Chapter 236: Ititius’s Return... Or Not

Kadi looked up at him, her eyes welling with sudden overwhelming tears of joy.

Hearing her Lord speak her name and praise her potential directly was too much for her heart to bear.

PLOP!

Kadi immediately bowed forward, putting her head flat against the dirt right at his boots, worshipping him profusely.

"THANK YOU, MY LORD!" Kadi sobbed happily into the dirt, her body trembling with devotion. "THANK YOU FOR THIS CHANCE! I DEVOTE MY LIFE, MY SOUL, AND MY MANA TO YOU FOREVER! I AM YOUR MOST FAITHFUL SERVANT!"

Silas stared down at her worshipping his boots, letting out a short hearty laugh as he shook his head.

"Alright, alright, cut it out with the boot-worshipping," Silas laughed, grabbing her shoulder and pulling her back up to her knees. "Stand up or at least raise your head."

Kadi sat up straight, wiping tears and dirt from her face, looking up at him with wide idolizing eyes.

Silas reached into his spatial Inventory.

WHOOSH!

In a flash of golden light, the crystalline Realm Seed appeared in his right palm pulsating with immense spatial energy and dense elemental sand mana.

"Open your mouth," Silas instructed her smoothly.

Kadi didn’t question him for a single microsecond. She opened her mouth wide, tilting her head back like a loyal bird waiting to be fed.

Silas took the golden seed between his thumb and forefinger and stuffed the Realm Seed directly into her mouth.

"Swallow it whole," Silas told her.

Part of the reason why Silas had decided that he should even assign the owner of the seed as his Second Secretary in the first place was because this seed came directly from Ititius’s secret realm.

It carried the ancient dormant power of sand and probably the blessing of that Bastard, so he had to be extremely careful about who received it and keep them right beside him where he could monitor their core development.

The moment Kadi swallowed the golden seed—

BOOM!

A massive shockwave erupted from deep within the earth beneath their feet.

The entire territory began to violently tremble as the stone walls of the Keep, the wooden workshops, the stadium bleachers, and the surrounding fields shook with a deep roaring tectonic vibration that rattled every bone in everyone’s bodies.

Up in the viewing box, Morwenna grabbed the railing to steady herself with her gray eyes widening.

"What the hell?!"

Down in the arena, a massive translucent holographic blue screen materialized directly in front of Silas’s face.

[Notice: Realm Seed Integration Initiated!]

[Your Territory Is Expanding...]

[Current Physical Boundary is Expanding by +1.0 Mile in All Directions!]

RUMBLE!

The shaking reached a crescendo.

At the northern, southern, eastern, and western borders of the Blessed Land, the massive towering Steel Weave Gates and perimeter stone walls suddenly dissolved into glowing golden particles.

They vanished completely from their original positions and instantly reappeared one full mile further out into the wilderness.

As the boundaries expanded outward by a full mile in every direction, the mysterious dense forest of black trees that surrounded the outer edges of the Umbral Basin was violently pulled inside.

THUD! THUD! THUD!

Hundreds of towering, dark black-barked trees and ancient spirit vegetation were smoothly integrated into the Blessed Land’s expanding domain with their corrupted black leaves instantly turning a healthy vibrant shade of dark purple as the territory’s [Divine Sanctum] cleansed their roots.

The total landmass of Silas’s domain doubled in a matter of seconds, adding vast timber reserves, open plains, and new possible mining veins to his territory.

And perhaps monsters too...

Silas grinned, watching the territory expansion notifications scroll across his vision.

However, before he could celebrate the domain increase—

"Ghh... AAGH!"

Kadi suddenly let out a strangled agonizing gasp.

She collapsed onto her hands and knees in the dirt with her body convulsing violently!

FLASH!

Streams of coarse, glowing golden sand suddenly began soaring out of her eyes, her nose, and her mouth... hell, even from her ears.

The sand swirled around her body in a violent anti-gravitational cyclone, expanding into a ten-foot tall towering humanoid phantom floating above her head.

The phantom possessed the broad, muscular form of an ancient Egyptian-like desert warrior wearing a golden centaur crown.

A deep ancient male voice escaped from Kadi’s throat, echoing across the stadium with divine arrogance.

