Skeleton Knight, in Another World

Coming through, one.

A vast forest located east of Diento. As the morning sun rises from far beyond and illuminates the city walls, the city awakens quietly.

An old man held his head in a room of a robust castle fortress, the castle of the Marquis of Diento, located in the heart of the city.

It was the man, the Lord of this castle, Marquis Triton du Dient, the man with the gray hair flowing behind him and the abundance of white mustaches accumulated.

"Why? I thought you were talking about releasing the two Giant Basilisks into Rubierte territory...... Wouldn't a warcraft like that have forced a lot of confusion in the realm by now?

What was drooling Triton was a report from a spy who was letting him dive into Rubierte territory, which had just arrived in the morning.

The story of a secret detective was that one was crusaded by a group of mercenaries in the stream, and that the second one, which had been witnessed, was crusaded with a hundred and fifty soldiers of the lead army. It was just a report that five members of the mercenary regiment of the scouts and streams of the leadership, sent to capture the second one, had done a great deal of damage. But I'm talking about the main unit of the leadership saying it was done with minor damage.

"Well, the Apostle of the East also said that that was still a pretty experimental attempt and that we shouldn't expect enough results with the Warcraft Apostle's hands off...... But you didn't have any luck knocking one down by a group of flowing mercenaries. If they were both at the same time, there would have been quite a lot of damage, even double the number of soldiers."

That's what the other guy with the lean, neurotic, blue-white face says and exhales, stroking his thinner head to hide it with his hair.

Sercica Dorman, consul here in Diento territory.

"I didn't know you had thirty Mithrill shields with high magic resistance..."

Triton grudges with resentment.

"And here's the report, it's bait for capturing” merchandise, "but a liaison officer in the city reported it... They can't get the bait without contact from the other arrival point. Even if it's good for this one, you won't have enough food after the next one. If you don't strike quickly, you will find it difficult to capture unless you have quite the experience of subspirits."

Triton will look even bitter when he hears Sercica's next report. There have been frequent things that haven't worked out here lately, and I seem to be getting irritated and scratching the gray hair with my own hands.

"Damn! Next to next! Their Negijo was a forest at the foot of the Kalkato Mountains. Can't you get in direct contact with them?!

"The forest over there is also long to the north and south. Until where their Negijo is... It's hard to believe it was crusaded because that's not a land where a large number of crusaders can deploy... Then a powerful warcraft descended from Mount Calcutto... and there is no place for speculation."

"Contact him again with a liaison officer in the city and tell him if the bait doesn't arrive, he'll change his business partner! Because the capture of the sub-spirits is not illegal or anything in itself!! And Sercica, find someone to deal with who can secure new bait!

"May I? They might come to threaten to give us information on some of the marching squads that are headed to King's Capital, right?

Sersica doesn't seem to feel itchy about advancing with concern on her neurotic face, or about being intimidated by one or two of the bandits for Triton.

Reject your voice absurdly.

"Hmm! Then he'll smash you to the point of bandit garbage, by the time you're skinless with the force you can have!! It's going to be good publicity for the residents because it's going to crush the bandits for real. hahahaha"

Triton shook his plethora of bellies and laughed disgustingly, telling Sercica to back off, then Sercica quietly withdrew in response.

Wake up to the morning bell and wake up on the bed of the inn.

On the blanket of the bed, Ponta sleeps buried her face in the green and white tail like her own cotton wool. Sometimes, I suppose it's even dreaming about eating something delicious that's making me hold my mouth while I ring in the back of my throat.

It only looked like a fox and it was an omnivore, but I think I prefer nuts and fruits to meat one way or another.

When you wake up the ponta, after scratching the back of your ear with your back leg, you have a slight extension (yawn) that opens your mouth wide. And when I jump on my shoulder, I jump on top of my head, which is my usual constant position from there as it is, and stick it. This cottonwool fox is racially apparently fond of heights.

With Ponta on his head, he weaves feathers from the top of his armor a large black coat that he kept nearby. I bought this because I found it in an outdoor shop in this city. I bought it because it was useful for hiding flashy armor and might be suitable for covert operations.

But the flashness of armor did disappear, but the armor helmet was full of suspicion in the black coat, and from the side, it didn't feel like Lord Vader fell on the dark side.

This is better than just doing it and looking luxurious in armor. If you're confused with the crowd, it's less obvious.

I go down to the first floor and go outside with a shout out to my father, who is making a purchase in the kitchen behind the tavern. The first floor here serves only dinner at night, so I inevitably go outside in the morning and eat what I bought at the outdoor.

