Chapter 276: Outplayed By Eluned
Eluned paused, taking a slow breath as she listed even more positions with a shameless smile.
"...We did Standing Carry against the wall, we did the Mating Press, we did Sideways, and we did three different variations I don’t even have names for yet. My Lord knows many..."
Morwenna stood there in the doorway with her mouth slightly open, her brain completely flatlining as she listened to the Nature Goddess detail her entire nocturnal itinerary.
Eluned then turned to face her directly, placing her hands beneath her chest and gently lifting her petite breasts.
Her delicate pink nipples were flushed, swollen, and surrounded by distinct dark red bite marks.
"And look here," Eluned continued with an extraordinarily smug grin, her green eyes sparkling with pure victory. "This is where my Lord bit me repeatedly, sucking on me as if he were frantically searching for breast milk. Even though my chest is smaller than yours... he was far more obsessed with mine than he could ever possibly be with yours."
Eluned raised her hand, gesturing to the right side of her neck, her pale back, and her delicate belly button... all of which carried bite marks and dark red hickeys etched directly into her flesh.
Eluned stepped forward, taking a plush white towel and wrapping it around her waist.
She looked at Morwenna’s pale, speechless face, offering the Dread Queen a sweet waving gesture with her hand as if shooing away a minor pest.
"In short, Morwenna..." Eluned announced, her voice filled with undisputed triumph, "...I officially have a hubby now. And you... are still a virgin. So shoo, shoo. Go away. When you finally manage to lose your virginity... then you may come back and talk to me as an equal."
"..."
Morwenna stood frozen in the bathroom doorway.
The color completely drained from the Dread Queen’s face, leaving her looking paler than a ghost.
She had survived centuries of brutal ocean warfare... yet right now, looking at the smug towel-clad Nature Goddess standing before her, Morwenna realized the devastating truth.
She had been completely out-maneuvered, out-schemed, and left behind in the absolute dust by this terrifying yandere deity.
’I want to have sex too...!’
Meanwhile, on the top floor of the Keep...
CREAK!
Aeli gently pushed open the heavy oak door to Silas’s private executive office.
Sitting behind his broad mahogany desk, bathed in the warm golden sunlight pouring through the floor-to-ceiling windows, was Silas.
He was wearing a crisp, long-sleeved dark shirt buttoned neat at his wrists, paired with tailored black trousers.
His short dark hair was combed back, his posture upright, and his sharp handsome features radiated an effortless commanding intelligence.
Seeing his silver-haired arcanist step into the room, Silas looked up from his desk, a warm, confident smile touching his lips.
"Good morning, Lord Silas," Aeli greeted him warmly, bowing her head politely as she held a glass pitcher filled with fresh golden fruit juice.
"Good morning, Aeli," Silas greeted her back.
In truth, Silas was feeling like an entirely new man today.
And technically... he was.
Inside his chest, his newly evolved Royal Gold Core was pulsing with liquid gold energy, having officially broken through to Stage 2 of Core Advancement, permanently expanding his maximum mana pool to a staggering 30,000 points.
And on top of that physical breakthrough... he had officially taken Eluned as his wife, spending the entire night engaged in wild passionate lovemaking until the break of dawn.
’Hehe...’ Silas chuckled internally, a wave of satisfaction washing over his mind.
He almost let out an audible laugh, but caught himself in time, maintaining his cool professional composure behind his desk.
’If Elu doesn’t mind having kids eventually...’ Silas reflected in his thoughts. ’I certainly don’t mind either. A family sounds nice.’
However... a sudden concern flickered in the back of Silas’s mind.
He remembered the fundamental laws of the Blessed Land territory.
The territory had strictly enforced a female-only rule for all resident units.
’Wait a minute...’ Silas thought with his dark eyebrows pulling together slightly. ’If Elu eventually gives birth to a child... and that child turns out to be a boy... would the territory’s system laws try to forcibly eradicate or banish my own son from the domain?’
That would be a nightmare.
Silas didn’t hesitate.
He silently invoked his system interface, submitting an immediate direct query to his Upgrade system.
’System,’ Silas queried in his mind. ’Clarify territory population laws regarding direct lineage. If a male child is born to the Lord, how does the domain aura react?’
