Altoninus, who showed up at the courtroom, was blue-faced. Only anxiety arose as to who Artoninus had not returned alone when he was last taken out of sight.

(Survive and show anything)

He's blue-faced, but Altoninus was determined to fight in his heart. It is only natural to renew our resolve beyond what it would mean to die if we lost.

Defendant, stand up, Altoninus.

Altoninus stands when he obeys Orto's words honestly. Altoninus knew it was not a good idea to resist at this stage. Whatever you say, you are better than ruling the Fildmelk Empire.

"We now hold the trial of Altoninus, Emperor of the Fildmelk Empire, against the Zalbbail massacre"

Orto makes a declaration and everyone's gaze pierces Altoninus. Altoninus stared straight at the Zalbbail party without even cowering at the over-caged gaze of hostility.

"Altoninus II, Emperor of the Fildmelk Empire, on the right, did not stop the nobles knowing that one party in Zalbbail was completely innocent, but rather fuelled them and caused genocide in Zalbbail territory. This sin is manifest and can never be overturned. Therefore, we ask Artoninus to be sentenced to the maximum penalty."

The prosecutor's minister read out Altoninus' indictment. At the end of the indictment, Orto tells Altoninus.

"Do you find the defendant true about the indictment now?

Altoninus opens his mouth with an extra look on Orto's words.

"I'm just surprised by claims that are too different from the facts. The rest are not involved in the massacre of Zalbbeyle."

Signs of anger rise from the audience minister Zalbbeyle in Altoninus' words, but Ort controls them with his gaze.

"Zalbbail's attempts to do harm to our Fildmelk Empire through other countries were ruled upon by trial. The rest only signed the outcome of that trial."

Alto smiled bitterly at Altoninus' words. The emotions contained in it deserve to be called “hatred”. But Ort doesn't take it for a bite.

"The rest cannot bend the law as rulers. If you're accusing me of the remainder, you should show proof that the remainder is involved in Zalbbeyle's wrongdoing."

Altoninus said away with an extra look on his face.

Put everything on your men. It's shallow where you think you can survive.

Olt is laughing spirally in his heart. But he disguised himself as a body with nothing to say back on the surface. That makes Altoninus' mouth even smoother.

"It's Salve Bail. I honestly sympathize with your situation. But didn't you also slaughter innocent people without sin? There must have been some of those you killed who were not involved in the Zalbbail massacre. How do you make amends for that?

Altoninus now blames Zalbbeyle for his outrage. Blaming someone for their pursuit is a constant means.

"Come on answer me!! The Salve Bail people!!

Altoninus' words are confident. The ministers of Zalbvail gave an angry look, but our family did not break the cool look, which turned into a relief look.

"Surely what we have done may be considered a sin."

Orto affirmed Altoninus' statement in a bitter mix of laughter. To the word Artoninus distorts his niggardly mouth. Orto continues his words as he sees the look on that Altoninus' face.

"Artoninus says it's strange for the guilty to be judged, right?

"That's right. We have to find out how we're gonna make amends for what Zalbbeyle did before we go through with the rest of this."

"I see..."

I think Altoninus disputed Alto for that word, and the distortion in his mouth is even greater.

(Huh, you zalb bail. He's going to call me all at once)

Altoninus opened his mouth first as he tried to open it to confirm his own victory.

"Is that it?

"What?"

But Alto's next word was what Altoninus would not expect, and Altoninus responded with a grumpy response. Olt's reaction was “to that extent” with disappointment.

"That's why I'm asking if that's it."

"also, of course, not the end"

"Well, then you talk fully. Can you show me the wasted scratches (...)"

"What?

Altoninus utters an upset voice in Orto's words.

"Nah. You're asking us to atone for our sins, but what is the sin of our actions?

"What!? Didn't you Zalbbeyle slaughter an innocent people not involved in the slaughter!!

Altoninus loses his margin and abhors his voice. The Zalbbail family has an extra look on their face.

"Nah. They slaughtered the people of our Fildmelk Empire, but what's the problem with that?

"Nah..."

"How many articles of the Imperial Code do we violate in our massacre?

Altoninus' expression is that two sentences cannot be passed on to Ort's words. Seeing that, Ort continued his argument without a problem.

"Are you trying to say that you will touch upon Article 43 of the Imperial Code and Article 17 of the Imperial Military Code?

Orto is totally mocking Altoninus. Everyone in this room guessed about it.

"Hey, Altoninus, you seem to be losing your mind, so I'll tell you what."

"Huh?"

"The subject of Imperial Law and Imperial Military Law is only for the living (...)"

"Ah..."

Altoninus spoke as he thought to Orto's words. When I realized that, Altoninus' complexion disappeared at once.

"It will be described in Article I of the Imperial Law.“ The subjects acquire their rights and duties at the same time as childbirth and disappear by death (...) ”. We are all“ dead ”. Therefore, imperial law and imperial military law are not covered. Earlier you said you couldn't bend the law as a ruler yourself. We're not supposed to be legally deceased."

"Ah, ah..."

"Besides. This is a place to turn down your sins and not to discuss anything else."

In Orto's words, Altoninus's exaltation until earlier had vanished like a lie. Seeing it, the Zalbbail family pierced the gaze of mockery into Altoninus.

"If you were a father, why didn't you tell Altoninus sooner?

Emilia tells Orto. For Emilia, Artoninus' winning face was nothing but offensive. It would be more humiliating for Altoninus if he drank it. To Emilia's words, Orto says niggardly.

"It's just a play. I wanted to slap where I thought it would help to argue with us."

"If I were your father,"

A slightly smiling atmosphere emanated from between Zalbvail in Emilia's frightened voice, but naturally Altoninus's discomfort was all over his expression.

"Well, your play was evidence of your involvement in the Zalbvail massacre around here. Hey, bring the witness."

Several people came into the room in response to Orto's words.
