Chapter 67: Eurenia’s Faith
There was two reasons why Roy brought Alisa and Eurenia into Norona City as reinforcements.
It’s not because he was incapable of destroying Norona City from within.
But because he needed to gain something from the chaos.
Faith Points.
Everytime Roy directly kills in the game, he receives nothing. But if it were his followers who had those numbers of kills.
He would gain Faith Points.
This was the reason why he called for Alisa and Eurenia, to farm faith points for him during the chaos.
The second reason was because Alisa still hasn’t reached the realm of a Martial Master, and Eurenia is still an Initial-enlightened stage Martial Master.
To receive enlightenment, a cultivator must experience battles upon battles.
They must risk their lives, this was the main reason why he summoned them.
Elder Croak and Lord Manuses were already Martial Lords.
Brenda and Trojan were Martial Masters.
But Roy weren’t interested in them like he was with Alisa and Eurenia.
He needed them to grow stronger beyond anything. To break their limits and forge them into his worthy weapons.

"You’re here" Roy exhaled a deep sigh.
"Yes we are, Master Jarden" the two dedicated followers bowed their heads in unison, Roy was sitted on a rock.
And beside him stood the three secret agents of Mandraxx.
Nurex, Ivon and Yuri were all nervous.
Why wouldn’t they be?
Their Director stands before them, Alisa tilts her head, she stared at her agents for a moment "Cultivators?" she asked with a stunned look on her face.
"Yes" Roy smiled.
"I’m in need of everyone’s strength so Lord Varanus blessed them, they’re all cultivators" Roy rose from his seat.
Nurex, Yuri and Ivon were forcefully evolved into Initial-enlightened stage cultivators.
"Why tho?" Alisa asked, she wasn’t happy by the fact that her juniors were all awakened Martial Warriors.
She had just recently broken the wall of the Initial-enlightenment and reached Middle-enlightenment.
Until she became a Martial Master.
She wasn’t expecting any of her agents to evolve into cultivators, her displeasure was clear and Roy could see it.
"It’s fine Alisa" Roy placed his right hand on Alisa’s shoulder, "I plan on making you a Martial Master quicker than anyone"
"Bring it" Roy faced the agents.
Nurex rushed into the shadows and he brought out a bag, this bag was crafted using the flesh of an Ogre.
"What is this?" Alisa curiously asked.
"Mana Cores" Roy answered, "Every living creature in this world possess a Mana Core, evolved or not"
"Devour the mana residue in this mana cores" Roy instructed, "There are thirty-two Mana Cores in this bag"
"You have five hours to complete this task, this will boost your Enlightment to the Peak-stage"
"And it would also increase your mana residual by thirty folds" Roy stated.
"What about me?" Eurenia asked.
"You?" Roy smiled at Eurenia, "You are already a Martial Master powerful enough to contend even against a Martial General"
"But I also need to fasten your enlightenment so don’t move!" Roy stretched forth his hand.
Eurenia obeyed, she stood still..
The moment she locked eyes with Roy, she could feel it. Her brain was overflowing with informations.
Emotions and ideas.
Using his divine authority of Mindcraft, Roy opened Eurenia’s mind and fed her informations he had obtained from those human written grimoires he found in that mysterious cave.
This knowledge was enough to trigger Eurenia’s Enlightment phase.
She had reached the Middle-enlightened stage that moment.
"Thank you" Eurenia bowed before the Apostle of Lord Varanus, "Praise be to the God of Beasts"

Everyone in the tunnel chanted in unison, without wasting time.
Alisa grabbed the bag and brought out a single Mana Core, she broke the core with her fist and slowly.
She began devouring the mana residue.
"Good" Roy nodded. "I love your determination" he chuckled.
"What exactly would we be doing in Norona City?" Eurenia asked.
She was curious to understand her role and Alisa’s role in Norona City and how it would fall into chaos.
Roy grinned, "It’s simple"
"Simple?" Eurenia asked.
"Yeah" Roy nodded, "I’m currently using the form of a Troll I killed, my task is to hunt down the Tempest spies scattered across Norona City"
"I’ll have Orcs and Ogres under my command, the traitor is currently under my control but I have no use for him any longer"
"This is your role.....Eurenia" Roy’s eyes flickered, "While we hunt for the spies hidden in Norona City"
"I want you to wipe us out" he stated.
"Wipe you out?" Eurenia asked. "Yes" Roy answered.
"Kill the Orcs and Ogres under the Troll Captain during the search, I’ll be summoned before the Troll King thanks to that"
"While I’m reporting to the Troll King regarding the incident, assassinate the traitor who is under the protection of the Troll King"
"But that assasination will be done by Alisa" Roy smiled.
"You have a different task" he turned his gaze, "I’ll be sending you co-ordinates to the secret ritual site hidden behind Norona"
"The Troll King is conducting rituals by sacrificing beastmen to the God of Misfortune, I still have no hide what they truly intend to do" Roy lied.
But how could he tell mere mortals that the God of Misfortune seeks to descend into the Hudeii Desert?
They all will panick.
Overwhelmed by fear of the unknown.
"So you want me to dismantle that ritual huh?" Eurenia asked.
"That is correct, but it must be done discreetly, every single sentry positioned at that secret ritual site is a cultivator"
"It won’t be easy" Roy stated.
"It won’t be easy huh?" Eurenia shrugged, "Doesn’t matter to me" a lopsided grin appeared on her lips.
"I have a question tho" she said.
"Ask" Roy smiled.
"Is this the will of Lord Varanus?" Eurenia asked.
"Yes. Lord Varanus seeks to destroy the schemes of the Unorthodox God that the Trolls serve" he stated.
"Very well then...I’ll complete this task at all cost" she declared.
"Lord Varanus gave me this life, a chance to grow stronger, a chance to protect my people...."
"It doesn’t matter who stands in my way. If they’re against the God of Beasts"
"They will die a thousand times!"
