"And that's why I'm trying to create a city of adventurers in the West. I don't know, old man?

"What's the matter, kid? What's a city of adventurers?

"So you told the old man about your exploration of the West, which made sense to prepare for a future that might eventually come, right? Perhaps the day will come when knights and nobles who want territory will seek territory in the West"

"Yeah, I did hear that, too. But from there, what do you think, adventurers?

"Right. Let me explain it again from the beginning."

Talk to my part-time brother in Balkaline, and then exchange information with the old man as well.

What I told my old man in there was about how to run the West Lands.

I'm thinking of making the West an adventurer's city.

land bordering the sea to the west, which I discovered as it stands.

There, in the kingdom of Fontana, we were able to take the pleasure of an ocean that was not in our hands.

For this reason, we collect sea delights in the west, and if we bring them here and sell them, they will all be of gemstone-like value.

We have already put in Valkyrie locally and are in the process of securing control of the land.

And this western land meant preparedness for the future, as I told Brother Byte.

Perhaps when the Kingdom of Fontana fulfills something like a heavenly unity that suppresses all noble territories.

We need to get rid of the feud in order to create a stable country.

To that end, both the Fontana army, the driving force that has achieved unity, and the need to disarm, may emerge.

When that happened, the worry that could happen was the joblessness of the military.

If we become an uncontested and peaceful world, we will no longer need the number of troops we have ever sought.

At the very least, there will be personnel to keep the peace, but the military is basically an organization of goldeaters.

I really have to move in the direction of reducing it because it costs too much to maintain.

But that's where the problem arises.

Because there are also those who have been fed by being in the army until now.

The same goes for those who seek remuneration as a territory, but naturally there will be many who are reluctant to be disarmed and lose their workplace.

Such people are dissatisfied with the country's policies and may not cause new unrest.

It meant to be prepared for it.

However, the western lands are also quite difficult to deal with.

Whatever you say, there are many demons, and they're strong.

It is also difficult to continue to expand it, even if with the help of Valkyrie we have secured the dominant area of the name Territorial.

More importantly, we needed a system to collect what we got in the west and turn it into money.

So my idea was to create an adventurer.

Adventurers are the names of the brave men who work in the West.

This is what the job description looks like for now.

At first, we fly west using the transfer magic formations we set up on the Balkaline.

And register your adventurers at the base over there.

Whoever registers as an adventurer does an adventure in the jungle or towards the sea.

And the purpose is to bring back information, or goods, in that adventure.

Whatever the information is.

For example, you may have discovered a new species of plant in the jungle, or you may have reported that it was edible.

Or you might take down a demon and have it bought at a registry based in that demon material.

Sometimes they collect sea fish and other things and make them buy them.

Set that purchase cost at a slightly higher price.

If it's demonic material or something that isn't in the kingdom of Fontana, you can definitely sell it high just to bring it back in a transfer magic formation.

Keeping the purchase price high would not hurt.

At first, the adventurer's job may be the main one within the walls made by Valkyrie.

But gradually that area of activity moves outside, and the adventure begins in a true sense.

You will be searching by hand, with no idea what sells at a high price.

"Wait a minute, kid. It's nice to create a system of doing things with that adventurer, but people get together? If it's dangerous, isn't nobody gonna do it?

"That's not true, old man. Basically, there are still many poor ones in this world. It may be decreasing in Barca, but in other lands, some are thrown out of their homes to reduce their food support. They are now being taken in by the Fontana Army, but they will take their place in this adventurous system."

"... I see. Certainly because some of them are still volunteering for the Fontana army, which should have been conscripted. I mean, those guys are looking for a job. Do you make the hope of being an adventurer glimmer as a job where you can make money?"

"That's the thing. Whether the demons are strong or not, it's important to make them think they can target a thousand bucks. If you think you might get enough money to not have to work for a few years if you bring back the material for a new kind of demon, there will be one to do it even if it's dangerous"

"Right...... You want me to make it a mechanism close to the Labyrinth City Explorers Union? But that must have been a big one to have taken something called the Demon Stone. Not only demonic materials, but digging demonic stones made them gold, so even the weak ones could continue to work as explorers."

"Right. So we need to have an alternative to picking up demon stones as the adventurer's first easy job"

"Do you have any idea?

"Oh. It's sap collection."

"Sap?"

"That's right. I named the woods stretching out to the west a jungle. Trees growing in that jungle were able to harvest saps of an unusual nature when they damaged their epidermis. Sometimes I think it's better for junior adventurers to collect it."

"... is it worth the sap you can take from the tree or something?

"Of course you are, old man. When it comes to the best harvest of this western exploration, I think it's safe to say that it was the discovery of this sap. Even so, I can't assure you that I've just started researching this by depositing it with Gran."

Adventurers are dangerous jobs but also attractive jobs with the possibility of a one-shot reversal in life.

By doing so, we may be able to get young people who are dull in the country's tsunami to work with their own hopes by heading to dangerous lands where demons sprinkle.

but no human wants to die.

Perhaps many of those who crossed west in such sweet words will not get a lot of money in reality.

So you should also have a job description for that kind of ordinary person.

It's a permanent request in the Adventurers Guild.

Even so, that's not like a goblin exorcism as in the story.

What I was going to prepare was a sap collection.

I cut a tree and made my way when I tried to retrieve the empty dragon's body in the jungle.

That's when I noticed the sap coming out of the cut tree.

And I felt like I'd seen that tree somehow before.

A plant like a cida could have been wrapped around it, but the tree whose cida is wrapped around it is probably a rubber tree.

Even so, I've only seen it once in my previous life, and I don't know if I can really make rubber out of that tree sap.

I don't know, so I'm just asking Gran to try and make some rubber for now.

If so, it would be quite appreciated.

There will be more new things you can do if you get the rubber.

Rubber that can be applied to all things.

I'm thinking of putting the job of collecting sap to make it into a safety net for the profession of adventurer.

And all the items collected by the adventurer are bought at the registry by Barca with the Transfer Magic Formation, and brought to the city of the Magic Train called Barca Line, where they are sold.

No matter how much you say you pay more to an adventurer, Barca should be far less than the amount of money you sell.

In other words, Barca gives work to the young people who head west with hope, and profits only from buying and selling the goods that they hold at their mercy.

At least I won't lose it.

Because there is no rival in the current situation.

"And that's why we're trying to create a city of adventurers in the west, don't you think, old man?

"... might be nice. Then the revenue will go up. It's also an advantage that we can make money without dealing with demons ourselves. I think it's worth a try."

Thus, I decided to create a city of adventurers to the west with the approval of my old man.

It was unfortunate to be reincarnated into another world and a promised Adventurer's Guild, but apparently it could be made with its own hands, causing nickels and laughter to spill unexpectedly.
