"Is that about it, brother Byte? Are there any more dogs left in the pit?
"... maybe. Maybe there are some of them that survive, but, well, it won't be a problem. Keep a few Baltic knights stationed once you get the mine back into operation. If the numbers are low, that should do something."
"Right. Then I guess it doesn't seem like a problem. Anyway, is this going to make iron steady and available? Good for you.... What? That's more noisy over there."
"Yeah? That's true. What's the matter with you?
Me and my Bite brother, who carried out the extermination of a demon named the dog man who nested in the mine, in the name of exorcising him.
When we left the poisoned meat near the entrance and exit of the pit, the dogs took it back and ate it throughout the herd.
It wasn't long before I got mass food poisoning in the herd.
When that happened, he just couldn't help himself with a nasty creature called the Dog Man.
A few days later, no dogs came out of the pit, and when they went inside to investigate, the dogs' bodies fell all over the place.
And after the exorcism of the dogs, he was able to remove all the corpses out of the pit.
Seeing that, we were talking about a policy to get the mine back into operation.
but that's where the slightly bothered air flowed.
I wondered what was going on, but apparently there was something still alive in the corpse of the dog man who put it out of the pit.
Maybe he was in a state of temporary death, but he breathed back.
He crawled out trying to push the other bodies out of the pile.
"Everybody back off. Just in case you're immortal, I'll deal with it."
Speak to the people who were panicking as they bothered around to see the dogs survive and let them back down.
Blah, I don't even know the conditions for the occurrence of immortals, but sometimes just in case.
Well, I don't think it's okay because the corpses around you are rotting or anything.
"K, Kwoon"
Survival coming out of the carcass of a stacked dog man.
The surrounding humans watch the movement.
When I came forward, I took the holy sword Gran Barca from the sheath on my hips and placed it in the front of my body.
Interceptable at any time if you attack me.
That's how the dogs rang in front of me.
He shook his body as if it were a weak puppy, tucked to the ground and raised his voice as if he were lying down.
Other dogs had a black pedigree fur somewhere, but only that one felt white.
A demonic dog man like a dog walking on two legs, but that figure lying on the ground also looks like a normal dog.
My whole body is covered in white hair and I have dog ears on my head.
I'm just not like a regular dog. I'm wearing clothes like lumbar minnows made from goat fur, so that made me feel different intelligence than a dog.
I'm not sure if I need clothes even though I have hair all over my body.
"Coon, Coon"
Might be surprisingly cute.
I thought so for a moment when I saw a dog man like that.
but I also don't think that would kill him or anything sooner before he does something weird.
Finished observing the surviving dog man, I slowly move and try to slash the holy sword in my hand.
but at that time, ornaments held by a dog man with a glimpse of him.
I was interested in that.
Stop the movement of the Holy Sword, which was just before you waved it down, and tell Brother Byte while maintaining the erected state.
"Bite brother. I want to find out about that survival. Can I ask you to help me catch him?
"Am I gonna let him live and catch me? All right, hold on a second. Hey, you guys, grab that guy. Don't kill me."
Bite brother calls out to the knights around him.
That's how he surrounded himself with multiple pieces, making sure he couldn't escape, and then secured the dog-man who was lying down.
"I knew it. Maybe this white dog is a different breed than the rest of the dogs."
A dog man who lived in a mine, but I crushed myself that way when I checked out the surviving white.
There is no one around.
My part-time brother and the other knights who captured the dogs with me are now heading back to investigate if the dogs' survival is in the pit.
In the meantime, I was out there checking out the dogs I caught.
And I've figured it out.
That meant that this dog man had a slightly different trait than the normal one.
That may also have something to do with the fact that the hair color is different from other dogs.
Perhaps this dog man was a different breed among his fellow dogs.
It was my idea not to be born with white hair in a mutation, but to say that a different species of white dogs existed from black dogs and that for some reason white had been mixed up in black.
And I'm probably not mistaken about that.
That has to do with this white dog man surviving.
Perhaps, this dog man was the most sublime of his companions, and the food had not been graced with satisfaction.
He was a lot thinner and smaller than a dog man who died from eating meat containing other poisons.
They make the hunted prey one of the dogs to share and eat in the flock.
It's like a white duck child.
But that led to the life and longevity of this dog man.
Because it was the last time I ate poison bait, and I saw my companion suffer and die, and I did not eat meat.
They must have been responsible for being transported with the other bodies where they were hungry and unable to move.
But this dog man caught my eye for another reason.
It was in a ornament held by a dog man.
The dog man didn't seem very smart, but he seemed to have the habit of decorating himself.
I also processed iron, etc. that I had picked up and made a simple collar, etc. to put on my neck.
And that was the same for this white dog man.
But unlike the others, the collar was not made of iron.
A collar worn by a white dog man.
It was made of silver.
But I haven't heard from Bite Brother or Payne that silver can be mined in this mine.
Maybe he processed the silver he picked up elsewhere into a collar.
but as far as pussy could tell, there was nothing silver on the collars of the other dogs.
So when I realized I was going for it, I caught a white dog man.
And after a while I checked out the dogs that woke up and found out.
That meant that this dog man could use the magic of converting iron into silver.
Thus, I succeeded in obtaining demons that could use alchemy without alchemy.
