Ye Chen carried the milk tea and takeout bag to a residential area.
He saw an ordinary-looking man holding a large bouquet of roses, seemingly waiting for someone downstairs.
Ye Chen didn’t pay any attention and continued delivering the takeout.
When he came back, he saw that man was on the phone.
"Sasha, didn’t you tell me yesterday that you’d let me take you to the amusement park today? I’ve been waiting for you all morning and haven’t seen you. Is something up?"
A girl’s voice came from the other end.
"I went out partying with my girlfriends last night and got home really late. I’m tired now and don’t want to go anywhere."
The man didn’t expect the girl to say this, and his expression turned a bit gloomy.
"Then why don’t you sleep a little longer, and we’ll go when you wake up, alright?"
"I don’t want to, I just want to sleep. Can you stop bothering me?"
"Sasha, be good. I took a day off just to accompany you, and I even worked extra yesterday,"
the man pleaded again.

No matter how much the man pleaded, the girl on the other end of the phone just wouldn’t come down.

The doormat man vented his frustrations at Ye Chen, taking out the anger he received from the girl on him.
Ye Chen felt a bit sorry for the man, so he didn’t take offense.

"Brother, you’ve misunderstood. I just happened to overhear your call with your girlfriend, so I wanted to help you," Ye Chen said with a smile.
"You want to help me?" The man looked at Ye Chen skeptically.
He didn’t believe Ye Chen could actually help him.
"Yes, believe me, but you have to give me your girlfriend’s number."
"Alright, Sasha’s number is..."
The doormat man spoke up.
"Brother, can you really do this?"
The doormat man was thinking, just now he had called Sasha for such a long time, and no matter how he begged, the girl was unwilling to come down.
But now, seeing this delivery guy in front of him saying he could help, make the girl come down,

Ye Chen input the phone number of the girl named Sasha into his phone and then dialed it.
"Miss Sasha? There’s a delivery for you downstairs, could you please come down to pick it up?" Ye Chen said.

But seeing him use such a simple method, the man felt it was a bit too childish.

The doormat man couldn’t accept Sasha’s actions; he even wondered if a delivery was more important than his date.
He had carefully planned for this date for an entire month, all to make the girl happy.
Yet, he wasn’t just rejected but also mercilessly deceived.
"I didn’t deceive you. I never really wanted to go out with you; it’s just what you wanted for yourself."
Sasha said confidently, putting all the blame on the man.
"Alright, since that’s the case, let’s not waste each other’s time anymore. Let’s break up."
The doormat man was so angry his hands were trembling.
"Fine, break up it is. Who’s afraid of who?"
Sasha said without any concern.
Ye Chen, hearing the doormat man’s decision, admired him for being able to pick up and let go just like that.
