The labyrinth city was a terrible place to be.

We're standing at the entrance to the labyrinth city, so there's only a little bit of what we can see... but still, I know it's weird.

Or there's only a penetration point.

"Um... what's that pillar over there? It's kind of a strange magic flow..."

One of the weird things I found was that Lurii noticed it, too.

Lurii pointed to the magic light... I mean, it's like a pillar that uses magic to illuminate its surroundings... but the problem is its source of magic.

Normally, demonic stones are used as a source of magic for these props.

This is a labyrinth city, so the Demon Stone will be easy to obtain.

Even so... the magic light here was directly connected to the magic stream of the labyrinth.

That too, in a fairly appropriate and cluttered way.

Sure, this way you won't need the Demon Stone, but it's an extremely dangerous outrage.

Leave it alone, it'll explode in less than three years.

"Hey, those two! You better stay away from me! Sometimes it explodes! This year alone, he's killing ten people!

As me and Lurii watched the magic lights, the owner of the nearby grocery store called us.

After all, does it explode...

Besides, they're even out dead people.

"How could you have such a dangerous thing?

I don't know why I would hire such a substitute, so I decided to ask the store owner.

Then the shopkeeper hid his mouth with his hands and made a call here.

Apparently, you can't say that out loud.

As I walked near the store owner, the store owner whispered and began to speak with enough voice to hear it critically.

"... it is the Lord's command. It's a waste of money to export demon stones, so you can use this. Until then, I was using demon stones. There are other heavy taxes and things... I miss my predecessors."

... I see. Replaced, the order of the new lord?

If you think of Bifgel as something of a lord, don't be convinced of this situation either.

Or that's all I can explain.

"And this city, oddly few people today, don't you think?

"... sure, not much. Is this a Lordship thing, too?

Labyrinth cities are the heart of this region and should be fairly large cities.

If you look at the area written on the map, the number of shops around you, the atmosphere, and the density of the building, you can't go wrong with that.

Even so, there are too few people.

The figures are sparse and clearly not commensurate with the number of shops.

If it's a labyrinth city, of course it is, you can hardly even find an adventurer.

"You know. I heard there was a strong demon on every ten levels of the labyrinth, but most adventurers were mobilized to defeat it. Thanks to you."

Mobilize most of the adventurers into a single enemy?

Sure, if you're going to defeat a strong demon, you'd better have a lot of people... if everyone's magic battle reaches a certain level or higher.

I just duly collected the miscellaneous fish and it just pulls my legs together.

It seems very unlikely that the adventurers of the labyrinth city have reached the required level.

Weapons sold in stores that look nearby are terrible.

"Strong or weak?

"Oh. Let all the adventurers who were in town shake the dice, and all the guys who came out except six are in. For once, it's formally voluntary, but it's practically compulsory. The guy who refused to participate before was kicked out of town.... how many will die this time"

It's not about your power as an adventurer, it's about dice. You're too harsh......

Maybe the Lords of Labyrinth Cities are more incompetent than Bifgel.

"... I see. Thanks for the info. Let's buy this."

That said, I'll buy some of the spices I sold at the store as appropriate.

I could have bought food, but due to storage magic, I wanted to keep my luggage light.

"Maido!

But when the lord gets so incompetent, we might get into some trouble, too.

It's possible that the Demons are involved, but I don't feel any sign of that.

Well, while diving into the labyrinth, you want to see a little more?
