"There's got to be a woman! Find it!"

I hear a rough voice and I stiffen myself up.

I'm sure they've been scouting for a while, looking for me. Though Mark taught me that it's best to get out of the carriage if the danger is imminent, I feel it's suicidal to get out and run now.

It could be dangerous not only for me, but also for others who are distracted. It would be better to be in the carriage, as promised to Mr. Leo, though I'm afraid, but my location is still as obvious as it sounds.

I have to respond if I have to. I looked around in the carriage, but naturally it's narrow. I desperately thought only of the moves I could take when this thief came in.

Suddenly the front of the carriage opens, and a man peeks into it.

Standing right near the entrance and exit, beside a barrel easily made barricade, I grip the dagger. From the entrance I looked painfully and devised a way for me not to see myself.

Now if we can get away with this, if a man can come in and look for us in the carriage, we might be able to attack him from behind. I hold my breath and see how it goes.

The man walked in like he was in a hurry.

A hand with a dagger shivers when it snaps.

I... attack, can you do it?

"Chris!?

I heard a voice from a man, and all at once the tension was lifted.

"Chris, where are you! No way."

"Le, Mr. Leo......"

You were too nervous, all you had was a small voice.

One barrel falls on the clap and tells Mr. Leo where I am. Mr. Leo glanced at me and sighed a deep relief.

"Good............!

"Come on, thief."

"Yeah, about the rest of the party. I tied him up."

I take a deep, deep breath, too. At the same time I was relieved, my legs trembled and I can no longer stand.

Petan, and sat me down, held me tight so that Mr. Leo could reassure me.

"Sorry, I made you feel scared"

Mr. Leo apologizes, but that's out of line.

Because I followed Leo, reluctantly saying it was dangerous.

"No, no. I'm the one who's forced to follow you. Please don't apologize."

"No, my reading was sweet. There were more remnants of the party than I thought, and I didn't expect them to be aggressively attacked after all that captivity before this. It's my mistake."

Tears spilled unexpectedly at the warmth that holds me tight, but I'm the one making the mistake. I got Mr. Leo in so much trouble, I got my feet together. Because of this, Mark taught me how to protect myself, but my body is actually trembling so much.
