As she spoke, she downed another bottle.
Ye Chen knew if Zhou Susu kept drinking like this, she’d feel horrible.
Wasn’t she just trying to get him drunk? So he pretended to be drunk to resolve it.
Ye Chen grabbed a bottle and started chugging, but halfway through, he slammed onto the table.
Zhou Susu was delighted to see this.

"Relax, your Captain Zhou is safe."
Ye Chen said and then hung up the call.
The policewoman was about to ask, "Who are you?"
But realized the call had already ended.
The policewoman put down the phone, not daring to delay, and quickly hailed a taxi to head to the address Ye Chen mentioned.
Although Ye Chen had notified Zhou Susu’s colleague, he didn’t leave but stayed to ensure her safety.
After all, Zhou Susu was drunk now, and if he left and she encountered danger, she wouldn’t be able to defend herself, which would be terrible.