There are dewstores all over the streets of the city, each with a prestigious discount. Walking in like that suddenly my armor vision is filled with cotton wool tails and I can't see the front.

I guess I found something Ponta cares about. When this happens, your gaze nails you, so as you pass in front of the object you care about, your tail blocks your sight as Ponta's gaze turns backwards.

Return the position of the ponta above your head to the dewstore at the end of that gaze of interest. Apparently, it's an outdoor store selling my favorite nuts these days.

The nuts are wrapped in a light brown shell and green nuts are visible from within the cracked shell. Looks totally pistachio.

"Ki-yun!

He asked me to buy it. Buy five pieces of copper coins from the aunt at the outdoor store and put them in a sachet. Two, when I peel three grains off my shell and do it to the ponta over my head, I chew it with joy. Even if I do every shell, I cleverly break the shell and eat it, but I'm on my head anyway, so when I crush the shell, the shell fragments descend from the top.

The last few days, I've been walking around the city with Ponta on my head.

He was checking all over the city for information on the captive elves that the elf man was smelling. I'm just wandering around without even hitting the city because it's not something I can honestly ask you about, like, if you don't know where the elves are being held captive...

Besides, if abduction and imprisonment in the country were to be illegal for the capture of elves and their selling destination, it would inevitably be the domain of the powerful in order to be expensive for both sellers and buyers.

Then the noble neighborhood near the centre near the Lord's Castle, rather than the general city, is suspicious, but it is likely to be quickly noticed in this prominent figure. Noble neighborhoods also have a large number of guards, and not as crowded as general neighborhoods.

I'm not acting out of a sense of justice. I may be careless, but I simply don't have anything to do. If it had no purpose, it could have been caged in an inn room all day long and hung out with Ponta.

I don't particularly think about finding an elf in captivity and what to do, etc. I'm using secrecy and inconspicuousness as my guiding principle for now, so if this is a situation where I can help, I hope I can help you sneak up.

If you think you've found an elf in another world because of it, you're in no mood to say you're being persecuted.

With that said, I still don't see the Beast Man, but does he exist in this world? From the mouth of the elf, I kind of can't stop thinking that even if he was there, he would be persecuted just like the elf...

Walking around thinking about that, I had come to the mercenary union office at some point. It's been a few days, but it's been a while.

Running through the city any further would not yield significant results. I thought it would be the first time in a long time that I would even look at the requisition card, and enter the union office.

In front of the requisition board, you can see a mercenary choosing a requisition card. I go in front of it myself and look around at the bills asking if it's not even some interesting request.

I can't help but notice one request there. Looking for people.

The contents are a search request for someone who hasn't returned after five days in the forest upstream of the Rydell River.

The forest upstream of the Rydell River is a forest that stretches out at the foot of the Wind Dragon Mountains, commonly known as the Wind Dragon Forest. The forest near Rata village was the same wind dragon forest. The forest at the foot of the Wind Dragon Mountains, which can be seen northeast of here, seems to be quite vast.

However, from the opposite bank of the Rydell River, at the foot of the same Wind Dragon Mountains, the name of the forest changes. The "Elf Forest” fork is the "Lost Forest." That's what people say, and even more vast woods are spreading.

The story was that the mighty warcraft would tread and not only if the elves who lived there found them.

But I'm not willing to take this request right now.

If you take a request like this, it won't be completed until you find it, or unless you bring something that can confirm your life or death. I put these requests in the corner of my head when I was receiving other requests, etc., and I heard a skilled mercenary teaching a new mercenary that if there was any harvest, the report would finally be basic to the union office.

Imitate it yourself, and be careful in the sequence of your exploration upstream of the river.

Exit the union office and head to the East Gate closest to the Wind Dragon Forest. Unlike the North Gate and the South Gate, which are commonly used by street vendors, these gates are small enough to be wide enough for a carriage. Besides, the pleasure streets of the city are spread around the East Gate, the roads are not very wide, and there are many suspicious alley shops. There aren't that many people in the daytime, but as the sun goes down, the women call out to the men on the road and pull them into the store.

I want to avoid any trouble, so this is where I try not to get too close to here in the evening.

Besides, one of the reasons why I came here is that I don't have anything I can do with my current body...

Leaving the East Gate, walk upstream along the Rydell River, visible on your right, passing through the city outside the city walls and across two wooden bridges handed over to dig. A forest of wind dragons is looming on the east side, and as soon as it's about twenty kilometers away, it's a forest. [Dimensional Walking Method (Dimension Move)] will take less than five minutes.