"FINALLY!" the ancient voice roared, the spectral phantom laughing triumphantly. "AFTER MILLENNIA OF SLUMBER INSIDE THAT SEED, I HAVE BEEN REINCARNATED INTO A MORTAL VESSEL! THIS BODY AND THIS TERRITORY NOW BELONG TO ITITIUS, THE GOD OF THE GOLDEN SANDS—"

Before the ancient deity Ititius could even finish his pompous reincarnation speech....

PING!

Another system tab violently materialized right in front of Silas’s face, flashing with warning lights.

[Warning: Unregistered Male Divine Consciousness Detected Within Blessed Land!]

[Territory Rule Activated: Male Entities Are Strictly Prohibited Within The Domain!]

[Proceeding With Immediate Eradication...]

BAM!

Without giving the ancient sand god a single millisecond to react, an invisible god-tier hammer of territorial authority came crashing down from the sky.

CRACK!

The divine phantom of Ititius didn’t even get a chance to scream as the ancient god’s lingering soul fragment was brutally obliterated into nothingness by the territory’s rules.

The golden sand soaring from Kadi’s face instantly lost its divine luminescence, crumbling into regular harmless beach dust that scattered harmlessly across the dirt.

The violent cyclone vanished as the divine pressure dissolved like smoke in the wind.

Silence returned to the arena.

Kadi blinked her sandy-brown eyes, rubbing her nose as she let out a soft cough.

"Achoo!" Kadi sneezed softly, looking around in complete confusion.

She looked up at Silas with a sweet innocent smile. "Umm... My Lord? Did something happen just now? I felt a little tickle in my throat..."

Silas stared at her, then looked at the fading system notification in front of his face.

’...That happened so fast,’ Silas thought, a dry smirk touching his lips. ’The poor bastard didn’t even last three seconds before the Sovereign Realm deleted his entire existence.’

All of it... the territory expansion, the divine manifestation, and the instant eradication had happened so insanely fast that none of the lower-ranked girls in the stadium had even been able to perceive what took place.

All they saw was the sky glowing, the territory expanding by a mile, and Kadi successfully digesting the golden seed.

"SHE DID IT!"

"CONGRATULATIONS, KADI!"

"OUR SECOND SECRETARY!"

Across the stadium bleachers, all the regular women stood up, bursting into a loud thunderous ovation, cheering Kadi’s name at the top of their lungs!

Kadi’s face lit up with overwhelming joy.

She stood up on her feet, waving happily at her comrades, before turning back to Silas and bowing deeply.

"Thank you, Lord Silas!" Kadi beamed radiantly, her sandy-brown hair fluttering in the warm breeze of their newly expanded territory. "I won’t let you down!"

Silas smiled, patting her shoulder. "Welcome to the executive team, Kadi. Let’s go check out our new land."

The leftover coarse sand from her transformation still dusted her shoulders and sandy-brown hair, but her brown eyes were bright and glowing with a fresh crisp elemental energy.

"But first," Silas said, stepping forward with his broad hands resting casually on his hips, "let’s see you demonstrate your power over the sand."

Kadi’s face lit up with eagerness, her eyes sparkling like a child given a new toy. "Yes, My Lord!"

She snapped her fingers with a sharp sound and her body dropped low into a fluid athletic casting stance.

’I won’t let my Lord down... Come to me!’

FWOOSH!

The loose dirt and pulverized sand settled across the crater floor instantly responded to her call.

Streams of fine, golden particles lifted off the ground like swirling ribbons of liquid metal, spiraling rapidly around her forearms and wrists in miniature sandstorms.

With a quick, precise flick of her wrist, Kadi guided the sand into a tight spinning vortex above her open palm.

She shifted her center of gravity, driving her right palm forward in a sharp, focused strike.

SWISH!

The swirling vortex of sand shot forward like a high-velocity cannonball, compressing and hardening in mid-air into a solid razor-sharp spear of compressed sandstone.

THWACK!

The sandstone spear impaled itself five inches deep into a heavy wooden support beam at the far edge of the arena, sending wood splinters flying into the air.

Before the dust from the impact could even settle, Kadi flexed her fingers, and the solid spear instantly de-crystallized back into loose flowing grains.

