Chapter 927: Meeting the Enemies
With the sudden changes in the Pill Tower, everyone in the vicinity was shocked. The numerous floored tower was replaced with a tree with silver leaves. If not for the fact it didn’t have fruits that signifies the knowledge it possessed, one would not recognize these trees as the Tree of Knowledge. People from all over the place had gathered. They varied in teams and everyone had brought people from their own side. Of course no one had brought someone weaker than a God King realm cultivation.
Among these groups the one that is obviously larger is the Yun Clan. They even brought two False Emperor realms and five Quasi-Emperor Realms. It can be said that the Yun Clans are quite powerful. They have at least ten Quasi-Emperor Realm cultivators and three False Emperor realm cultivators. But the mission that involved the Pill tower had already caused them to lose one Quasi-Emperor realm cultivator which pissed them off. Now they have brought four Quasi-Emperor realm cultivators and two False Emperor realm cultivators. Clearly, they had the intention to do everything just to get the Pill Tower no matter what. They were obsessed with having the Legacy of the Late Divine Doctor, especially his Pill Recipes.
This is the first group who had arrived at the pill tower and they were the ones the Moon Goddess and the Immortal Sun Emperor had sensed first. Well the missing Emperor realm cultivator still had its current location missing at the moment.
The other group had also brought Quasi-Emperor realm cultivators as well but not as many as the Yun Clan. Just one and two at max most of their team only had late or peak stage God King realm cultivators. The total count of the Quasi-Emperor realm cultivators in place are at least twenty and two false emperor realm cultivators. The other group didn’t seem to be willing to let just the Yun Clan monopolize the Pill Tower and brought some power from their own family or sect.
Now this group of people were all staring at the two people who had come out of the tower. Their eyes lingered longer on the woman. Not just an ordinary woman, it was the Goddess of the Moon in her Ancient Elf Form.
"Is this for real?!"
"That hair... those pointed ears. They are unlike the ears of half elves."

Now, standing beside her was a sword cultivator with obsidian hair and eye color. No one recognizes him and no one can see through his realm except for one person. The only Emperor realm cultivator in the crowd hiding in the eyes of everyone that can recognize that the man standing beside this Ancient High Elf was none other than the Immortal Sun Emperor in disguise.
Somewhere within the dark corner among the crowd, a young man whose face was hidden under a large hood was watching the whole thing. He was stunned when he first noticed the face of this Ancient High Elf but the one that made him shudder was the sword cultivator that suddenly appeared to kill the bug that dared approach.
"This is... I can’t believe I will see the merciless tyrant playing the role of a bodyguard for one woman like this. This is simply..."
The man in hood halted his words when suddenly he met the emerald gold eyes of the Ancient High Elf woman looking at him with calm eyes. Those are eyes that definitely see him within the crowd. He was shocked this was the first time he had met someone’s eyes without any emotion in it. As if looking through the mirror, pure and untainted. For some reason he felt that these eyes could see through him, making him uncomfortable yet at the same time thrilling.
The moment they met in that split second, Yue Xuexia completely lost interest in the only Emperor realm cultivator in the crowd and finally averted her gaze nonchalantly.
Her thoughts are: ’Mid Emperor realm. Weaker than Jueyang. He can handle this one without problem.’
As she averted her gaze, the man in the hood felt offended. This is the first time he had met a woman who looked at him disinterested. It now piques his interest how this woman would react if his face was exposed before her.
"Heh~ interesting. Did she just choose to ignore me?" The man in the hood mumbles while holding back his anger. "I can’t wait to meet you myself, Goddess of the Moon~."
Back to the situation before the Pill Tower, after a Peak God king Cultivator was instantly killed by the Sword Cultivator beside the Elf Woman everyone surrounding the area realized that this sword cultivator is most likely stronger than a God King. It was unknown if his cultivation is at Quasi-Emperor or False Emperor realm but this man is undeniably a variable that can stop them from taking over this place.
The atmosphere in the area had turned serious in an instant. That one death changed everything. As for the Pill Tower Master Han Siyu and the two Grand Elders plus one Tree Spirit watching from the door of the Pill Tower sneakily peeking outside watched everything that unfolds before their eyes.
"Grandpa Han, Will Master and Uncle Shen be alright alone outside? There are too many bad guys? Did they come here to capture Guigui?" Yue Guishu asked innocently.
Grand Elder Li Houye gave a lollipop to the little boy while comforting him.

The Pill Tower Master and the two Grand Elders exclaimed in shock, "What did you say!?"
Ignoring the commotion behind them, the Moon Goddess and the Immortal Sun Emperor stood before the invaders with calm expression. Yue Xuexia in her Elven Form looked at everyone surrounding the area with a calm expression and finally felt her neck feeling stiff from looking up for too long and sighed.
"I’m tired," said Yue Xuexia.
Shen Jueyang asked, "Would you like some pillows?
The Goddess of the Moon felt tired standing and made a movement as if wanting to sit down. Suddenly tree branches moved on their own and made a luxurious chair for her sake. None of this was commanded by her, it’s just that her bloodline made nature love her unconditionally acting this servile in her presence.
Yue Xuexia responded, "I will take it thank you."
Shen Jueyang wasn’t just watching and pulled out some cushion for her to use. Everyone was dumbfounded by the actions of this pair and was eventually angered as their reaction is no different than indifference to their presence as if they were being looked down upon by this pair.
