Shut-in Magician

027 Walk with stalkers and horsebacks

The story goes back to normal. Laetitia says that Gladius decided to ask for a sunflower against the stubborn Agricola. Now, I'm back at the inn once.

Gladys was the only one who would sunflower, and later members decided to take the request in the guild because they were free.

"So I'm still in Loire for a while, so why don't you take a job with me? I'm here at your invitation."

"You mean throw a party?

"Yes. If it's compatible, it's fine all the time. Kirch said."

"Thank you for your offer."

"What, that salutation"

With his cheek poked, Siu grinned bitterly.

"I'm an apprentice."

"Age alone."

"I want to continue my work at the tenth rank."

"Why?"

"I don't have anyone to take it, so it looks like it's accumulating a lot. And it's a lot of fun."

"Yeah."

Laetitia puts the back of her hand on her chin and comes up with an idea.

"If you accumulate too much, they say the Alliance officials will embark on processing, but they say it's tough with a lot of numbers"

"Sometimes you force them to take it."

"In that case, an adventurer who has been penalized by the Alliance can be guessed. But getting penalized means..."

"Bad behavior," he said.

The requesting side also has trouble being a bad attitude adventurer. I also want to avoid my guild having a bad reputation. I had no choice but to go out as a processing clerk, but that didn't seem to catch up either.

"But you don't need Siu to take it, do you? There are as many other people as there are in the 10th grade."

"Mm-hmm. But a job that doesn't have to cost you your life is hard, huh?

"... that's not what adventurers say."

Right, and Siu agreed to that. But life matters.

"At least I'm an apprentice until I grow up, and I'm going to take it easy. I want to save money, but that's for old age. Then it's not too late to grow up."

"... old age!

"One reason to be an adventurer is to be able to travel, but the rest is to be able to save money early for old age, right? Grandpa was an adventurer when he was younger, retiring early, traveling and enjoying himself, and then entering life."

Laetitia looked up to heaven. Hands on your forehead, you look frightened.

But Grandpa had strictly ordered me to 'not waste it, but save money early'. Siu agrees with that. Grandpa must have seen the life of fellow adventurers and had something to think about. Siu is from reflection in his previous life.

I don't remember wasting it in my previous life, but I didn't have any savings because I had a lot of discharges. Even if I regret saving more when I was younger, it's too late.

After all, Siu respects Grandpa. So his words are the guiding principle.

Laetitia should have convinced me that Siu wouldn't go into the party. But the next day, after a while, I went to the Adventurer's Guild and looked at the bulletin board, and I was similarly looking from the side.

By the way, the study group was supposed to do it in the evening. So, welcome, not that.

"Hey, what's this?

Pilala removes the paper and Laetitia asks.

"No, because there's an age limit. It's hard for kids to fix the exterior wall."

"Siu would be able to do it."

"Just because I can, I can't. I don't think they'll let me take it."

……

Found work cleaning up the warehouse and walking the horseman, Siu went to the reception with the requisition. Laetitia follows after that.

The adventurers were watching. There are so many men in adventurers that having a "beautiful girl" like Laetitia really seems to make my gaze point. In the meantime, the wise man had gathered the requisitions of the message boards with gasp.

Siu, it's been a long time.

"Yes, because I was taking my job personally"

"Oh, I see. So you can take this request today.... Yes, no problem. Thank you very much."

So the receptionist looked up and saw Laetitia standing behind Siu.

"With her? Do you mean a party?"

"No. I'm following you on my own."

"... on your own?

The receptionist looked at Laetitia in surprise, so she looked dissatisfied and returned it.

"I don't want to see you working."

"You mean a tour. Just in case, I'd like to see your guild card, would you mind?"

As Siu watched her interactions with the receptionist, Laetitia waved to see if she had given up or not. The tour seems to stop.

Forever, even if they followed me, I was in trouble, and I was horrified. As it was, Siu put her down and headed to the scene.

Cleaning up the warehouse was easy. The requisition said that even children were allowed, so naturally, the luggage was only light.

The owner of the warehouse was old and unable to do so alone. After finishing earlier than planned, I decided to help clean up the mother house. For that reason, he thanked me very much when he finished his work, and I had a lunch treat. Even if Ferres was there, he wouldn't be bothered, but rather so much so that he was happy to be cute. Even for Siu, he was a good client.

My next request is for a walk on the beast. Inside the mall, the back of the big store was the designated location. It has the same construction as any other merchant, and has a main house so that it has a courtyard and surrounds it. Siu slammed the knocker on the back door of the main house and waited. It was the deputy butler and the stables manager who came out. After greeting, to the Deputy Deacon,

"Are you taking the request?

And he was obviously turned to a frigid look in his eyes. I guess you decided Siu was too young.

Don't you have a better guy?

The deputy deacon had a great attitude and Siu also thought, "Don't let this be turned down," but the stables manager was desperate to take it. In the end, the deputy deacon seemed to accept the words of the stables manager.

"I've made a request and I wonder how long it's been. Besides, guilds don't do a lot of work with kids like this. Well, I have no choice. You're fine."

With Siu honestly answering yes, the stables manager seemed horrified.

As the deputy deacon returned indoors, Siu headed up to the stables that there was a horseman with guidance from the stables manager.

Along the way, I felt a similar sensation to Laetitia, a close gaze. Also, I guess you're asking the Spirit to look at people. There are also the results of the practice, and for some reason, but the strong gaze of the Spirit has become felt even in the Exploration of All Directions.

Siu, by the way, based on his last failure, has already stopped putting a lid on the magic library.

Instead, I tried to install something in my brain that looked like a gauge that showed the amount of magic I had used. If I had continued to use the Appraisal Magic "People Appraisal", the display would have been more detailed, and my magic power could have been measured.

Magic is usually a mechanism that goes back to normal when you take a break or sleep, and Siu is basically the same. However, in the case of Siu, "Omnidirectional Exploration" is always used, so the amount of magic can always be negative. With the remaining amount of magic, I enjoy thinking about how to save money. Magic metering was very convenient for Siu.

With that in mind, I arrived at the stables. The stables manager points inside.

"That's the horseman I want you to walk with."

There are a few horses at the stables, resting. At that end of the spectrum was a lot of riding beast. But it wasn't what Siu imagined. It was said to be a horseman, but because the child was very small.

"I'm only three months old. As you saw earlier, a deputy deacon judges everything by its appearance. I don't really think about this guy either. I should have hired a dedicated person because I picked up a pebble, but you wouldn't even do that."

"Did you pick it up, that guy?

"No, I'm the daughter under my young husband. I'm glad to hear that. I'm adorable, but I can't get around to walking, and more importantly, I can't let my daughter walk."

"I see."

They've managed to turn it around with the stables now, but I guess it's hard to walk a beastrider child that can't be the same as a horse.

"Well, I'm going to the park for a bit. Do you have precautions? Oh, me, I'm used to helping you at the Beast Shop. Cassa's a store."

"Cassa would know. If you're in and out of that beast rider, don't worry. Then I'll take care of it."

Siu nodded, putting a lead on the collar of the Son of the Beast, and went out of the stables.
