Chapter 908: Challenge
After hearing what the Immortal Sun Emperor had just explained about the difference of importance between the pills she, the Moon Empress, made compared to the pills sold in this world, left me speechless. Yue Xuexia couldn’t believe that the level of this world when it comes to Pill Refinement was lower than she expected.
The Goddess of the Moon said, "I will give you a Longevity Pill as long as you complete the missions I will give you while I stay at the Inner Haven."
Hei Yu and Shi Chuan fell on their knees before Yue Xuexia.

The Moon Goddess nods her head in acceptance to their promise. After business with the Hanging Herb Garden, Evergreen, is finished Yue Xuexia planned to head to the Pill Tower as she planned. She wanted to check the three new properties she had received from the system. Upon hearing this, Shi Chuan chose to accompany his princess to the Pill Tower like Hei Yu.
Now the group of five turned six. Riding into the carriage which was renovated on the spot to increase the space inside. Yue Xuexia uses space elements and formation knowledge to expand the ordinary looking carriage’s interior. Now the two seats inside the carriage had changed into a huge interior room with soft couches, carpeted floors and a table at the center with served tea sets and plates of desserts. With the formation keeping the shaking of the carriage, the interior of the carriage is no different from a real stable room itself.
Yue Xuexia lets puppets drive the carriage while Hei Yu and Shi Chuan join them inside.
She is currently reading the information about the treasure land, Phoenix-Dragon Ancient Nest, which was collected by Hei Yu’s people from the Evernight Manor.

But Tan Shengyu realized that his master didn’t mind them doing as they wished as long as they did not forget their standing and didn’t bother his time with the Moon Goddess.
Tan Shengyu accepted the offered cup from Hei Yu and said, "A few cups will not be a problem."
"How about you, Chuan?" Hei Yu asked.
The half elf politely declined and said, "No thank you. I only drink fruit wine."
"Then this is not something you can drink. This is not made of fruit but rice," said Hei Yu. "Then Chuan can continue drinking his tea with us."
"Okay," said Shi Chuan.
As for the young couple, they went to the corner to start meditating. With the three adults and two masters with them, training in this kind of situation felt very safe for them. So they did, after all, staying in this world for months made them realize that strength speaks more than words and they didn’t want to burden the Moon Goddess with their weakness. They were also worried about that Divine Beast Tribe targeting them due to their mixed bloodline while the former hates them the most.
The journey ended with the carriage finally reaching the location of the Pill Tower but the carriage didn’t stop in front of the entrance if the tower as at this moment this remarkable towering building’s entrance is now blocked by an entourage led by some kind of factions that is going against the people from the Pill Tower itself.
"Mistress, Master, the road is blocked by people!" Tan Shengyu said after peeking outside.
The Immortal Sun Emperor just glanced at Hei Yu and the latter knew that this lord is asking him to make a move and gather information of what is truly happening at the Pill Tower.
Hei Yu said, "I will investigate the situation." Before merging with the shadows and disappearing on the spot, move through the shadows itself.
As for Shi Chuan, he peeks through the curtains of the carriage while avoiding his face from being exposed. He saw some faces of the people blocking the pill tower. However, the thing that he noticed the most is the familiar looking crest of the Yun Clan itself. The insignia of a herb which is mostly used by the alchemist of the same family.
Lord Shi Chuan said, "These people... they are alchemists from the Yun Clan. Why would the people of the Core Haven show their place here?"
"Yun Clan? It seems they are trying to reach out at something they shouldn’t have," said the Immortal Sun Emperor.
Clearly, this man had already seen the Pill Tower as something owned by the Moon Goddess and a part of her properties. Now that someone from the Core Haven is reaching out towards it, Shen Jueyang was completely annoyed. Yue Xuexia stopped him before he could even make a move.
The Moon Goddess said, "Wait for Hei Yu’s report before making a move."
"...Alright," said Shen Jueyang as he no longer recklessly tried to come out of the carriage and grab some people from the Yun Clan.
Meanwhile outside the carriage, an alchemist with Fifth-grade strength was leading his own clan’s people blocking the Pill Tower’s entrance. They are arrogant enough to wage the whole Yun Clan just to force the Pill Tower to enter an Alchemy battle against their people. The winning reward they wanted was the whole Pill Tower itself.
The fifth-grade alchemist is an old man wearing an alchemist robe with the crest of the Yun clan. He issued a challenge as planned, not knowing that the real owner of the Pill Tower itself had already arrived by the entrance of the building waiting for the report from her subordinate.
"Pill Tower Master Han, the Yun Clan’s Fifth-grade Alchemist Master Yun Shan challenges the Pill Tower for a Pill Refinement Battle. The winner will own the other’s everything. Does your Pill Tower accept this challenge?"
This challenge was heard by everyone passing by the area including the group of Yue Xuexia who was staying in the carriage. Even though they do not know the details about why the situation had come into this, Yue Xuexia’s eyes had narrowed dangerously.

He moves within the shadows of everyone in the crowd and finds Pill Tower Master Han Siyu in his office together with the worried group of Pill Refiners who were listening to the challenge from the Yun Clan outside the tower.
Pill Tower Master, Han Siyu, was sighing helplessly when suddenly he heard a voice coming from behind him saying, "Agree to the challenge, the real owner of the Pill Tower had commanded and would come to see you later."
