"All right, let's build a castle town"

I was thinking a little bit more than just building the symbolic castle of power called Gran, and I thought of creating a castle town as an accompanying city.

When I was formerly expanding my land by exploring the woods, I had the thought, "This is my land," and I didn't really want to actively inhabit anyone else.

But things are different now.

The pioneering land is indeed my land, but a wider area than that is recognized as my ruling land as the Knights of Barca.

If it is, then it will not be necessary to focus solely on the land of this pioneering land.

Rather as an idea of reversal, let us actively let this land live.

Get your hands on the walls you've built to deal with the big pigs coming out of the woods, too, to build a city in the walls, to inhabit people.

That's how we shall protect the land of Barca with its inhabitants as a force of war.

There would be no further benefit if protecting the inhabitants and also leading to protecting the land.

I decided to do that, and I started acting fast.

A wall of 1 km per side is present in the centre of the land surrounded by a wall of 4 km per side.

This wall is made of hardened brick and is called an inner wall.

The land inside the inner wall had my house, basically hatching Valkyrie and cultivating magic mushrooms.

Either way I'm going to build a castle that can show Gran's said power here.

But first we're going to redevelop the land between the inner and outer walls.

On the side of the road stretching south from the central district are Gran's house, his part-time brother's house, and the pedestrian's old man's shop.

And there's room for a licensed store in that road-lined space, which makes it a free city.

Finally, refrigerated warehouses and the like are also here.

But the land is still empty.

Let's put people who want to live in this vacant space.

It's a waste of time, so let's set up a place that will be a path like the eye of the Acer board, and decide to sell it separately into a certain size of land.

Whatever it is, if I keep the building pompous, it will be possible to move in today as long as the door is ready.

Unlike the South Side, the Northeast Side decides to gather people from timber relations.

Originally, this was where the timber was gathered when the Northeast Forest was set as a protected area from the pioneering land.

There is a house inhabited by woody people.

In addition, in conjunction with charcoal making and blacksmiths, paper making and magic mushroom plantations shall also be set up.

Because it would be a lot more efficient to keep the tree-related workplace and the people working there in one place.

The West End had a vast field as it stood, growing Hatska, which served primarily as food for Valkyrie.

But I'll crush some of that field and keep it on the ground.

Sooner or later, I want to gather soldier affiliations here.

The West Gate should only be used by soldier relations, so that they can appear immediately.

But now we're not at a stage where we can have something like a standing army.

So I decided to assemble a vigilante around my father.

They are getting the job of controlling the villagers who have gotten magic and gotten on track.

So let's also build a detention center here.

I guess I'll make something like a court at last.

It's a subtle thing whether we're going to have the trial in a castle or in a court of law, but, well, if it's about the degree of misdemeanor, we can leave it to Mr. Maddock and the others in the court that makes it here.

Still, we have free land, but let's just do it with blue photos like this.

Either way, Hatsuka will also be collecting taxes as one of the taxes, and we can reduce the fields and increase the number of dwellings.

But shall we make ordinances in this land?

Let's build all the buildings using hardened bricks.

Suppose there was an army breaking in over the outer wall.

At that time, the buildings in the city will also serve to slow down the progress of that army.

If we leave the building as a robust hardened brick that obstructs its progress, can we delay the progress by another step?

That's what I thought. I quickly started rebuilding from my brother Byte's house and positioned the building around the South Side.

"Wow, kid. I've never seen a city like this before."

"What do you say? You just made it in the mood, old man."

"No, somehow, it's more amazing than the city of Fontana, this"

In the meantime, I built a hardened brick building in the South Side.

It was when I was climbing over the inner wall to see how well it was doing and looking down at the city from a slightly higher position.

The old man who happened to be nearby was accompanying me to see the sight.

Look at the castle town I'm building, and yeah, the old man's a snort next door.

Well, that would be natural, too.

I used magic such as [finishing ground] to recreate really beautiful Acer eyes on both sides of the road running straight through the South End from the Central End.

Moreover, houses of the same shape line up at equal intervals on land delimited along the eyes of its Acer board.

The house you're building is the same as mine.

We used arch structures to [store] houses with windowpanes, so we mass-produced them.

I've seen the exact same houses for sale line up before, but I wouldn't see them in this world first.

It's also just made of clean hardened bricks like marble, and it looks beautiful, so you can't tell me not to be surprised.

"This would surprise the merchants who came from around here, old man."

"... oh, I'd be surprised at that if there was one that didn't surprise me"

Thus, the building of the city progressed steadily.
