Surrendering to the beast’s gentle guidance, Erin squeezed her eyes shut and took a deep, shaky breath. In the quiet dark behind her eyelids, she felt the subtle, soothing touch of the Overseer’s telepathic energy wrapping around her newly awakened dark core.

Under the beast’s steady instruction, she learned how to align her breathing with the pulse of her internal mana, anchoring her consciousness in the present so the erratic visions of the future would no longer drown her mind.

For two full days and two full nights, the sky above Rilth burned.

The cataclysmic clash between the two Overlords raged without a single second of respite. Torrents of black lightning tore through the upper atmosphere, while spatial voids swallowed whole clouds, turning the heavens into a churning storm of purple and crimson destruction. Inside the small wooden house, shielded by the Doom Overseer’s green barrier, Erin remained safe, spending the hours practicing the mental disciplines taught to her by the ancient beast.

On the evening of the second day, the violent atmospheric pressure suddenly snapped.

A blinding flash of absolute darkness ripped through the sky, followed by an earth-shattering boom that shook the very roots of the floating mountain. And then... complete silence fell over the world.

Driven by an irresistible urge, Erin stepped out onto the porch. The green barrier dissolved, revealing the bruised-purple sky of Rilth slowly returning to its calm twilight hue.

High above the central clearing, a colossal silhouette was plummeting from the clouds. It was the Lightning Overlord—its massive, bio-mechanical body scorched, shattered, and completely lifeless. As the massive entity fell, its physical vessel began to rapidly disintegrate, turning into a breathtaking, roaring ocean of pure, golden-violet life mana.

Descending slowly through the golden mist was Roshhide.

His bare chest was marked with bleeding gashes and scorched scales, his dark smoke-hair drifting wildly in the gentle breeze. He looked exhausted, yet he carried the absolute, unyielding authority of a victor.

Erin watched in breathless awe, expecting the Calamity Lord to greedily absorb the vast ocean of primordial life energy to heal his own wounds and expand his power.

Instead, Roshhide did something that left her utterly speechless.

Standing amidst the floating golden light, Roshhide pulled out the core of the Lightening Overlord and redirected the Life mana inside it.

Instantly, the entire ocean of concentrated life mana—the accumulated essence of an S-Rank Primordial Ruler—was forcefully redirected. The glowing golden torrent spiraled through the air, rushing straight into its own core.

Erin gasped as she witnessed something impossible. How could something like this be possible. The beasts were far ahead of humans in the understanding of mana and the powers they granted. She, once again, felt the hope of Humans winning fade away.

Roshhide did not take a single drop of that life mana for himself.

Once the process was complete, the Overlord turned his back without saying a word, stepping silently toward his central palace to recuperate in isolation.

In the days that followed, a quiet, peaceful harmony settled over the floating mountain.

The violent storms were gone, replaced by the tranquil, twilight warm breezes that carried the faint scent of pine and moss. Erin did not see Roshhide during this time; the spatial Overlord remained secluded within his deep chambers to recover from his brutal injuries.

However, Erin was far from lonely.

Every single day, without fail, the Doom Overseer would glide through the forest to visit her sanctuary. The majestic teal panther would sit peacefully on the mossy grass outside her wooden porch, conversing with her for hours through their telepathic connection.

Erin, whose analytical mind could never truly stop asking questions, found herself endlessly fascinated by the creature. Unlike the mindless, bloodthirsty beasts that invaded Earth, the Doom Overseer was an entity of profound wisdom, exquisite grace, and genuine emotional depth.

One quiet afternoon, while watching the teal fur shimmer like liquid silk under the glowing violet canopy, Erin finally voiced a question that had been lingering in her mind for days.

"Doom Overseer," Erin began softly, leaning against the wooden railing of her porch. "You are a creature of pure flesh, blood, and immense wisdom. You do not fight, nor do you crave destruction. Why do you stay here? Why do you serve Roshhide?"

The Overseer lifted its heavy head, its ribbon antlers swaying gently in the warm breeze. Its emerald eyes looked out toward the distant, stars, some burning and others broken, hanging in Rilth’s violet sky.

"You misunderstand one thing, my lady," the Doom Overseer answered smoothly in her mind. "I do not serve Roshhide. He is a Supreme Overlord, yes, and I respect his absolute domain over space and darkness. But my ultimate allegiance does not belong to him."

Erin blinked in surprise. "Then who do you serve?"

"I serve my true Liege," the Overseer replied, his voice echoing with an ancient, reverent weight. "A Liege who has not yet taken his first breath in this physical world. A Sovereign who is destined to command and unite the broken courts, and rewrite the fundamental laws of all realms."

A soft, mysterious smile curved the beast’s snout as it turned its gaze back to Erin.

"I remain by Roshhide’s side because the path leading to the arrival of my Liege is tied directly to him," the Overseer revealed. "Without Roshhide, the bridge would never be built, and my Lord would never come to be."

Erin sat in silent awe, processing the staggering revelation. As the days turned into weeks, their conversations deepened. They spoke of the cosmos, of the fundamental conflict between pure and dark mana, and shared their prophetic visions with each other.

Erin told the Overseer about the vivid dreams that continued to visit her during her meditation. She spoke of the hyper-modern, futuristic city built upon the ruins of Area 5, connected by mid-air trams, where humans walked under a pristine blue sky without the fear of gate breaks. She also spoke of a great war to come. One that will change everything.

The Doom Overseer listened to every word with quiet, profound reverence.

Then, one evening, as the violet sun dipped beneath the endless sea of white clouds below their floating mountain, the atmosphere grew heavy and still.

The Doom Overseer closed its eyes. The ribbon antlers crowning its head began to pulse with a brilliant, deep-blue light, vibrating with a cosmic frequency that made the quiet forest hum. The Overseer was looking deep into the infinite tapestry of time, watching the countless grains of sand fall into place.

When the beast opened its eye again, its gaze locked dead onto Erin Volter with a look of absolute, breathtaking finality.

"The threads have converged, Erin Volter," the Overseer’s voice vibrated directly within her soul.

Erin felt a sudden, inexplicable chill run down her spine. She straightened her posture, looking nervously at the ancient beast. "What... what did you see?"

The Doom Overseer bowed its head low before her, its tone filled with an indescribable mix of awe, joy, and tragic sorrow.

"You... Erin Volter... are destined to bear two children."
