"Boy, do you have a minute? I need to talk to you."

A man from a pedestrian who's always come to the village tells me.

Just fine.

I just made a new one too.

What I'm selling to the traffickers are sandals made from Hatsuka stems and magic mushrooms to see if they're finally starting to orbit an increase in production.

But the sandals are terribly cheap unit price, and I can only take a few magic mushrooms.

So I was thinking about getting them to buy out the dishes I made the other day.

"Actually, I want you to sell the bricks I make at the kid's house. You've built a new house recently, haven't you? I saw something quite splendid."

"Huh? The house has been around for a long time, and I haven't built a new one... Could you be talking about the storage?

"Huh? Is that brick building in storage? No, well, if it's storage, that's fine. Just ask your parents to sell me that brick anyway."

"Nothing's fine. I have one that's too much to make. Besides, I have a good product. I made a new dish. Buy it."

"Mm-hmm, dishes... No, I'd rather have a brick now. I'll let you see it again."

"Don't say that. It's a good one, so I'll never lose it. Look at that."

Apparently, the old pedestrian thinks about bricks all the time, and he's not really into dishes.

But at least I think white porcelain and glass dishes like I've never seen in this village would be rare.

I show my confidence in new products.

"Wow. This is amazing. They're all beautiful. How did you make that?

"Secret. Better yet, you'll buy me this."

"Oh, fine. Let me buy it off with a brick."

That's how I ended the negotiations with the traffickers, I thought.

But when I finished loading the bricks I had left near the house and it was settled, it turned out to be out of line with my expectations.

If it is made of white porcelain or glass, I can definitely get it bought high.

That's what I thought, and I never doubted that idea.

But the amount the pedestrian put on was much lower than I thought.

You should buy it higher.

That sort of thing didn't make much difference.

This is still bought for several times more than regular dishes, they just say.

I argued that someone would try to buy such a clean glass cup even if it was expensive, but I couldn't.

Essentially, it is the common people living in the city and village that this pedestrian conducts his business.

No one spends that much money on dishes.

Then I guess I should sell it to the rich guys, but it's not that easy.

The wealthy don't deal with the kind of pedestrians who go around the village and do business very aggressively.

We only interact with merchants we've known for a long time, and we can't get into the meantime.

From the other side, I guess you feel you can't do it unless you just thank me for buying it for a few times the normal price.

I don't necessarily sell good stuff.

Words came to me like I heard them somewhere.

That doesn't mean you can sell just that, no matter how great the product is.

Rather, what mattered was how to advertise the product so that it could be sold.

There's just no TV, no newspapers, no Internet here.

If it were expensive, the aim would be the wealthy, such as the aristocrats.

How can I make that wealthy person want to buy it?

Maybe the best publicity is a track record like "It's one used in the aristocracy over there".

But with no connections at all needed to get that track record.

I wonder how many new merchandise appeals this makes no sense.

I was disappointed, but I promised to continue selling bricks.
