Sevens

Chapter xvii prologue

It was two years ago in the spring that they kicked me out of the house.

It's the season when winter is over and you expect something new.

With the onset of such a season, I was looking at a pile of paperwork in the office. Put your hands on your desk and look at your own dirty hands with ink and whine.

"... no, this isn't the kind of counter-attack operation I imagined."

A third generation of pleasant voices could be heard from the treasure balls that lay it as a weight to prevent the documents from flying on the desk.

'You're an idiot, Lyell. Lyell is the ally, so it's natural to have a lot of paperwork. It would be up to my men to go out and work.'

In all honesty, I imagined him giving more arrecole instructions in the field. But the reality was that he was surrounded by escorts in the office and chased to paperwork.

Even if I had the chance to go outside, I'd really hate to give speeches and interviews most of the time. Inside the room, Valkyrie III, today's caretaker, seemed happy.

"Sir, tea is ready."

"How many drinks are you going to have in the morning? My stomach's already tapped."

Apparently, number three remembered - or the motion that you can fry tea that you can remember, over and over again, appeals to me.

As a result, I had a hard time drinking too much tea in the morning.

Months since the battle with the Walt family.

Preparations were under way to fight Ceres. It will be a battle on a continental scale, but even during the time of the Kingdom of Centras, a country that ruled the continent before Bansaim, a battle of this magnitude would have been rare.

In fact, a massive battle was about to begin over three hundred years.

Among the documents comes a report from the Valkyries, which Monica has put together in various locations.

Looking through a compiled report for my hand, it was really easy to understand with illustrations and sets. There are graphs, etc., and I can understand the current situation just by looking at them.

"Did the Fanbaille side set a line on uptake? I'm surprised you have a country that's opportunistic."

It was surprising that there were countries on this scale - hundreds of thousands of troops on both sides moving - that decided how things were going. Then the third generation explains to me how it feels around there.

"Lyell, the world is my world - I can only measure things with my own common sense. With a battle of this magnitude, it's not surprising that there are countries out there that can't even judge beyond imagination. Maybe he's rubbing it in the country. '

I looked at the report and looked at it for the third generation.

"... considering the area, should we deal with it after the war?

However, be cool with the third generation.

'I don't need it. If they take only delicious places later, there will be countries out there that are not convinced. You have to turn your grievances outside. "

When it comes to the unification of the continent, success because you beat Ceres and defeated Bansaim, not. Governance is successful and successful for the first time. After that, I'm desperate to maintain it.

"Well, we're ready for Carthaphs, and Jumpea's on board, so the problem is us, the East."

That being said, the troops under my command have absorbed the Walt family's forces, so the numbers are in order. I'm just not ashamed of myself as an ally. I'm going to have a whole army. If there's a problem, does that mean Baym's rattled?

If I had time, I would have more numbers, etc., but the time to attack is still not clear. No, I can attack you at any time...

I got a different report.

"... I can't believe you're cutting your own battle power"

- What Ceres executed in Bansaim was to create my father's grave. It's just that my father is a Walt family person and an Earl. Yet he gathered manpower to make a better grave than the king, and even though it was a busy time, he also gathered all the men and women to make a giant grave.

"What are you doing?"

The third generation is about Celeste's behavior from the treasure balls.

'You want to make the continent a sea of blood, like Agrissa did. Honestly, I don't think our common sense will make sense. Well, you're not creepy.'

I thought my father was going to do something about his death, but that didn't happen. Nor will the troops be dispatched, nor will assassins be sent from Bansaim. However, the most suspicious thing about my father's grave these days has been vandalized.

It's strange to pick it up, and I thought it was the behavior of an ally with a grudge, but it's not. The body had been beautifully buried again.

However, it was determined that some of the bodies could have been taken away and that it was the work of the Bansaim side.

I was only partially obsessed with it, I guess, to make sure I brought it back. But I'm so caught up.

"It's creepy, isn't it? Well, it's creepy from the start."

When I try to get back to work, number three tells me.

"Sir, we're running out of time to see you"

"... who are you meeting? Tell Mr. Adele to turn it if Damien wants to."

Number three is shaking his neck to the side.

"No, Mr. Marianne, who has become the guild master of South Bame, is coming to see me. He said he had an opinion on the management of the Demon Stone."

When I heard Mr. Marianne's name, I got up. It took a lot of rulemaking to put the guild under the control of the state.

I asked for it to be created, but brilliantly Mr. Marianne and alliance officials come to express their dissatisfaction.

If you just desperately resist disenfranchisement, you can crush it. However, there are many times when guilds are very difficult to manage. Bringing those stories to me.

'Adele, you don't like this. Liane doesn't know about adventurers, and then she'll be Lyell. "

The third generation is right. Besides, it's a problem I can't help. Anyway, I needed to listen to you to deprive the Alliance of its rights and to operate without any problems.

"Ha, I feel heavy"

- At the Royal Palace in Bansaim, part of Meisel's body was delivered to Ceres' room.

Ceres hugging Sole in the box, tears in her eyes.

"Welcome home, Father"

When I said that and opened the box, I grabbed the embedded cane of treasure balls I had. When the yellow jewel emits light, the corpse prepared in advance moves out.

The box floats in the universe, and the corpse is absorbed into it and takes the form of a person.

"... Ceres, I'm home"

There was Meisel with a smile. Some of the rooms looked just like Claire, my mother.

"How impudent of you. Are you still the owner of the Walt family!

To the angry Claire, Meisel seemed sorry.

"Shh, sorry. I was going to give Ceres a souvenir."

"It's too late, Father. Let's have a big party today."

Celeste was holding her parents' hands, hoping she wouldn't mind a souvenir.

With that look, Agrissa in the treasure ball was sitting in a lavish chair. It was as if, within a treasure ball to the throne, he lay his feet together and looked down at everything.

