The easiest place for our horseback riding nation to fight is the plains.

We gathered at a place where we would ambush it when we heard the troops of the Chow Empire approaching.

I see the troops of the Chow Empire approaching. Less. Overwhelmingly less.

Not even 10,000, 5,000? Or that's all there is.

"Clo, sie, argo, zun... etc. Play him."

The chief of the Au tribe raised the names of several tribes.

All the tribes that haven't been remarkably active in the battle yet.

I guess I assumed the 5,000 or so troops didn't need all the help they could get.

An army of 25,000 warriors, fighters and slaves moves forward.

This time I'm a sight to behold.

The enemy uses his shield to advance the rain of this arrow.

Different level of practice from previous enemies.

A warrior moves forward and rides, but soon a great shield comes forward and prevents it, and it becomes a riot.

A big man at the forefront of the enemy is swinging his long stuff lavishly blowing this warrior away.

Pushed to number, but each enemy's arms are no worse than those of this warrior.

"Retreat."

I hear voices louded by the magic of the wind.

Enemy troops retreat in dignity.

Weird...

The enemy's retreat is too grand. Those who were fighting saw enemies who were confident of winning and retreating.

Looking over the battlefield, there are obviously few bodies.

I thought I was pushing, but obviously there are more corpses here.

The surrounding villages go further south because they have already been looted.

It's time to plug into the Great River.

We need a boat to cross the Great River. We've already got the food we need, so if we get to the Great River, we'll go home.

That's what I thought.

A surprising report comes when a scout warrior returns.

There is little water in the Great River.

If you go forward and go to the Great River, there is certainly not much water flowing.

Even if one fighter tries to get to the middle, there's only water under his knees.

We were supposed to have a meeting once we were off the river.

Will it go any further south or not?

The discussion intensified, but it was divided into a majority that insisted on returning because they already had enough food, and a minority that insisted on getting more food and bringing the woman back just a little.

It's almost decisive to go south because Au, Ag and Siu claim further south, our chief is in to return.

Discussions continued in the meantime as we had to wait about 10 days to collect a carriage to send food.

A few days after the meeting started.

I was down the river by myself.

I found one cabin there. There were a number of small boats lined up around the cabin.

There's no sign of anybody, so I'm guessing we got away with getting close.

I'll get to the cabin.

Perhaps this cabin was also the base of the person who was boating in the Great River.

I look over the ship. There was one thing in it that bothered me.

There was a cockroach on the bottom of the ship.

I went down from the horse concerned and touched the cock. There were still numeries and water and air.

I was convinced that this ship would be used until then.

I hurried across the cake to the rendezvous point and headed under the chief.

"Chieftain"

"Oh, my God, Jumka."

"Let me join you in today's meeting."

The council of chiefs is a meeting in which chiefs and chiefs participate, but the Great Warriors are entitled to participate with the permission of the chief.

"What's up?

"I found a boat sailing downstream of the Great River, but until recently there were signs of its use, maybe it's an enemy trap that has less water in the Great River"

The chief came up with his hand on his chin.

"Mmm, a trap... but, hmm, it would be nice to accompany you to today's meeting"

"Thank you.

At the council of chiefs I sat behind the chief.

"Longa's, is that the successor behind it?

I'm still the youngest on this scene at 17. So floats in a place full of chiefs, chiefs, and warriors.

If there is, it means putting a successor in order to get used to the atmosphere of the Council of Chiefs.

There are a lot of guys in the meadow who know my name, but few know my face.

I guess I'm not known because the Great Warrior I was in during the bow fight didn't have a leading class either.

"Oh, this guy is Jumka, he'll be famous for his two arrows Jumka. This guy's already a great warrior, and I don't have any complaints about him being here.

Everyone stared at me in the introduction to the chief.

Many tribes originally had better have one warrior in each tribe, with no great warriors and only chiefs attending meetings.

In a sense, a great warrior can have more say than a chief of a weak tribe.

The meeting began and the debate began.

The debate was no longer in a state of invasion or caution across the Great River at once.

"Do you have a minute? Today, Jumka discovered something downstream of the Great River.

The sight of the others focuses on me in what the chief said.

I stood up and told him about the ship I found downstream of the Great River.

I was wondering if it was a trap that the ship was used until recently, and possibly that the Great River has less water.

"Ridiculous. It's impossible for a water wizard to gather more than 300,000 people to move water from the Great River elsewhere."

Speaking laughing as the chief of the Ag tribe made a mockery of him.

Other chiefs are nodding with bitter laughter.

Wizard, it is about a person who not only can use that magic, but the second magic is also as powerful as a normal person.

The opinion is correct that it would not be possible to transfer water from the Great River elsewhere without gathering 300,000 people.

But that's if you use the magic of water.

"But if there are 10,000 to 20,000 people who can use the magic of the earth, they can stop the Great River?

"... it's possible indeed, but who would do that? Silly."

"But if you can, I think you should let the scouts go upstream and find out.

"You don't have to do that for nothing.

Ag clan chiefs absurd their voices.

When me and the Ag clan chiefs are hanging around, the sound of a pasin and a whip for a horse rings the ground.

"Ag's... by then,"

It was the chief of the Au tribe who whipped him.

"Young man's theory of aggressiveness, skilled man's theory of prudence cannot be crushed... young man's theory of prudence... OK, Jumka"

"Yes."

"The next battle, there will be Chow's army ahead of us across the Great River. Captain you in that battle.

The air in the field turns to surprise.

"Same goes for my place, but this guy is very popular with young guys. Let every tribe gather 15-7 fighters under Jumka... no, 17 guys are optional, you will not cross the Great River to escort the wagon carriage. Even if the enemy has a trap, it won't take the carriage away from him, and if it doesn't, you can kick the enemy and slowly come across the Great River.

"Mmm, that's good"

"Sure, that's fine."

"Whatever happens, food is protected, and without it, Au's chief wisdom is a boulder."

One after the other, the chiefs agree.

And I was stared at by the chief of the Au tribe. He had an eyesight there that would not allow him to refuse.

"Okay.

I nodded honestly.

3 days later

He crossed the Great River and began further aggression against the Chow Empire.

"Brother, it looks like you've finished your work using dirt magic upstream of the Great River."

"Well, then, I will leave here the 1000 Soil Wizard Squad and the 85000 soldiers from His Majesty."

"Where is it?

"You must be kidding."

Shaomin pointed north.

Beyond the Great River.

The Shaomin Army 5000 proceeds with an undisturbed march.

I immediately bumped into a horseback riding nation and retreated.

"Brother, why did you retreat so quickly? I could do more."

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

"Oh, you mean that.

"Hey, the horseback riding people are easy, 'cause they're not coming after us at all when we retreat."

"You knew me well, brother."

"Well, I looked into the horseback riding race."

"That's my brother"

"Ka Sirio Nole Sireba Hyaksen Ayau Karaz, Ka Siraz Onle Sirebaijo Whippai, Ka Siraz Onle Siraza Reba Coles Nawati Kana Razmakel"

"You like that wording, brother."

"Oh, the moment I heard this word, I was paralyzed, and besides, I made this word because I'm only a 15-year-old girl two years ago"

The two ran horses side by side.
