"Water, or... If you ask me, it's true."

It was when winter gradually began to come to an end and spring.

I was facing one new problem.

Or maybe I could say something that's going to be a problem.

That was brought to me by my brother, Brother Hector.

Bite brother had been dispatched with Lion around Einrad, but there were actually other dispatched members.

That was Brother Hector's contingent.

Brother Hector had the temperament to be satisfied with it if he farmed the fields and lived, and he was a different type of person from Sister Eira, a friendly but somewhat ascendant-oriented wife.

But no matter how much Brother Hector says he only wants to do farm work, the Inquirer won't wholesale it.

After all, because he's my brother.

It is also inconvenient for me that my brother, Brother Hector, who became the head of the territory called the Knights of Barca, is only plowing the fields of his parents' original home.

If you spread that word, you might see me as being unfriendly and mean to Brother Hector.

When I do, they think I'm trying to monopolize the profits on my own, even if I get the territory.

Assuming such rumors spread, they are unable to gather people because they think they are a narrow amount of people who are trying to attract a great deal of talent from an approximate land but do not want to reward them.

For that reason, even if Brother Hector doesn't want to, I have to use Brother Hector to show me his position and reward.

So I decided to have Brother Hector do the same job description as Brother Byte, who always acts shoulder to shoulder with me on the battlefield.

Most importantly, Brother Hector only dispatches to a land near Barca Knights that is unlikely to be a battle.

Unlike the part-time brothers who went out in response to Peacha's request, Brother Hector, a man who loved farming, also accepted, mainly because he went to the land that Carlos had requested, and only improved the farmland by doing [tidying up] and [soil improvement].

Blah, I have about my next experience growing crops on soil-improved land, so I can give accurate advice to farmers on that land, etc.

Brother Hector's dispatched troops were going around some land, but they seemed quite well received.

Information brought to me by Brother Hector, who looks closely at farmland that way.

That's where my magic improved the land, the crops grow abundantly, but for that matter, I wonder if they consume a lot of moisture.

"The truth is, what do you think? Kyle, could you compare the data from last year's harvest of the Knights of Barca with the expected high yield this year?

"Okay, Brother Ars.... Hmmm, you can't say anything. With more territory, yields are on the rise. I don't know if Brother Ars' magic involves the amount of water on the ground."

"Right. But it's not unlikely in the long run. If that's what Brother Hector says, you can't even ignore it."

"But you've never had a problem with Brother Ars using this magic before, have you? Then isn't it okay?

"I don't know. Maybe it's okay, maybe it's not okay. While the land is small, I'll fill it with water."

However, Hatsuka and others can be harvested in a few days on land that uses [soil improvement].

Naturally, I guess I'm sucking a lot off the ground to grow.

Soil nutrients have the strange phenomenon of magic, so [soil improvement] may be replenished enough.

but I was never even aware of what was going on with the moisture in the land.

Maybe there are things like the amount of moisture being reduced from the earth enough to keep making crops.

"What am I supposed to do? Do you even have to make magic that makes soil with a lot of moisture?

"But if you think about land nutrition, you're going to end up using [soil improvement], aren't you, Brother Ars?

"Right. Does that mean I don't know what I'm doing... Um, I can't help it. Do you want to make a dam?"

"Dam? Brother Ars, what is that?

"Eh, that's a simple artificial pond that stores water. Shall I keep the water for agriculture open from that pond? There's a river in the Barca Knights, so you can use it."

"I see, when you have a pond to store water, you can deal with it. But what do you do if it's land other than Barca? Are you going to build a dam there, too?

"No, Brother Hector's report says that the more [soil improvements] we use to harvest more frequently, the more water we can run out. I don't know if it's okay to send anyone outside Barca to the land once a year or so."

Speaking to Kyle, I was thinking about the dam.

When I say dam, I think I can make enough of it if it's primitive.

Because it doesn't make anything massive like sinking a village in a mountain to the bottom of a dam.

It is true that the history of the dam has been ancient, but it also means that it could therefore be made even by the ancients.

Might as well be a pond or something rather than say dam.

If I magically dig the ground, I'll be able to do enough.

And then there's the place, but let's see the right place downstream than where the hot springs are gushing out and build a big pond.

Shouldn't we pull it down the waterway so that it leads from there to each village and make it near the village or in a smaller pond?

So, I just got into thinking about where to build a dam.