He teased his golden hair at his fingertips and watched what was going on outside with purple eyes.

'... poor, pretty Ceres. Even if it comes back, it's just a vessel. No, they say it's incomplete even as a vessel.'

Agrissa, who completed her skill of resuscitating the dead, but was dissatisfied when she saw the achievement.

'If I succeeded, I would have brought my parents back to life. And the kids. I don't care what else...... no, it's the Walt family. Let me revive that man who defeated me, too. I don't mind. He was a really good man.'

Agrissa was smiling as she saw Ceres pinched by the puppet and looking to have fun. And soon the expression clouded. As the view outside, which was visible from within the treasure ball, disappeared, he stood up and stared at the door behind his seat.

"... what is a goddess if you can't even bring people back to life? Well, if I could, wouldn't I be worshipped as a goddess or something by now? '

Agrissa was once born to take over the memory of Septem. It's Nowem now, and it's Ceres. However, the memory I inherited was a negative part - I inherited only the memories that historical septems had devoted to humanity.

My memory as a goddess is vague, and I'm guessing what happened. But Agrissa was used by mankind who gave it all, sometimes with a strong memory of being abused.

As I glanced at my lips with my fingertips, I left my body behind the back of the chair.

'Well... after that the continent stains with blood, even in silence. Millions of people die. I'm looking forward to it. I can't help it.'

Agrissa walked out into the memory room. There was the appearance of the abused Septems.

Septems to be gentle in plain, worn out clothes, not dresses as flashy and exposed as Agrissa's. Such Septems looked at Agrissa with a blameworthy gaze.

In such a room of memory, Agrissa laughed with her nose.

'Watch there, my predecessors. I'll do whatever it takes to protect the people you couldn't, my dear. Of course, I'm not giving you anything like you... I'm just gonna take it away from you.'

The gaze of the silent Septems had become daunting. From the curse of memory inherited, the beings named Septem, who have given everything unconditionally to people.

Agrissa teases these septems.

'Don't be angry. But I'm better for humanity than you guys. Humans kill each other because there are many of them. That's why I'm making a mistake. It's hard. It's really hard to kill a loved one.'

Greatly laughing, Agrissa laughed delightfully distorting its luscious and beautiful appearance.

And say it.

'Is it so regrettable that Nowem and I once came to the same conclusion that conflicted opinions? That's right...... because he hates humans. You can't forgive me.'

The Septems began to turn their pitiful gaze to Agrissa. Agrissa, who doesn't like that gaze, waves her left hand and erases the Septems.

"It irritates me. I'm tired of making fun of you."

That said, Agrissa turned up.

'Come on, Ceres... I'm sure we're close when we make a promise. Until then, enjoy yourself. "

Agrissa's laughter echoed into the memory room -.

Evening.

It was Nowem who came into the room with an awesome sword screen.

I'm so surprised I got up from my seat that I backed off. Anyway, I'm seriously mad at you for being out of the ordinary. It didn't feel like angering a child who did evil, he was really angry.

Did I do something?

"Duh, what's going on, Nowem?

When I said that freaking out, Nowem put his breath in order and corrected his posture in front of me.

"Excuse me. But I was in a hurry because I really had to hurry to check. So, Master Lyell."

Before the unusual intimidating Nowem, I almost turned my voice upside down. From the treasure balls I lowered to my neck, the third generation panicked.

"What have you done, Lyell? I've never seen Nowem get mad at Lyell before."

I'm in trouble because I don't have one either. But I feel there are a number of reasons to be angry, but I don't feel that angry.

"Hey, what is it!

"- Lord Baldoor told me. Is it true that they want peace and make it their goal?

I heard it and tilted my neck.

"Are you kidding me? No, I did say that. But even I'm not thinking about peace right away, and I'm not thinking about what I'm going to make peace with. But in a few hundred years, maybe a few thousand years, we should make it happen."

I understand it's hard, but I still think it's wrong not to take that step. That's what I said when I was nervous, but I'm not even willing to deny it.

But Nowem was terribly depressed.

"... you're not a post-growth worldly myth, are you?

When I spoke to Baldoor, I was in what the third generation called the 'Runable Sun' state. But it's not my opinion.

"No, that's why what happened?

Nowem says to me. Never before, seriously.

"Dear Lyell, peace is a fantasy. It's also a pain in the ass that poisons people. The world you can't live without fighting is what makes people stronger. Stop fighting and people will be corrupted."

"What the hell is wrong with you? It doesn't look like it."

When I said that and laughed, Nowem stuffed me. And grab my shoulders. Nowem's fingers ate into my shoulder and I felt the pain.

Nowem's eyes felt open and lost light.

"Doesn't it? No, I mean it. It's Master Lyell who doesn't seem to be. What have you been fighting and feeling? What happened to Lady Lyell when she decided to stand up to Lady Ceres? Master Lyell, have you ever thought about what would happen if peace were achieved? If you do, you'll be waiting for..."

Then Miranda came into the room. There's also the Valkyries, towards Nowem who stuffed me.

"Nowem, what are you doing?

In a dim room, Miranda, with the light behind her entering through the window, looked like her eyes were glowing in the shadows. I was scared of this one too.

Nowem looked back slowly, looking at the fingers that ate into my shoulder.

"Also, I'm sorry, Master Lyell! We will treat you immediately. But I..."

Nowem about to cry, but he was trying to tell me something. When Miranda walked into the room, she pulled Nowem and me apart.

"I'll do it for you. Nowem, get out of the room. I'll talk to you when I'm cool."

Surrounded by the Valkyries, Nowem leaves the room. Items dripping, and whining words -.

"- All we are waiting for in a world of peace is moderate death"

That's what he said.
