Chapter 240: Tiamant..Eat
A massive summoning formation slowly unfolded at the center of the Beast King Arena.
It was completely different from when Iron, Slimy, or even those skeletons had appeared. This time, the instant the summoning formation truly took shape, the mana filling the entire arena seemed to come under some kind of suppression as countless intricate dark gold patterns spread outward across the black stone floor, eventually forming an enormous magic formation more than ten meters in diameter.
Then, a dragon’s head slowly rose from within the formation.
Seeing the dragon’s head, many of them became frightened and started shaking in their boots.
Although the monster had not fully emerged, each and every one of them could tell that it was extremely powerful.
Even the usually calm and collected Nadia furrowed her brows and looked on with intense curiosity.
But when its system information appeared before the few players who possessed appraisal skills, quite a number of them visibly froze.
[Tiamant]
[Level: 1]
"Level one?"
Someone almost thought they had seen it wrong.
"He summoned a Level 1 magical beast at a time like this?"
A Level 1 summon was a weakling and could easily be squashed by low level players, but no one laughed because the moment Tiamant truly opened its eyes, an aura completely different from ordinary level suppression had already enveloped the entire Beast King Arena.
Roar!
A deep dragon roar rumbled from the depths of its throat.
Though the sound was not deafening, it seemed to strike directly into the depths of every magical beast’s bloodline.
The dozens of summoned beasts that had still been roaring moments ago simultaneously stiffened.
A Level 23 Earthsplit Demon Bear was the first to lower its head, followed by the Wind Wolves, Crimson Armored Rhinos, and Twin Tailed Demon Leopards. Even the Level 29 Nether Eye White Tiger in the distance suddenly contracted its third eye as its four limbs lowered slightly toward the ground.
The Golden Armored Lion similarly released an uneasy growl.
Kane’s expression completely changed.
"This isn’t level suppression..."
Nadia stared at Tiamant, true solemnity appearing in her purple eyes for the first time.
"It’s bloodline suppression."
In front of the throne, Zich had already raised the scythe.
For the past twenty minutes, he had been defending, preserving his mana and using his skeletons to constantly change positions, allowing the teams that were wary of one another to exhaust each other.
But from the moment Adrian attacked Slimy, things had changed.
Since these people could kill his summons, then naturally, he could kill theirs.
More importantly, Zich’s gaze slowly swept across the arena.
Earthsplit Demon Bear, Crimson Armored Rhino, Black Feather Griffin, and many others.
These were not ordinary monsters. They were the main summoned beasts that players had poured enormous amounts of resources into raising, and the vast majority of them were above Level 20, with soul quality far surpassing that of the ordinary magical beasts roaming the outer regions of Myriad Beast Mountain.
To everyone else, they were summons.
But to Zich, they were also materials.
"Tiamant." Zich’s voice rang out. "Eat."
Tiamant’s pupils abruptly contracted.
Boom!
Its enormous dragon body burst completely out of the summoning formation for the first time!
The nearest Level 22 Crimson Armored Rhino did not even have time to react before Tiamant slammed one claw down onto its head.
"Come back!"
Its owner’s expression changed drastically as he immediately tried to recall his summoned beast.
Too late!
Tiamant opened its enormous bone jaws. It did not bite into the Crimson Armored Rhino’s body.
Instead, its jaws clamped down on something completely invisible to the naked eye.
A ghostly blue spirit orb was forcibly ripped straight out of the Crimson Armored Rhino’s body and then entered Zich’s body.
"What?!" Nadia abruptly straightened.
As a Soulbinder, she was able to see the spirit orb, unlike the others!
"How?" The frown on her face deepened.
While the dragon killed the pets of the others, Zich seemed to be devouring or absorbing their souls. She could not quite place exactly what kind of ability he was using.
Crack!
Zich’s eyes flickered with ecstasy as a new tomb appeared in his graveyard.
"Stop it!"
"Don’t let that dragon get near our summons!"
The players who had still been hesitant because Tiamant was only Level 1 finally reacted, and several skills simultaneously blasted toward the center of the arena.
But they had forgotten one thing.
Tiamant was not Zich’s only summon.
Boom!
Iron charged in from the side, violently sending a melee player flying, while the Blood Leech emerged from behind another summoned beast and plunged its mouthparts directly into its flesh.
As for Zich himself, he had already used Shadow Blink to cross the frontal battlefield.
The scythe swept horizontally!
Slash!
A Level 24 Wolf, already suppressed by Tiamant’s bloodline, did not even have time to dodge before an enormous wound was torn across its neck.
Its owner was just about to rush to its aid, but Zich had already disappeared.
The next moment, pale Spirit Flame exploded directly inside the Wolf’s wound!
Boom!
Its enormous body crashed heavily onto the ground.
A ghostly green orb of soul light floated out from its corpse and entered Zich’s body once again.
Suddenly, right at that moment, an enraged roar came from Zich’s side.
"Zich!"
He quickly turned around. Three summoned beasts simultaneously broke through Iron’s defense and surrounded Zich.
But the instant they came within ten meters of Tiamant, all three of their movements stiffened for the briefest moment.
It was only an instant. However, that instant was more than enough for Zich to do whatever he wanted to do.
[Shadow Blink!]
Zich appeared beside the first magical beast.
His scythe descended, splitting the air apart.
Shing!
Blood sprayed through the air, forming a crimson arc.
Iron followed immediately behind him and smashed the second beast’s front leg, while Tiamant directly pounced upon the third.
The siege that had originally targeted Zich completely changed at this moment.