When I go into the woods, I feel the ponta above my head happily waving its tail over my armor.

Is the light grassy green hair still a pseudonym for living in the woods? If there were any other cotton foxes in this forest than Ponta, this guy would probably go back to the herd, even though I'm a little lonely.

It's not very dark in the woods and you can see it to the back for a percentage, but the length of the sesame grass is long and the feet are not very visible. On the right hand side is a chopped cliff, under which you can hear the water running down the Rydell River echoing through the woods. The wind that blew through the birds was shaking the leaves of the trees, creating a great space for healing. Neither does the Warcraft, feared by men, see him in particular.

As you go upstream in a hiking mood enjoying the leaking days and water sounds, you can see brown furry backs peeking from the weeds behind the woods.

"Kee-yu......"

Ponta rings in a pitiful voice and comes down from above her head, wrapping her body around her neck muscles so that she can hide behind her neck. From the side, she looks like an aunt somewhere with a fox collar roll.

The moving fur is quite large, and there are bears. Sometimes the sound of chewing something up is echoing around. You accidentally noticed this sign, the brown bear stood up on its rear leg.

But the stood up bear was completely different from the one I knew well.

His body was like a bear, but his head was a wolf. Moreover, the ears are elongated and shaped like Roba's ears. With those long ears patterned, I stare at this one, peeling out the mouth dripping with blood and roaring out. Am I concerned about being interrupted in my diet?

When he sounds a cool metal sound and pulls out his hips sword, his opponent's bear wolf slowly sees him approaching with four legs as he gazes at this one and measures the intermission.

Leading Must Win!

When the [Dimensional Walking Method (Dimensional Move)] is transferred to the side of the bear wolf, the sword that was erected is pushed from side to side into the abdomen at once. and instantly move to another location. It's such a sure special blow that you don't have to try any of your other tactical skills separately.

"Gahhhhhhhh!!!

You suddenly lose sight of your prey and are stunned that you feel sharp pain, you go semi-frequent and wield your front leg to tears. But every time I rumble around, there's blood spilling out of my stabbed belly. This one just takes a good enough distance from the rumbling bear wolf to watch, and then just waits for it to weaken on its own.

After enough time, the Bear Wolf stopped breathing and squatted (groaning). There is still breath, but there will be no more power left to attack the others.

Ignoring the Bear Wolf, when he transferred earlier, he headed to the spot where he saw things for a moment. In the slightly open part of the bamboo, the object that the bear wolf would have eaten earlier had been rolled there.

I was stranded everywhere, my bones were chewed up and my prototype was damaged a lot, but I immediately saw and understood its characteristics.

What was rolling into the place was human.

But that meat mass that was once a human does not come with what is most necessary to identify the individual. Looking for the surrounding pigeons, Ponta, revitalized by the sinking of the bear wolf, sounds from his usual constant position.

"Keewoon!

As Ponta explored the gaze ahead of him, he found the human head rolling. This one is still not badly damaged and I can distinguish clearly between my lifetime face. I just don't know if this is the missing person that was written on the request form.

Besides, I just don't want to bring my neck back. In the meantime, I'm going to have to ask the union for information to see who they are, so I'm going to crush them. So I remember the odd hook.

It has a pretty neck section. If wildlife attacked you and cut you a thousand pieces, you wouldn't be cut so beautifully. Or is there a warcraft that can slash your neck clean off?

Is the most likely circumstance that a bandit attacked and killed you? No weapons, no luggage, nothing has fallen on my body or around my head right now. There will be no such thing as going out with your bare hands into a dangerous forest.

Then is it also the bandit's Negijo nearby? I looked around trying to find the area for now, and I saw blood on the weed from rolling over. The blood is already hardened and discolored black, but it continues as if to leave a signpost in the woods.

Follow it and you'll go out on the banks of the Rydell River. Blood stains also follow on rocks and river gravel that roll to the edge of the river with dust. This place has a wide river width and shallow water depth upstream. Apparently, he crossed the river and fled from over here.

Across the river is a forest of elves. Was that done to you by an elf? But I don't really think the elves live out of the woods just across the river. This is too close to a forest where people come and go, thinking about it is the outer periphery of an elf forest where people rarely enter, and if elves find it difficult, it could be a hideout for bandits to dress up in.

"Hmm, you want to scout a little? Ponta."

"Ki-yun!