A sleek translucent blue holographic tab instantly materialized in his field of vision:
[System Query Processing...]
[Territory Rule Clarification: While external male entities are strictly prohibited from establishing residency within the Blessed Land (excluding non-human mounts and beast assets), an exemption exists for the Lord’s direct biological bloodline.]
[Notice: Any biological children or direct blood relatives produced by the Lord inherit the Sovereign’s Authority, granting them unrestricted residency and full immunity to territorial rejection.]
Reading the blue text, Silas let out a long quiet breath of genuine relief.
"Phew..." Silas exhaled softly.
Aeli, who was walking up to his desk with a glass of fresh juice, paused. She looked at him with curious silver eyes, tilting her head.
"What was that sigh for, My Lord?" Aeli asked gently. "Are you feeling unwell?"
Silas looked up at her, offering a warm genuine smile that made her heart skip three beats.
"Nothing at all, Aeli," Silas answered smoothly. "I’m just really glad to see you this morning."
Aeli’s pale cheeks instantly flushed a bright, lovely shade of pink.
Her silver ears twitched shyly as she hurriedly set the glass of fresh golden fruit juice onto his desk.
"I... I brought you some fresh Basin fruit juice, My Lord!" Aeli reported quickly, her voice trembling with sweet flustered excitement. "I prepared it myself using Kaelia’s special recipe!"
Silas looked at the glass of golden juice sitting on his desk.
He looked at the liquid, then looked back up at Aeli’s blushing face, an eyebrow twitching slightly as a wave of post-traumatic caution washed over his mind.
After getting drugged into oblivion by Eluned last night, Silas was taking zero chances with unknown drinks.
Silas squinted his golden eyes playfully, asking in a deadpan voice.
"Aeli... you didn’t happen to spike or drug this drink, did you?"
Aeli went completely rigid.
Her eyes widened in shock and her face exploded into a burning red flush as she frantically waved her hands in front of her chest.
"N-NO! OF COURSE NOT!" Aeli squeaked out frantically, her voice reaching a high-pitched adorable squeak. "I WOULD NEVER DRUG YOU, MY LORD! WHY... WHY WOULD YOU ASK SUCH A HORRIBLE QUESTION?!"
Silas looked at her innocent reaction, let out a soft chuckle, and picked up the glass.
"Just making sure," Silas smiled. "You can never be too careful in this Keep nowadays."
Silas brought the glass to his lips, taking a long refreshing gulp of the sweet, chilled fruit juice.
It tasted light and completely free of any divine slumber-herbs.
GULP!
Silas set the empty glass back down, letting out a satisfied breath.
"That was delicious, Aeli. Thank you."
Aeli beamed proudly, clutching her hands behind her back. "I’m glad you liked it, My Lord!"
Silas leaned back in his leather chair, crossing his hands over his desk, his tone shifting into business mode.
"So, Aeli," Silas began, "what is our official schedule for the territory today?"
Aeli instantly straightened her posture, taking on her role as his primary secretary.
’Speaking of Secretary... Kadi should be coming soon.’
"As you instructed yesterday, My Lord," Aeli reported clearly, "today is dedicated entirely to territory renovation and structural expansion. We need to prepare our living facilities for the incoming recruits and upgrade our internal infrastructure before war day."
"Right," Silas nodded.
Silas swiped his right hand through the air, summoning his Sovereign Realm territory interface.
He navigated directly to the Architectural Blueprint Menu... the construction tab he had unlocked when the Blessed Land officially reached Level 10.
A sleek glowing blue holographic tab materialized directly over his desk, displaying dozens of available civic, military, and residential blueprints.
Silas scrolled past the automated ballista arrays and basic stone walls, stopping at the residential section.
His eyes locked onto a specific blueprint.
[Tier 2 Multi-Floor Living Quarters]
[Type: Residential Infrastructure]
[Structure Overview: A three-story, reinforced multi-unit residential building featuring forty individual private suites, soundproofed living quarters, private washrooms, and climate-control rune arrays.]
[Materials Required: 600 Units of Ironwood Beams, 300 Units of Obsidian-Slate Stone.]
[Description: Upgrades the territory’s living standards from communal group barracks to private individual suites. Drastically boosts resident morale, physical recovery rates, and privacy.]
