Skeleton Knight, in Another World

A moment at Castle Fort

On that day two rooms were divided into separate quarters set up on the grounds of Castle Fort Hill as rooms for themselves, Ariane and Chiyome, named as escorts.

The interior is usually full of killer landscapes, such as interiors, due to the fact that only good soldiers and officers use it.

A sleeping table with two simple constructions placed indoors, the sleeping table screamed as he lowered his hips with his armor on top of it, but ignored it and fell down with great stretch.

I was also called myself and Arian and others to dinner seats at Castle Fort Hill, but for once this one is like a mercenary hired as a princess's escort, so I turned it back and declined to give priority to interacting with those serving at Castle Fort.

Although I was very interested in the dishes served to the royal princess, not to mention the fortifications on the front line, for the reason that I wanted to avoid waking up in the realm of the people in the unlikely event of a hiding place.

For that reason, dinner will be served in the room this evening, and the meals served by the Castle Fort are now lined up on the table.

The long bucket-shaped bread smells like fresh baked wheat. It was lined with some vegetables and beans stewed soup, and then grilled boned thigh, not sure what kind of meat it was.

I would have imagined something more qualitative if it were a dish to leave at Castle Fort, but that is an unexpectedly betrayed outfit.

According to the story of those who have carried meals, the city is being built, although small, with soldiers gathered outside the castle fort to start business with them, and plots of cultivated land and so on are being developed around it.

Thanks in part to this, the fort is supplied with relatively fresh vegetables and bread made from wheat harvested in the vicinity.

"You've got a pretty normal dish coming out, like the servant said, the ingredients seem to be plentiful."

With that said, Arian exposed his characteristic pointy ear as he took off his coat, chopping a long bucket and carrying it to his mouth while watching the table cook for a word, whining his thoughts.

The chiyome, nodding to it and returning it, was biting on the boned thigh.

"Sounds like it. I don't know much about the geography around here, and I don't know much about the Blade Heart clan."

That's what Chiyome said, taking his mouth off the thigh that was chewing on him.

Count Dimo's territory appears to have taken possession of the peninsula that stretched out into the South Central Sea, and since the invasion of the Kingdom of Salma by Blanier, which was originally Northern Kingdom territory, a great wall has been erected to defend the peninsula.

It is another benefit of reducing the number of warcraft in the peninsula, and it seems that the cultivated land has become easier to exploit than in the country to the north.

But the great wall hasn't completely sealed off the peninsula.

Asking the man who came to serve why, he looked at Arian with a glimpse, but explained why.

At the base of the peninsula, on the western side of the land, there is an expanse of Luang forests inhabited by the Elves, and sometimes they do not interfere with each other on the Count and Elf sides, so they cannot build the walls in the woods.

When the Kingdom of Salma tries to cross the forest of Luang into Count territory, it inevitably becomes hostile to the Elves, and for that reason Lord Blanier on Salma's side, who does not want the Earl and the Elves to bond, seems to have no hand in the forest of Luang.

Because of this, a warcraft enters the peninsula from the forest of Luang, so even though it is easier to explore than in the country, the city usually also needs a wall that prevents warcraft from entering.

Then I thought I shouldn't have set up a wall to surround the forest by avoiding the forest of Luang, but it doesn't seem that easy.

The relatively shallow areas of the forest are often used by nearby residents, and the forests of Luang are long to the north and south, so if they are the walls that surround them, they need to build walls that are more than double the distance they have already been built.

In that case, the money alone to build the walls is likely to oppress the Count's finances.

After listening to some geography, surrounding circumstances, etc., I locked myself from the inside in anticipation of the departure of the supplicant, and finally got to my dining table myself.

"Ki-yun!

Ponta is in a different position by flattening the soup set that has already been broken up.

"Well, I ran into a strange example of the undead early on..."

Cut out the story and take off your helmet. Because my body has not yet returned to the skeleton thanks to the power of the Spirit Springs, I was struck by a strangely hungry feeling with the dishes lined up at the table in front of me.

For now, divide the thighs into a thousand pieces for the ponta you are urging around the plate at your feet.

Feeling their gaze gather, they turned to Chiyome.

"I'd like to ask Lord Chiyome, the thief who entered the treasure trove that the Guardian Knight, Lord Zahar, said..."

"I'm pretty sure you're Brother Sasquatch"

Chiyome replied earlier so as to affirm the predictions he had made.

"I heard that too, but the only thing that was witnessed was the Beast Clan, right?

Ariane expressed her natural doubts about Chiyome's words, which she unequivocally affirmed, so she expressed her willingness to agree with it, too, in the first place.

"Um, I also heard that the thief easily broke into and escaped from the treasure trove under strict vigilance, and in addition to his high physical abilities, I thought it was likely that the Blade Heart (Jinsin) clan would be from infiltration, but there seemed to be no certainty as to whether it was Lord Sasquatch"

To that own opinion, Chiyome gently shakes his neck sideways by releasing the thigh that was biting from his mouth.

