"Judgment"

Kyle snapped like that and activated the magic.

No, this is probably not technically magic because it's not finished as a spell yet.

Magic was used, precisely because it is a phenomenon activated using Kyle's magic.

"Defendant, Rendell, a resident of the village of Albedo. Guilty is murder. The defendant became in contention with an acquaintance in the city of Lishar, killing the other. He then killed a total of five people, even the families of the victims who were there on the spot. The death penalty shall be sought in the light of Article 3 (5) of the Fontana Charter. convicted and acquitted."

That's what Kyle said while he used his magic.

This is in a building that hits the courthouse inside Lishar, a newly built city.

There's a lot of listeners packed in there, listening to Kyle.

What is happening here now was the trial of those guilty of murder.

The investigation into the suspect has been completed, where he begs for sentence in light of the gravity of the crime.

And they're asking the people if the weight of the punishment is appropriate.

Yes, I mean, what Kyle was doing was supposed to be a trial.

Apparently, this is the secret Kyle had in mind.

Kyle decided to use the trial to govern on a land far from the kingdom of Fontana, which he had newly acquired, with no edge or itch.

The work of the lords who control the land is varied.

I'm pretty sure the most important thing is to take up taxes.

Because it is absolutely necessary to use that tax to run the territory.

But there were other important tasks.

That means you have the right to a trial.

Those who control the land need to have jurisdiction and make appropriate decisions on the various issues that have arisen in their territory.

If, hypothetically, we had a trial that was only convenient to us for those in power, or that only favoured us within our fellow lords, we would be offended by the inhabitants living in that territory.

This is surprisingly ridiculous, and there are still cases of insurgency and so on in the territory due to the failure of the trial.

And this trial can be quite troublesome when a human being coming from a land that has nothing to do with it, like Kyle, tries to control the land.

If you have ruled the land from time to time, or were in the neighborhood, you understand the interests and historical issues of the inhabitants and merchants who live there, or the knights.

It may be said that judging and sentencing such, even from past origins, in a comprehensive and composite manner, is the secret to a successful administration of justice.

Conversely, I can undoubtedly rub it first if I make a verdict solely on the decision of the Kingdom of Fontana in the Qiuzi Statutes.

To clear it up, although Kyle will execute the trial as the Reed family, final convictions, acquittals, and so on are about to be decided in the form of questioning the residents.

Of course, arrest, detention, interrogation and other acts are to be carried out as a precedent to that.

but it shows that it is in no way hurting those who live in this land by a ruthless verdict, but it is appealing to them that they are properly guilty.

I guess we're going to grab the hearts and minds of the inhabitants of this land by giving them the power of justice that the Reed family should have gotten in that way.

But this trial was not just a judicial trial.

If it's an ordinary trial I know of, I wonder if only those in this court will be able to hear Kyle's application and decide on the verdict.

but in this city of Rishar, no, not in Reed territory.

Literally, all the inhabitants really were on trial.

Still, the word [referee] that hasn't become a spell but Kyle snapped.

He said this was bound to be said during the trial due to a spell sooner or later, and from the amount of magic used, it was likely to be so-called the chief magic.

And the magical effect of this planned [referee] curse culture was to simultaneously [talk] to those connected to the Reed family's magic path.

In other words, after crushing with [referee], Kyle forcibly talks in his brain against the magical bearer of [reading].

So, he tells us what the defendant, the suspect, is guilty of and seeks sentence, and on the contrary, he tallies the convictions for guilt or innocence from those who heard it.

The result seems to be a mechanism whereby if there is a lot of guilt, the sentence is executed, and if there is no guilt, he is released.

Suddenly I thought the people who could beat the story of the trial into their heads might have accumulated, but if they were using [parallel processing], they wouldn't have to be able to get their hands off me at other jobs.

I can think of more than one thing in my head at the same time, but I have therefore heard that it is not that much of a burden to hear the contents of the trial and decide to acquit me.

Whatever you do, don't move your hands and feet, and the work ends without a single incision.

I guess there's nothing physically tiring about it.

Kyle used the military to stabilize his surroundings to some extent. After that, he spent a long time spellmaking and progressing trials on this [referee].

I guess this also affected that those who originally inhabited the land around here were able to use magic by Naja.

Kaiser Valkyrie had taken over the magic path of those who had acquired magic under the influence of Naja, and Kyle had named that Kaiser Valkyrie.

In other words, many of the inhabitants near the site of the Holy Capital were able to use the magic of the Reed family.

Therefore, this trial could be realized.

The Reed family, which placed the land on the site of the Holy Capital under its control at the request of the Blue Virgin Miriah, began to govern in a way that would never be seen elsewhere: this all-inhabitant participatory trial.

This, Kyle, seems to have referenced military conscription.

The method of forcing those living on the land to belong to the same organization to work, planting a sense of union and making them feel strongly aware that they are part of that country.

I used this to force the Fontana army to gather the young men to plant their perception as the people of the new kingdom.

but Kyle further developed it and created a stream to make all residents work to bring to justice a man called the Trial and recognize him as a member of Lead Territory.

And apparently, this operation went well.

I left the opponents of the rebellious bandits to Brother Byte, and the city and other land developments to me. Kyle kept doing this job in court all the way through the New Year's.

That's how, where the [referee] 's culture of curse succeeded, it became commonplace for those living in and around the city of Lishar to "let the people pass judgment at trial".

according to the ordained law, and judge a man.

In other words, many of the inhabitants of this land accepted to live according to the law and abide by it.

We decided to entrust our lives to the law rather than to a powerful man named the House of Lead, based on the constant pursuit of trials flowing into our minds and the legal books issued by the House of Lead.

Thus Kyle succeeded in achieving the rule of a whole new land in an unlimited and speedy manner by means of the rule of law.
