2- yes, I integrate somehow, logically obvious, to the digimon system.

3- no.

4.- yes, combine option A and B

end of the note.

They were alone.

There wasn’t another soul inside the train.

Which was impossible.

Considering how crowded the station had been only moments ago, there was no way they could be the only two passengers.

There was something else, too.

When Takuya looked through the window, he didn’t see the city anymore.

Instead, countless flashes of light streaked past the train, as though they were traveling through a vortex rather than any real location.

The moment he noticed that, Takuya transformed into Agnimon.

The sudden transformation startled Pumpkinmon.

"You were a Digimon all along? No wonder you knew about the Digital World! You could’ve told me before!" Pumpkinmon exclaimed.

"Well... something like that," Takuya replied with an awkward smile. "Besides, you never asked."

He walked alongside Pumpkinmon through the train car, his eyes constantly scanning their surroundings.

His guard remained up.

There was no chance he was lowering it in an unfamiliar place.

Not again, not after the numemon in the bathroom.

A few moments later, the scenery outside changed.

The lights disappeared.

In their place stretched an endless sea of green.

A forest.

The train was traveling through a lush woodland filled with colorful flowers. Crystal-clear streams crossed the landscape, and in one of them, Takuya spotted a lone Unimon peacefully drinking water.

The scene was almost... idyllic.

Takuya stared through the window.

"We’re here..."

For the first time...

He had entered the Digital World of his own free will.

He looked at Pumpkinmon.

Pumpkinmon looked back.

The two of them broke into wide grins before laughing.

"Bro..."

"We’re actually here."

They high-fived, both unable to hide their excitement.

The first step of their mission had been a complete success.

...How had I never tried this before?

Then again...

It was such a ridiculous method.

All he had done was board the train while wishing to reach the Digital World.

There hadn’t been any activation, no ritual, no use of the D-Scan...

Nothing.

"I guess... a little mystery is necessary," Takuya muttered.

He turned toward Pumpkinmon.

"Do you know where we are? Which part of the Digital World is this?"

They still had to find where Phantomon was living before they could make any sort of plan.

Pumpkinmon looked out the window for a moment before answering.

"We’re still pretty far away."

"How far?"

"About... five to six days on foot."

Takuya’s smile twitched.

"...six days?"

Pumpkinmon simply nodded.

Soon, a station came into view.

It looked like this was where they were supposed to get off.

As the train slowed to a stop, Takuya finally had the chance to properly examine it.

His eyes immediately lit up.

It really was a Trailmon.

The same brown Trailmon from Frontier, complete with its enormous front teeth.

For a moment, Takuya completely forgot himself and stared at it like an excited fanboy.

As Trailmon looked toward him, Takuya’s grin only grew wider.

"Thank you for bringing us here."

Trailmon let out a cheerful hum in response before smiling back.

A second later, with the familiar chugging sound of a locomotive, it pulled away from the station and disappeared into the distance.

""That was awesome! I’d never traveled on a Trailmon before!" Takuya exclaimed.

"Neither had I," Pumpkinmon replied. "But... wasn’t it basically the same as riding a normal train in your world?"

"Of course it wasn’t! It was completely different!" Takuya answered without taking his eyes off the departing Trailmon.

Pumpkinmon laughed.n"You’re a nice guy... but sometimes you’re even weirder than I am. Now, let’s go!"

"Time to head home and kick some bad Digimon ass!"

Pumpkinmon shouted as he hopped forward with an exaggerated jump that looked suspiciously similar to Mario’s from Super Mario Bros.

"Hahaha... alright, let’s go." laughed takuya

The two of them began walking through the forest. A few Digimon noticed them before immediately fleeing deeper into the woods.

"They can’t talk?" Takuya asked as he watched them run away.

The Digimon were Elekmon.

They looked. Like a cross between a rabbit and a dog.

It was an odd combination, but somehow it worked.

"Hmm... I don’t think that’s it," Pumpkinmon replied. "Not every animal in your world talks either, right? It’s the same here. Most Digimon can speak once they reach the Adult or Perfect stage... but some simply choose not to."

"Choose not to?" Takuya repeated.

"Yeah. Digimon like Tyrannomon or Kuwagamon. They’re naturally savage. They can speak, and they’re intelligent enough to hold conversations... they just don’t care."

"So... does that mean the incoming Kuwagamon won’t bother talking to us even if we try?"

Takuya casually pointed ahead.

Sure enough...

A Kuwagamon was flying straight toward them.

"Yep," Pumpkinmon answered with a shrug. "He probably thinks he can beat us. Even among Digimon that can talk, not everyone is particularly smart."

"I see."

The moment Kuwagamon entered range, Takuya raised a hand.

"Burning Salamander!"

A torrent of flames shot forward.

He didn’t even bother looking at the result.

There was no need.

Instead, he glanced at the D-Scan as it displayed a new notification.

193 MB acquired.

That was a lot of data for an Adult-level Digimon.

Digimon really did provide far more data than the monsters from Gates.

Well...

It made sense.

Unlike monsters, whose corpses remained behind sometimes and had biological nature, a defeated Digimon dissolved entirely into data.

And his D-Scan could absorb every last bit of it.

Takuya and Pumpkinmon continued traveling for the rest of the day.

For a situation like this, Takuya had packed an absurd amount of food. He had no idea how long they would end up staying in the Digital World, especially considering how dangerous this journey could become, his whole inventory was full of food.

