in such a troublesome position"

Blower shrugged his shoulders and left the conference room at the end.

There was one associate baron who wanted to know what was going on in such a conference room...

- Bread was kicking his luggage in a private room given inside the fortress.

"Always this one too! It's not my fault! We're late because the conductors and mercenaries are reluctant! Without it, we 'll-- No, I'll do it!

The furniture that was placed in the room was shattered. Bread has no sign of sinking his anger. It's just rampant until it fits.

There was a knock in Bred's room like that.

"Who!

The door opened, and it was two of the associate barons who were in front of the room. From Bred's point of view, he's not enough to take it. The soldiers I'm bringing with me are also about a hundred to two hundred. Not a lot of opponents, I didn't even say hello.

"What can I do for you? I'm busy!

A pair of associate barons. One was an associate baron who promised Adele his cooperation.

"... there is something I would like to hear from the SS Captain. I was worried about who it was best to tell."

What was offered was a letter. I checked the contents of the receipt so that Bred could take it away. Bread, who proceeded to read, gradually held up both ends of his mouth with two hands.

No one has read the unsealed letter yet. Two associate barons who showed it to Bred.

"This... is an inside letter"

What was written there was a request for cooperation from a person named Adele, one of Lyell's lines. It used to be an edge, and a letter asking you to cooperate as promised.

Bread sees the two associate barons.

"From the contents of the letter, it looks like you two are already intimate?

One of the Associate Barons - it was better to push Adele into the impossible, explained the situation.

"You betrayed 300,000 Bansaim troops and put them on Lyell's side, which is only a small force? It's not that stupid with us."

He also says an associate baron who has been dating Adele's parents for a long time.

"We have already sprinkled similar letters in the houses of several knight jazz families. Well, we had a profit here when we cooperated. However, if we think about the future, we don't have to think about which side. However, we have cooperated before. Therefore, I would like to ask the SS Captain to take care of Central."

I fell back on myself from the Lyells. That's what I thought, Bred, listening to the two of you.

"Fine. I'll take it from me and put it up. And you're going to cooperate in the future, right?

The two associate barons nodded.

"Of course it is. Just..."

"Just?"

As the Associate Baron stood by what he was going to say, the two began to talk about the plans of the Lyells.

"Some may pass letters under the guise of betrayal. Lyells use a lot of dirty hands. Let me tell you something."

I thought that's what Bred said. But at the same time, I thought it was possible. The two of them gave me a letter before they cut the seal. You can trust me for some.

"So you mean the traitor is confirmed when you bring the story up to someone? Okay. Let's deal with it. And regarding this letter… we will continue to interact."

The Associate Baron wonders.

"Do you continue?

Bred, one plan came to mind. It was about dragging the Lyells out, surrounding them and beating them. Look at the two associate barons who don't understand that, and make fun of them on the inside.

(Can't you even think of an operation like this?)

"Yeah, that's right. It's an important operation. You'll both have to help. And then, are you telling this story to anyone?

The two shook their heads sideways. And I gave you Blower's name.

"I don't like that general named Blower. Well, the other generals are similar. However, I thought the SS Chief would understand the value of this letter. I ran an operation where no one would choose to cross the mountain. I didn't make it, but that's because Baym was too brittle. If it was normal, it would have created an opportunity for pinching, and the SS captain's accomplishments would have been the best in anyone's eyes."

Bread, who was well cared for, was sneering with laughter.

"Then I'll think about the reply here. If a letter comes, let me know immediately"

Thus, the battle between Bred and Lyell became inevitable -.