Silas scanned the detailed requirements, nodding his head in deep satisfaction.
"This is perfect," Silas muttered aloud, his golden eyes analyzing the wireframe diagram.
While the Barracks were fantastic for military drills, group briefings, and housing new recruits during their initial orientation... Silas knew that long-term, his elite female soldiers deserved proper, private living spaces where they could rest without sleeping in a crowded sixty-person room.
"Six hundred units of Ironwood Beams and three hundred units of Obsidian-Slate Stone..." Silas calculated in his mind.
He checked his current inventory reserves.
Thanks to Eluned’s massive timber harvests from the Umbral Basin treeline, Silas possessed over eight hundred units of raw Ironwood stored in his spatial inventory. The wood requirement was completely covered.
...However, he had zero units of Obsidian-Slate Stone.
Obsidian-Slate was a dense, fire-resistant, and highly magic-conductive stone quarried primarily from deep volcanic ridges... a material that wasn’t naturally abundant in the immediate vicinity of his Territory.
Silas leaned his chin on his palm, a thoughtful sly smirk spreading across his face.
"I don’t have the stone..." Silas mused drily to himself, "...but that doesn’t mean Lord Sky doesn’t have a massive mountain of it sitting inside the lower holds of his rolling war-rig."
Sky ran a massive multi-million-credit streaming empire.
A Classic Lord like him undoubtedly carried heavy construction bundles, refined stone crates, and raw building materials in his mobile fortress’s supply holds.
Silas looked up from his blueprint screen with his golden eyes fixing onto Aeli.
A slow and meaningful smile spread across Silas’s features... a smile that made Aeli’s heart flutter wildly against her ribs.
"Aeli..." Silas asked softly. "...would you like to grow stronger?"
Aeli’s silver eyes widened to the size of dinner plates.
Her breath caught in her throat.
She instantly remembered what Silas had done for Tasmin and Brida not too long ago... how he had placed his hand on them, ignited his golden aura, and forcefully mutated their baseline abilities, transforming them into terrifying S-Rank combatants.
Aeli took a step forward, her silver eyes glowing with fierce unshakeable determination as she nodded her head vigorously.
"Yes, My Lord!" Aeli answered passionately, her voice ringing clearly through the office. "I want to get stronger! I want to get so much stronger so I can protect you and serve you better!"
Silas chuckled warmly, nodding his head.
"Good. Then let’s do this properly."
Silas reached into his inventory, checking his Upgrade Point balance...
PING!
[Current UP Balance: 1,240 UP]
He had more than enough points saved up from yesterday’s massive monster raids to execute two full S-Rank evolutionary ascensions.
"Aeli," Silas instructed, "go fetch Rowenna. I’m going to upgrade the two of you together before—"
Before Silas could even finish his sentence—
"YES, MY LORD!" Aeli shouted happily.
Without waiting for him to complete his words, the silver-haired elven arcanist spun on her heel, sprinted out of the office door, and the second her boots crossed the threshold—
FLASH!
Aeli triggered her short-range spatial teleportation, vanishing from the hallway in a brilliant burst of silver light.
"..."
Silas sat behind his desk, his hand still extended in mid-air, staring at the empty doorway where Aeli had been standing a second ago.
Silas let out a short amused laugh, resting his hand back on the mahogany wood, tapping his fingers rhythmically against the desk.
"Man..." Silas chuckled softly to himself, his golden eyes glinting with genuine pride. "I really love how excited they get about gaining power."
Upgrading Aeli and Rowenna to full S-Rank status was a critical tactical move.
Elevating both of his primary casters to S-Rank would give the Blessed Land an god-tier magical backline... further guaranteeing that next week’s official Lord War against "The Unmovable Wall" would end in a complete overwhelming landslide victory.
Silas leaned his head back against his leather chair, staring up at the ceiling rafters with a thoughtful smirk.
"Now then..." Silas mused, his mind shifting to his next objective. "...how exactly should I approach Lord Sky to trade for those three hundred units of Obsidian-Slate stone...?"
[Author’s Note]
Happy new month in advance and I’m grateful for the support heh, let me go plan my mass release. See you guys tomorrow.
Tch, might as well gift a castle or two this new month.