After all...

The adventure they had chosen revolved around confronting nothing but Perfect-level Digimon.

As they continued through the forest, another Digimon appeared in their path.

A Fangmon.

The easiest way to describe it was as a skinny, crimson canine with a mouth so oversized that it seemed to take up nearly half its body.

Takuya was about to step forward.

It was obvious the Digimon intended to attack.

Before he could move, however, Pumpkinmon held out an arm to stop him.

"My turn."

Takuya simply shrugged and stepped aside.

"Go ahead."

Pumpkinmon dashed forward and delivered a powerful kick straight into Fangmon’s lower jaw.

Considering how enormous its mouth was, it was an easy target.

The blow launched Fangmon into the air.

Then Pumpkinmon jumped after it.

He raised one hand...

And, out of nowhere, a gigantic pumpkin materialized above him.

Takuya’s eyes widened.

The thing was the size of an entire house.

The massive pumpkin came crashing down onto Fangmon with overwhelming force.

BOOM!

The ground cracked beneath the impact, and Fangmon’s body dissolved into streams of data.

At the same moment, the D-Scan displayed the result.

The data had been split equally.

Half went to Takuya.

The other half...

To Pumpkinmon.

Looks like I only receive half the data when someone else lands the killing blow.

Interesting.

Apparently, he wasn’t the only one capable of absorbing data.

"Well... better than nothing, I guess," Takuya muttered.

Then he raised his voice.

"Hey! Couldn’t you have taken him down a little more quietly?"

Pumpkinmon nearly doubled over laughing.

"Pfft... says the guy who lights up the entire sky every time he attacks!"

"...Fair enough."

Takuya scratched the back of his head.

"In my defense, the last time I didn’t go all out from the start, I ended up fighting a Perfect-level Digimon or so I tought, he was an adult but a strong one. I still won, but the battle would’ve been much easier if I’d finished it immediately."

Pumpkinmon burst into another fit of laughter.

"Pfft! Rookie mistake!"

"You never know how much data the other guy has been saving up."

For some reason, that thought amused Pumpkinmon so much that he dropped onto the ground, clutching his stomach as he laughed uncontrollably.

"Okay, okay. Let’s get going, Halloween. We still have to reach your home," Takuya said.

Pumpkinmon stopped in his tracks and tilted his head.

"Halloween? Who’s that?"

"You."

"Now come on."

"Meee?" Pumpkinmon pointed at himself before grinning. "In that case... you’re Fireboy."

"I already have a name. It’s Takuya."

"And mine is Pumpkinmon," the Digimon replied proudly.

"That’s like me introducing myself as Human."

"...That’s not..."

Pumpkinmon paused, genuinely thinking about it as they continued walking.

"Halloween, It doesn’t sound bad. " He nodded to himself. "Okay! From now on, I’m Halloween, the noblest of all pumpkins!" the Digimon declared dramatically.

Takuya couldn’t help but laugh. "Hahaha! What kind of title is that? It doesn’t even make sense."

"It does! Now let’s go, Takuya!" Halloween skipped ahead cheerfully.

Sometimes. He really looked more like a child than a Perfect-level Digimon. As they continued their journey, Takuya learned several interesting things.

First...

His D-Scan was a complete cheat in the evolution sense.

According to Halloween, ordinary Digimon only absorbed a fraction of the data from defeated opponents. That was why many Digimon relied on other sources of growth, such as Metal Data, environmental data, combat experience, or countless other forms of accumulated information.

Simply hunting other Digimon was rarely enough to evolve.

There were exceptions, of course.

Some Digimon devoted their entire lives to evolution and gathered data obsessively, but most had to combine many different methods.

Evolution, in reality, was far more complex than the D-Scan suggested.

Then again...

Digivices had always been something of a cheat.

The second thing he learned was that the Digital World truly functioned as a living ecosystem.

There was balance.

It wasn’t a world where every Digimon slaughtered each other on sight.

Nor did every intelligent Digimon live inside villages.

Some preferred to wander alone, living quiet lives in the wilderness.

One day, while traveling, they crossed paths with an Armadillomon.

The Digimon simply nodded politely as it walked past them before continuing on its way.

For a brief moment, Takuya felt the temptation to attack.

It would be easy.

More data.

More progress.

But...

The longer he traveled with Halloween...

The more he understood this world.

The less willing he became to kill indiscriminately.

Foolish?

Maybe but didn’t matter.

Takuya and Halloween kept walking for days, stopping only to rest when necessary. Eventually, they reached a small mountain covered in lush greenery, as though it were simply an extension of the surrounding forest. Halloween suddenly lowered his stance and motioned for Takuya to follow him toward a cave at the mountain’s base.

"On the other side is my town," Halloween whispered. "We need to be careful."

The two entered the cave, but it hardly looked like a natural cavern. Instead, it resembled an abandoned shopping mall corridor. The walls were lined with cracked ceramic tiles, the floor was uneven beneath layers of dirt, and whatever lights had once illuminated the place had long since gone dark.

Together, they navigated the winding passage until daylight appeared ahead. Stepping out of the tunnel, Takuya froze.

Before them stood what was, unmistakably, a commercial district in the middle of a forest.

Shops, streets, signs, and buildings rose among the trees as if the city had simply grown around nature instead of replacing it.

Truly...

Digimon logic.
