Chapter 583: Spoiling You, My Dear Wife
After a long period, Evelyn was tired and hungry.
She initially had no appetite, but at the moment, she felt like she could eat a whole cow.
"Honey, could you bring up the food for me?" Evelyn said in a coquettish tone, "I’m so hungry!"
"Haven’t fed you enough yet?" Caden held Evelyn’s soft red lips, speaking vaguely, "I can keep going."
"No way!" Evelyn was already exhausted, "I want to eat! If I don’t eat soon, I think I’m going to faint from hunger!"
"Little greedy cat." Caden tapped Evelyn’s little nose, "Who allows you to boss me around like this?"
"Honey." Evelyn blinked her amber-colored eyes, looking particularly adorable, "Pamper me a bit more, it would help maintain the harmony of our home!"
Caden shook his head helplessly; as time went on with Evelyn, she completely knew how to make him compromise.
Alright!
For the harmony of the home, and so that this little greedy cat of his wouldn’t starve, he’d go and bring up the food for her now.
Watching Caden’s back, Evelyn felt immense satisfaction within her heart.
Bossing around a man who only knows how to boss others, it’s actually an immensely fulfilling thing!
With a happy smile on her lips, Evelyn snuggled in the quilt and put on her pajamas.
Right now, all she wanted was to eat, and to sleep.
As for Julian Keaton being just a big brother.
Evelyn sighed deeply.
If it should be forgotten, then let it be forgotten!
After dinner, Evelyn looked at the dishes she had cleared away, she patted her belly contentedly and said, "Aunt May’s cooking is really getting tastier and tastier!"
"Really?" Caden raised an eyebrow, "Better than what I make?"
Evelyn was taken aback, recalling the time Caden made cola chicken wings for her.
"You dare say that!" Evelyn couldn’t help but tease, "Making cola chicken wings, do you know how much food you wasted? Such a simple dish, and it took you a whole evening! I’m really impressed!"
Caden’s dark eyes narrowed, his cold gaze flew towards Evelyn, urging her to be sensible.
This mighty, prestigious man, when had he ever entered the kitchen?
It was for her that he cooked for the first time, and yet she complained?
Such an ungrateful silly woman!
Seeing Caden’s darkened face, Evelyn laughed even more joyfully.
She said with a laugh, "Honey, then when will you cook for me again? I want your cola chicken wings tomorrow."
"No way!" Caden spat out coldly, "But for the prickly pear sofa you bought, suddenly I’d like to try it with you."
"Me?" Evelyn shook her head, "I won’t try it! I haven’t done anything wrong, why should I sit on it."
"Silly wife." Caden stifled a mischievous laugh, "Who said the prickly pear sofa is for punishment?"
Listening to the deeper meaning in Caden’s tone, Evelyn was quite puzzled.
Evelyn couldn’t help but ask, "Then... what’s it for?"
Her big eyes sparkled with confusion, making her look even more bewildered and adorable.
Caden’s smile deepened, a laugh rumbled from his chest, sounded immensely delightful, sweeping people off their feet.
Evelyn could easily invoke his desire to laugh, as well as his desire to devour her.
Leaning closer to Evelyn’s ear, Caden murmured, "That thing is not for punishing people at all; it’s... used to enhance the fun between a man and a woman."
