Chapter 95: Why Give It Back?

This guy really gave them a big problem. It wasn't easy to deal with. Now it's even more troublesome. Forget it. Let's just wait until we get back to the base and give the director a headache.

Coulson Murmer thought.

“Choice? Do I have a choice?” After Peter mumbled to himself, he remembered his parents who were still lying in the hospital, presumably collapsing if they knew that their precious son was now a mutant and a wanted murderer.

“I can work with you, but I want to see my parents for the last time. ”

Coulson muttered for a moment and said to the transmitter: "Go to a group of people and bring the target's parents to headquarters. If you meet someone in the military, try not to get into conflict and move quietly. ”

When he finished his assignment, he turned to the skinny little Pete and said seriously: "Although we were getting along very well on the way, for safety's sake, I'll use the anesthetic bomb to let you sleep for a while, or can you convince Mr. Dior to come with you? ”

Pete, however, had figured out why Dior had appeared at school and why he had saved him, and he no longer wanted to add trouble to others, so he nodded in a desperate manner: "I will not resist. ”

Coulson dropped two rounds of anesthetic bombs into Peter's body for safety reasons and passed out instantly to ensure that the ‘bomb’ would not explode for the time being until he arrived at Headquarters.

“Need another ride?” Coulson thief hypocritical courtesy.

“No, but Agent Coulson, do you have something for me?” Dior wasn't in a hurry to leave after getting out of the car.

“What is it?” Coulson immediately pretended to be a fool.

“Like a small, cute, pocket snail. ”

“Ah, there was one that fell on my neck, but I threw it away. Is that your pet? I'm so sorry. I'll give you one the next time I see you. That's it. ”

Decided, Dior, who just owed them a favor from S.H.I.E.L.D., couldn't have turned his face over because of it, and Coulson was so embarrassed that he chose to blacken that magical 'snail' and was ready to wait until he got back to HQ before handing it over for research.

Coulson, blushing after lying, quickly started the car and Dior just laughed and didn't poke him through.

Throw it away?

How is that possible?

Dior had already felt, through the body of Little John, that it was actually on Coulson, but it was isolated, and it should have been something he had put in.

Which means this guy didn't plan on returning this thing from the start!

Imagine, in S.H.I.E.L.D. 's style of action, seeing anything good won't be easy to let go. How can a magical snail that can only make a spiritual connection complete a spiritual communication not be coveted? If it can study the principles, it may be possible that Xingxing can drive the technological progress again. Perhaps the communication device of the future will become a circular patch, so long as it can be affixed to the body for all kinds of exchanges, without the need to manipulate it, a single idea can remotely initiate a call...

But what they don't know is that, as the true owner of Little John, all the communications snails that split apart were born and died in Dior's flash, and Coulson was bound to be busy for nothing.

A few hours later, S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters.

After listening to Coulson's report, Nick Fury was caught in contemplation.

In the meantime, Coulson has learned about what happened yesterday from those two agents, as well as from Pete's own population, the reasons for Dior's presence on the scene, and the consequences of the 'mutant campus massacre' are now before Nick Fry.

After all, this is a tragedy caused by bullying on campus. It is not surprising that Pete, who has been humiliated, would do such a thing. Even the house was burned down and his parents were hospitalized. As a result, the school was bullied even harder. Even the last hope was ruined. It is hard to imagine that the students in the school would be so bad now.

Nick Fury thinks he wouldn't let these scum go if he were himself, but the bad news is it's bad on the sensitive identity of the mutant!

Things were already very messy, not only with the military but also with a lot of journalists, and the parents of students who had been determined to be dead kept jumping up and down, but didn't mention the atrocities their children had inflicted on other students.

Even S.H.I.E.L.D. would have difficulty withstanding the pressure of what might eventually turn out to be antagonism and contradiction between humans and mutants, not to mention the fact that the mutant student killed someone.

In summary, it makes sense to be sympathetic, but it doesn't erase Pete's murder.

And the students who were killed really deserve to die?

Juristically, what they do, though unspeakable, does not kill them, but logically, it is everyone who knows the truth who wants these bastards dead clean.

And now this hot yam is being held by S.H.I.E.L.D., which is a real headache, especially if it involves Dior...

“Agent Coulson, what do you think we should do about this? Just now, the Secretary-General called to ask me if I knew, and the military seemed very dissatisfied, asking us to give a statement. ”

“I don't think anyone needs to be told before there is any evidence to prove that we took people away, and in the other party's view, the only thing that was stolen was a corpse of little value. As long as we convinced them that the prisoner who committed the case was dead, I thought it would be natural for this to go away, and of course, it would be necessary for the Director himself to do so. ”

The superior status of S.H.I.E.L.D. also means that they have a lot of room to operate. Coulson is not very smart. To be honest is to open his eyes to bullshit and play stinky scoundrels, but the bias is highly feasible, as long as there is no traitor inside S.H.I.E.L.D....

“How do we explain it to the target parents? ”

“Pete saw them through one-way glass, so they didn't know anything about Pete, just send them away afterwards, and we told them we were going to track down the target, so we brought people specifically for questioning, a play, and it was reasonable. ”

Nick Fry nodded with satisfaction.
