Ping Chuan spoke, revealing a look of yearning on his face.

Because she had been worried about Zhao Zun and the others, Han Lei already found him quite noisy. Upon hearing him speak like this, she shot him a glance and couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

She simply slammed the brakes, stopping the motorcycle by the roadside. The motorcycle screeched sharply, echoing in the silent night.

"Let’s take a break, get off and eat something."

Han Lei said, jumping off the bike and patting the dust off her clothes.

She, Ms. Li, and the others had been bumping along to Fufeng County, without having a chance to eat a hot meal, and then hurriedly rushed to find Zhao Zun. By now, her stomach had long been protesting.

Ping Chuan also jumped off and shook his somewhat numb legs.

"We really should eat something; I didn’t even get to have dinner at home."

Han Lei bought chicken soup and meat buns from the system, and the two of them quickly snacked.

After dinner, Han Lei wanted to solve a problem, but Ping Chuan was worried she might be drugged and kidnapped again. However, Han Lei casually waved it off, took a mask from her space, and put it on.

She had always been bothered by ancient people doing their business openly; she was still not used to it. But when nature calls, she had to answer.

Han Lei took out two electric batons from her space, giving one to Ping Chuan, which finally put him at ease as they each found a place to relieve themselves.

On the way, Han Lei thought she should equip Ping Chuan with some advanced gear. She had to focus on riding the motorcycle, and if they encountered any emergencies, Ping Chuan would be able to handle it.

Once they returned, Ping Chuan was about to get back on the bike, but Han Lei stopped him.

"Wait. I have something for you."

Han Lei bought a combat suit similar to hers and a ceramic plate bulletproof vest from the system, handing it to Ping Chuan.

"Put this on; it’ll be safer. Remember to wear this inside." Han Lei pointed at the plate-inserted bulletproof vest.

There are different types and levels of bulletproof vests, divided into soft body armor and hard body armor.

Hard body armor, also known as plate-inserted bulletproof vests, contains various bulletproof plates. It’s effective against weapons like swords, daggers, and crossbows.

Ping Chuan took the bulletproof vest, looking at Han Lei with curiosity.

"What is this? It looks like armor but so thin and light."

"This is your armor, quickly put it on."

Han Lei didn’t have time to explain much, impatiently waving for him to quickly change.

"Alright!"

Ping Chuan didn’t waste time, hurrying behind a big tree to change into it.

Wearing the new gear, he affectionately patted it as he walked to the motorcycle, and Han Lei handed him her silenced pistol.

"I’m giving you this too."

"What is this?" Ping Chuan asked curiously.

"A pistol." Han Lei smiled mysteriously, "Didn’t you say you wanted a weapon like this? Here you go."

"What did you say? This... This is that powerful weapon? Miss Han, you... you’re giving me this too?"

Looking at the small handgun in Han Lei’s hand, Ping Chuan, who was no longer surprised by now, had his eyes light up with shock on his face as well.

"Yeah!"

Han Lei nodded, and Ping Chuan, as if he had obtained a treasure, eagerly accepted it with a surprised look on his face.

It was a weapon he had never seen with his own eyes but had always dreamed of! That mysterious and powerful weapon! Even the Prince didn’t have one!

Ping Chuan swallowed hard, cradling the pistol as if it were a rare treasure, rendered speechless from excitement.

Han Lei, amused, curled her lips and quickly taught him how to toggle the pistol’s safety, aim, and use it.

After several repetitions and once Ping Chuan confirmed he understood, Han Lei used the motorcycle’s lights to let him aim at a distant small tree and fire a shot himself.

With a "click," Ping Chuan, shooting for the first time, couldn’t control the pistol’s recoil, feeling as if someone had pushed his arm forcefully.

"Wow! So this is how it works. Just a gentle squeeze can kill the enemy, so thrilling!"

Ping Chuan looked at the gun in his hand, exhilarated. He quickly ran over to check, staring at the tree trunk pierced through, his eyes almost popping out of his head in astonishment.

"My God! The firepower is incredible," Ping Chuan exclaimed, wide-eyed.

"Alright, quickly engage the safety, let’s get going! You can play with it more on the road."

As Han Lei spoke, she already swung her leg over the motorcycle. Hearing her, Ping Chuan agreed, quickly engaging the pistol’s safety, and got into the sidecar.

Once he fastened his seatbelt, he couldn’t stop toying with the pistol fondly.
