Roy didn’t pick offense for he knew Telvanus spoke the truth.

Damascus may be an unorthodox god but he is still a True God. Regardless of his restrictions....

Roy wouldn’t dare to challenge a True God in a direct confrontation, he would be destroyed without even putting up a fight.

That is how mighty the status of a True God was.

Telvanus stared at Roy for a moment before inhaling deeply, "But do not worry, Damascus is a Lesser-tier True God, and since we are partners"

"I’ll surely support you in one way or the other" he smiled, but that assurance wasn’t enough to ease the tension in Roy’s heart.

"Thank you but it won’t be long before I ascend into a True God" Roy said, "Oh?" Telvanus raised an eyebrow, "Why do you say so?" He asked.

Roy laidback on his seat, "The Adminstrators gave me ten years to accumulate ten thousand followers and ascend into a True God"

"If I fail, I’ll be erased before the Director notices" he smiled, "My life’s on the line, I need to work hard in other to survive"

"Hmmm...." Telvanus gently stroked his chin, "Ten years to accumulate ten thousand followers huh?"

"How many followers have you accumulated so far?" he asked, "Two thousand" Roy answered immediately.

"Two thousand followers?" Telvanus grinned, "It’s been only three months since you transmigrated here and you have already accumulated that much"

"Once you’ve conquered the Hudeii Desert. You should have accumulated at least thirty thousand followers" Telvanus said.

"Thirty thousand followers?" Roy chuckled, "For now I’m only accepting beastmen, my Divine Domain strictly focuses on beastmen"

"I’ll destroy Norona City and wipe out the Orcs, Ogres, Goblins and Trolls from the Hudeii Desert"

"Uniting all beastmen of the Desert under my religion. This is the plan I’ve envisioned for this desert" Roy explained.

"You’re going to purge all non beastmen huh?" Telvanus’ lips curled faintly, "Could it be that you seek to harvest their souls and convert them into faith points?" he asked.

"Yes" Roy smiled, there was no need to deny, "There are currently two ways for me to accumulate Faith points"

"The first is from beastmen praying to me, a single prayer is automatically a follow button and I gain a single faith point from every following"

"The second is the death of those killed by my followers. As long as the slained are not my followers"

"Their souls will automatically be converted into faith points" he paused for a moment, "I need to accumulate followers in order to survive but I also need to accumulate faith points to grow stronger"

"I will purchase hundreds of skills and divine relics to strengthen my followers and to also acquire more beads of Creation Essence" he sighed.

"This is why I cannot afford to be lenient on those who are unfortunate enough to not be beastmen" a dark grin appeared on his lips, "The armies of the Troll King will merely be a meal to satisfy my thirst"

"With the completion of the purge. Hudeii Desert should be left with atleast eight thousand beastmen"

"But I must also reduce the number of casualties on my side"

"You’ve truly thought far ahead" Telvanus nodded, "I’ll leave you to have your fun in Hudeii Desert"

"We are no longer humans, we are transmigrators....."

"We are True Gods!" Telvanus’ eyes flickered, "Mortals of this world are merely chess pieces to acquire bigger fruits"

"Let’s end our meeting for now" Telvanus snapped his finger, "When I need you. I know where to find you" he whispered.

The suffocating infinity of the cosmic library didn’t fade—it shattered.

The towering rows of mahogany shelves, the floating real-time maps of the Hudeii Desert, and the swirling silver nebulae of starlight suddenly violently compressed into a single, blinding pinpoint of pale-blue light.

A sharp, localized crack of kinetic thunder echoed inside Roy’s eardrums, forcing his eyes shut for a fraction of a second.

When he opened them, the absolute silence of Telvanus’s archive was gone, replaced instantly by the harsh, familiar reality of the physical world.

He was back in the obsidian-glass alleyway of Tempest City.

The dry, sulfurous heat of the Hudeii Desert hit his face like a physical wall, a staggering contrast to the sterile, cold ozone scent of the Divine Zone.

The distant, rhythmic clanging of heavy iron hammers and the low, vibrating hum of the beastmen constructing the Grand Basilica of Varanus rushed back into his senses all at once.

"I’m back" Roy mumbled, his eye’s glistening crimson, he quickly transformed back into Jarden Rome before anyone noticed.

Roy stumbled slightly, his leather boots scuffing against the newly formed Varanite stone of the alley floor.

His dual-colored pupils flared, scanning every pocket of shadow, every high rafter, and every structural crease in the obsidian walls.

The avatar of Telvanus was completely gone.

There was no residual trace of pale-blue divine data floating in the air.

The terrifying, machine-like atmospheric pressure that the God of Information wielded had been entirely erased, leaving behind absolutely no spiritual footprint.

It was as if the black-haired, golden-eyed human had never existed in the space at all—except for the cold reality that Roy’s internal map had just been permanently altered by the encounter.

Standing alone in the humid shadow of the alley, Roy slowly let go of his clenched fist, his lips curling into a sharp, dangerous grin.

"It seems I’ve gotten my hands on a reliable source of information" he chuckled, "I should head straight for the Grand Basilica where they’ve already gathered"

"I called for a meeting since I needed to share the skills and divine relics I purchased from the Divine Market"

"And I must also gift Eurenia the potion I had bought previously, after all she’s my first follower...."

"Once she evolves into an Initial-staged enlightened Martial Master, I’ll focus my attention on her comrades"

"Her three commanders and Commander Trojan, and I also need to work on evolving Alisa into the realm of a Martial Master"

"They’re all essential tools to grow my Church"

Roy transformed into a sun-fly, heading straight towards Saint Jarden’s Cathedral.

The headquarters of the Church of Varanus!
