Act 44 - The Girl Is In A Great Mood
The Independent Cavalry Regiment, which launched the Gallia Fortress, is the first destination. I was marching for the city of Canary.
"Major, look. It's getting a lot warmer, so the flowers are starting to bloom."
Colorful flowers are beginning to blossom in the meadows against the backdrop of the Est Mountains, which extend into a clear blue sky. A pleasant breeze brought a slight sweet scent.
In a month's time, it will bloom on one side around.
"Major, are you asking for my story?
…………
Speaking up again, Olivia doesn't respond. Not even looking at the flowers at all, he was pulling his mouth tight and knotting and stroking his black horse.
"Ha. Major, please fix your mood. This involves the morale of soldiers."
"So now we're going to Emrid via Wangdu?
"As I said earlier, I can't do that"
When Claudia refuses, Olivia swells her cheeks wide and turns that way. Is it because of the fact that for some reason it creates an atmosphere that even black horses seem grumpy?
Hissing from time to time, he turns his wet, pitch-black eyes to this one. Ashton lining up the horses is managing to get back in the mood, but it doesn't seem to work very well.
Olivia was delighted to be able to stop at Wang Du on her way to the castle city of Emrid. You want to find out quickly why the Valedstorms disconnected.
But when Claudia told him that she wouldn't go through the Wang capital lightly, Olivia was upset without hiding it.
There are two main routes from the Gallia fortress to the castle city of Emrid. One is a route across the Est Mountains through the Wang du Phis and westward.
The other is the route north of the city of Canary and east along the desert. The Independent Cavalry Regiment chose the latter route.
This is simply the result of the cavalry regiment led by Hosmund choosing the former route. Unlike the first regiment, which weighs awkward speed, the second regiment, the Independent Cavalry Regiment, weighs in on enemies and intelligence gathering.
Because it makes no sense to follow the same route in order to capture the trends of the Imperial Army from a wider perspective. Not to mention that it can't be more than an army to reroute on personal matters.
Claudia sighed inside, continuing the conversation.
"Major, even if you stopped by Wang Capital, you don't have time to do your research. In the first place, it's not easy to get into the Royal Library"
"... how can you not easily enter the Royal Library?
Olivia asks why with a frown root.
"The admission process usually takes two days. Plus I need the mouthfeel of someone I can trust. Anyway, books and materials delivered to the Royal Library are precious."
"I'm very interested, too, but the civilians won't let me in."
Ashton groans enviously from the side. Not even looking at Ashton like that, Olivia has asked to eat in.
"So I won't let you in?
"I can't assure you, perhaps..."
Slightly clouded words, but Olivia was a civilian until recently. Just because you've come to take a name for a nobleman doesn't make it easy for you to enter the hospital.
What matters is the credibility we've built up. There is no way Olivia, who has just become a nobleman, has any credibility. I would never put that in my mouth.
However, there are exceptions to everything. Ashton doesn't seem to know, but even civilians can get in if they pile up huge gold coins.
However, it would be possible to do that about some of the biggest merchants in the extreme.
"You can't go in there with Claudia's mouthfeel?
"Hmm. What do you think? The Jung family is quite a historic house. Probably not a problem, but you can't even say you're absolutely fine."
The Jung family is known as the famous Takemen family who have given birth to numerous knights. Still, it is only a nobleman who stands on the border, and has no power to set up a separate mansion in the King's capital.
The reason I didn't say I was absolutely fine was due to such circumstances as well.
"So who can say you're absolutely fine?
Claudia turns her mind around feeling slightly at risk to Olivia as she approaches her face so close that her forehead hits her. What immediately came to mind was Paul, who was impeccable in his accomplishments, his popularity and his character.
Perhaps if Olivia asked, Paul would be happy to mouth it. But even if the opponent is a person in the position of general, commander-in-chief of the Seventh Army. It's not a good idea to say a private favor cheaply.
In the end, Claudia decided that Olivia should not be taught.
(When that happens, is it someone who is not particularly concerned and ensures that the mouthfeel works...)
In Claudia's eyes came one man with the same pale blonde hair as himself.
"Right. I'm pretty sure Brother Ninehardt-Brigadier General would be the first. It's pretty connected, and it doesn't seem like they'll take the time to process it."
"─ Brigadier General Ninehardt?
Claudia laughs bitterly when she sees Olivia tilting her neck small. I know I've seen him a few times, but he doesn't remember.
Ashton had a reputation for missing Olivia's memory, but apparently it doesn't make sense to an uninterested subject.
"Forgot? I think someone came to thank the major who butchered Zamuel."
"Zamuel?"
Olivia tilts her neck over and over again just because she doesn't know more. Olivia opened her eyes haha as Claudia told her more details about her appearance and more.
"I remember! He's not a good imitator of fish!
Claudia accidentally blew it out on words she had not expected at all. No woman, other than Olivia, would describe Ninehardt as' a person who doesn't imitate fish well 'and so on, who can even say he has brilliant eyebrows from the eyes of his cousin. When a woman asks in favor of Ninehardt, it is a story of graduation. It would be nice to have someone like that.
This is something I'd like to ask you, Brother Ninehardt.
As Claudia grins badly in her heart, Olivia nods many times as she grips her fist in a good way. Ninehardt owes Olivia.
It will taste fine. Though I do, I open my mouth to focus on the task at hand.
"Major, even if you ask Brigadier General Ninehardt, you have to do your job well. Otherwise, I don't think you'd ask me for every favor."
"Yeah, Claudia's right! All right! We'll do our best. Whoa!!
Olivia smiles with her fists raised high. Apparently, you've fixed my mood. Again, to Olivia, a grumpy face doesn't look good.
The soldiers around him felt the same way, smiling uniformly.
As Claudia breathes in a ho, Ashton laughs bitterly at the words of labor. I was kind of just a little happy about that.
Then two days later.
The Independent Cavalry Regiment arrived in the city of Canary.