"I heard the thief entered the treasure trove and left without stealing anything. This is what Hanzoo told me, that Brother Sasquatch was following the spiritual crystal of the deed that his clan had lost."

When I heard the name, I remembered the “company" of my ancestors' Negijo, the diamond-shaped jewel that emitted the rainbow glow that Chiyome found there, before he passed through the cave in the dragon's jar.

It was a magic prop brought into this world by the first Hanzo of the clan, with which he signed with the Spirit to take it into his body, a substitute for powerful spiritual magic that could be manipulated even by those who were beast races of low magical aptitude.

Although they seem to be practicing their spiritual magic in the form of "ninja", each of them, who is given the name of six ninjas, like Chiyome, says that they have the "spiritual crystal of the deed" in their bodies.

"Lord Chiyome told me about it at the company. Surely there were ten of those brought in by the first Hanzo, and now there are nine in the hands of the clan?

Asking Chiyome as she dug up her memory, she nodded small and gave it back.

"I think Brother Sasquatch got some information and infiltrated the treasure trove of the Northern Kingdom. But if you would have trusted the word of Lord Zahar, the Spirit Crystal of Deeds would not have been there."

Listening to Chiyome's guess, I dip the bread in the soup and throw it into my mouth with the flavor creeping in.

Slightly hardened bread softens and is easy to eat.

"Cheng Cheng, but it wasn't even that long before Lord Sasuke broke into the treasure trove. Then there's not much room for Lord Sasquatch to show up on the southern continent."

To that extent, Arian, who had reached the table seat and stood silently listening, rocked slightly up and down the tip of its pointy ear.

"So he got some clue in that treasure trove in the Northern kingdom and thought something was going on up there?

"Yes, there is no place for speculation..."

To Arian's words, he nods back and stops the hand of Chiyome's meal.

The conversation between the two stopped. There, now I let myself present my plans for the future.

"So if we're looking for clues, we'll have to go into the treasure trove of the Northern kingdom and see?

Two gazes are directed this way at one's own opinion.

"... infiltrating like a sasquatch?

Arian tilted his neck and raised such an inquiry, but he accepted how much [Dimensional Walking Method (Dimensional Move)] metamagic makes it easier to infiltrate, and in case of exposing it, it would be troublesome later.

There is a way to be more certain than that.

"No, that princess Lille is supposed to bring reinforcements back to rescue Soulia, the king's capital. Then why don't we just take a ride and wish for company? I think there's a good chance I can get into the treasure trove if I want to."

Arian wrinkled between her eyebrows, arming herself to hold her own big breasts to such an opinion.

"Sure, that's more certain... Does it feel like the King's Capital that Lil's on his way to?

You imagined what she called a tadient, and Chiyome reacts slightly.

We have yet to tell ourselves the details of what the situation is like in Soulia, the king's capital. Perhaps it was not a good idea to reveal the circumstances of those hired in the form of escorts to Keane, Count Dimo's territorial capital, and not too familiar with other races.

Still, some extrapolation can be made from the end of their conversation.

Now the King's capital of the Northern kingdom is under attack from many immortals (undead), including that alien creature, the Spider-Man.

But if we are to examine the treasure trove in the king's capital, the city needs to be alive and well.

It is suspicious if the treasure trove will be safe if the whole city turns into a battlefield like a tadient and the firemen will rise from everywhere.

"Tomorrow, after heading to the Lordship, we'll have to negotiate with Princess Lil so she can manage to dive into the reinforcements. If the King's capital falls and the treasure trove burns down, you may lose the clue of Lord Sasquatch."

"Right."

Ariane nods and agrees with her opinion.

But beside it, there was one Chiyome, with a difficult face, and his gaze turned this way.

"What do you think? I don't know if Count Dimmo will fulfill the Princess's request and march reinforcements to the King's Capital, or it will be tomorrow."

Ariane twisted her neck to Chiyome's words telling her that.

"Wangdu is the heart of the land, isn't it? If the city you belong to is in crisis, we'll send for rescue, right?

Myself and Chiyome looked each other in the face at Arian, who said it beforehand.

From the peer-conscious elf girlfriend, it seems more strange why she has the option not to go to the rescue of her countrymen.

But she forgets...

"If the Royal Family of Counts Dimo and Princess Lille had the same certainty between the Great Canadian Forest and the Luan Forest as they call it in the Elves, wouldn't it be understandable? Lord Arian would have been unhappy to have sent a rescue team from Canada on the ship to go, wouldn't he?

With that said, she looked complicated and mumbled.

"... Hmm, so-so"

"We should head to Keane, the capital, tomorrow, and think about the future. Either way, we're going to be heading for the capital of the kingdom of Northern."

If Princess Lil can't seem to accompany us, we won't know the exact location of the King's capital. We'll break a little bone ourselves, but we have no choice at this time.

"Ki-yun! Kiyun!"

When I dropped my gaze at Ponta, who I thought was motivated and cheerful at my feet, I was just pushing the empty plate out with my nose tip and demanding further substitution.

"You're as always everywhere..."

I stroked the blocky head of such a ponta.
