Chapter 145: Sun God Ra [2]
Why don’t we talk about the the Existence where the True Gods live?
The Divine Realm is a vast, boundless cosmos overflowing with an almost suffocating concentration of pure, unrefined divine essence.
It exists on a plane far beyond mortal comprehension, isolated from the fragile laws of space and time that govern the lower worlds.
This celestial expanse is fundamentally split into two distinct tiers: the Lower Mythical Realms and the Upper Mythical Realms.
The Lower Mythical Realms comprise infinite dimensional planes and ancient domains, home to tens of thousands of mythical divine creatures, ancient spiritual lifeforms, and elemental manifestations.
Though terrifyingly vast, this lower tier is merely the foundation of the divine hierarchy.
Above it rest the Upper Mythical Realms—a domain constructed of the Ten Heavens.
Unlike the chaotic Lower Mythical Realms, the Ten Heavens are strictly governed sanctuaries occupied exclusively by the highest order of existence: the True Gods.
Each Heaven is ruled by a supreme, absolute entity—an Absolute-tier True God—who commands vast pantheons of lesser deities, divine marshals, and sacred servants.
Among these majestic domains, situated in the eastern province of the Divine Realm, lies the Sun Heaven.
It is the dimension of the Sun God, Ra.
Floating at the absolute center of this sacred Heaven is the modern, golden metropolis—a sanctuary of silent grandeur where the Sun God himself resides in solitude within his golden castle.
Balancing on the edge of the balcony, Anaerus quivered in the sheer, overwhelming presence of the Sun God.
The moment the deity turned his gaze upon him, the air around Anaerus grew so heavy it felt as though an entire mountain range had dropped onto his back.
Anaerus was not a god, nor was he a mortal.
He was one of the countless divine creatures brought into existence by the primordial Will of Existence to serve as perpetual servants, heralds, and soldiers for the True Gods.
Though his body was forged with divine essence—making him far too powerful to ever step foot into the fragile mortal plane without shattering the surrounding space.
He was still too weak to be classified as a true Divine Spirit.
As a high-ranking divine creature of the Crimson Fairy Race, Anaerus commanded terrifying strength among his kin, yet before an Absolute-tier True God like Ra, he was nothing more than a speck of dust.
"Speak, Anaerus," the Sun God murmured smoothly, his golden hair shifting over his pristine robes.
Slamming his forehead flat against the golden balcony floor, Anaerus spoke with a trembling, deeply apologetic voice.
"My Lord... the more I attempted to dig deeper into the incident, the more impossible it became to trace the divine threads," Anaerus confessed, his gray eyes fixed on the floor in shame.
"A dense, divine veil has completely severed the record of Damascus’s final moments."
He paused, swallowing hard before delivering the few facts he had managed to piece together.
"However... I have confirmed the baseline cause of his divine collapse. Damascus, the Lesser-tier True God of the Unorthodox Faction, performed a mysterious Divine Vessel Possession Ritual to force a fraction of his divine soul down into the mortal plane.
During his descent, his mortal vessel was completely destroyed, severing his anchor and dragging his true soul into absolute non-existence.
He is truly dead."
The Sun God, Ra, gave a soft, almost dismissive sigh.
"I am already aware of those mundane details, Anaerus," Ra said, his tone serene and unbothered. "Damascus was a fool who relied on crude blood sacrifices to maintain his status.
When he descended, the God of Justice exploited the instability of his mortal anchor, severing his link and leaving his true body exposed.
That pitiful meager unorthodox god got precisely what he deserved."
Ra tilted his porcelain face toward the sky, his sun-gold eyes gleaming with faint amusement.
"I did not send you to learn how he died. I wanted to know who held the hand that guided the God of Justice to that exact weakness."
"Forgive me, My Lord!" Anaerus cried out, trembling even harder as cold sweat beaded on his crimson skin. "My incompetence has failed Your Grace! Grant me more time, and I will tear through the lower sanctuaries to bring you the truth!"
"Do not bother," Ra said smoothly, casually shrugging his golden-clad shoulders.
He leaned his arm against the balcony slab, his smile remaining completely unfading. "It is no fault of your own, Anaerus. You could search for a thousand years and find nothing.
The reason you were met with a dead end is because Telvanus is actively shielding the record."
Anaerus’s gray eyes widened in shock beneath his lowered head.
Telvanus—the God of Information!
A King-tier True God.
One of the most elusive and dangerous entities in the Upper Mythical Realms, capable of erasing concepts and truths from the divine record at will.
Despite being hunted by the ten Absolute-tier True Gods.
He was yet to be found.
The Sun God stared out into the endless crimson clouds, his lips curling into a sharp, lopsided grin.
A soft, low chuckle escaped his throat, echoing melodic and terrifyingly clear through the silent golden castle.
"It seems..." Ra murmured softly, his golden eyes flickering with a dangerous, calculating light, "...there is something remarkably interesting happening behind the scenes.
Something deep enough to make even the God of Information obscure the divine tapestry. It truly makes me curious."
Anaerus dared not speak, waiting for his master’s supreme command.
"However," Ra continued, his tone settling into a calm, majestic authority, "now is not the time for the Sun Pantheon to make an open move.
The balance between the Ten Heavens is delicate, and a single wrong step will ignite a war among the Absolute Gods."
The Sun God turned his back to the horizon, looking down at his kneeling herald.
"From this moment onward... shift your shadow networks," Ra ordered firmly. "Keep a constant, unblinking watch on whatever moves within the Heaven of Death and the Heaven of Light.
Track every divine activity, every angel’s movement, and every anomaly."
"A divine war is coming...."
A faint, brilliant glow flared around Ra’s divine frame as he lightly brushed his golden sleeve.
"As for Telvanus..." Ra’s grin widened, his eyes flashing like twin suns. "Leave the God of Information to me..
He is a fugitive currently hiding from all the ten patheons including mine...
But It won’t be long before he falls under my absolute control"