The sand flowed backwards through the air like a golden river, swirling around her shoulders in a graceful arc before settling gently onto the earth at her boots.

"I’m done my Lord!"

"That was amazing... you sure have a lot to learn, don’t worry, I’m here." Silas said as he patted her head making her eyes shine.

Up in the wooden stadium bleachers, the crowd of women clapped and cheered enthusiastically at the fluid display.

However, as the excitement began to settle down, a boisterous ringing voice called out from the Shieldmaiden section near the top rows.

"Hey, My Lord!" one of the heavily armored Shieldmaidens called out, leaning her forearms over the wooden railing with a wide cheeky grin. "Is there anything worth competing for us heavy hitters?! The Mages got a whole Royale tournament and an executive Secretary spot! Don’t the Shieldmaidens and the Archers get a chance to show off too?!"

Silas looked up toward the stands, letting out a short amused laugh as he scratched the back of his neck.

"Not really," Silas admitted honestly with his voice echoing across the arena. "I wish I had more high-tier martial weapons to give you guys right now... but that Secret Realm wasn’t exactly overflowing with martial treasure."

The crowd of women immediately began shouting back, waving their hands dismissively in unison to reassure him.

"Don’t worry about it, My Lord!"

"We understand!"

"You’ve already given us so much!"

"We just want to fight for you anyway!"

"We don’t need rewards to serve you, Lord Silas!"

Silas chuckled softly, but he wasn’t really buying their eager attempt to downplay their own desire for rewards.

He knew how hard his frontline warriors worked every single day on perimeter defense and monster clearing.

He wasn’t the type of Lord to leave his vanguard warriors empty-handed while the spellcasters celebrated a massive upgrade.

’They’re being sweet, but no way am I letting them walk away with nothing,’ Silas thought with a confident smirk touching his lips.

He reached his broad hand into his spatial Inventory, searching through his stored loot until his fingers brushed against a heavy embroidered silk pouch.

It was the bundle of rare, high-density elemental jewels that Aeli had snagged directly from Valerius’s stash while the ancient tomb was collapsing in on itself.

Without wasting another second, Silas pulled the heavy pouch out, untied the leather drawstrings, and scooped out the cluster of glowing multi-colored gems into his broad palm.

"Catch!" Silas shouted with a wide grin.

SWISH!

He tossed the entire bundle straight up into the air toward the packed stadium bleachers!

Fourteen radiant multi-colored gems flared brilliantly under the bright morning sunlight as they scattered across the sky like shooting stars.

He had already sold one to Elora previously, leaving fourteen high-density jewels, and he didn’t hesitate for a single second to throw them directly to the crowd.

"Keep whichever one you catch!" Silas roared.

The stadium instantly erupted into a wild competitive frenzy.

"MINE!" Thora the dwarf forge-mistress roared, her compact muscular frame launching off her wooden barrel like a stone shot from a catapult.

She reached up with her thick, soot-stained palm and caught a deep crimson Fire-Garnet right out of the air with an iron grip.

CLACK!

"Gotcha, you little beauty!" Thora cackled, landing heavily on her boots and admiring the glowing red gem.

Over near the upper bleachers, Fenna didn’t even bother jumping.

The sharp-eyed Archer smoothly drew a blunt wooden training arrow from her quiver, knocked it to her bowstring, and drew her bow back to her ear in a single fluid motion.

’Mine...’

THWIP! THWACK!

Her arrow flew across twenty meters of open air, pinning a bright green Wind-Emerald cleanly against a wooden support beam right by its delicate leather casing.

Fenna smirked, retrieving her prize with a sleek, dramatic bow to the cheering Archers beside her.

"Hehe~"

Down near the front railing, Brida flexed her massive S-Rank shoulders and reached out, catching a glowing Earth-Amber cleanly with one hand.

Her heavy gauntlet snapped shut around the gem like an iron vise.

SNAP!

"A fine addition to my shield pommel..." Brida grunted with a satisfied, broad grin.

Up in the elevated Lord’s viewing box, the highest-tier women moved with effortless casual dominance to claim their share.

Eluned didn’t even bother raising her hands from her lap.

’I like that one...’

A slender emerald-glowing plant root whipped out from the wooden floorboards beneath her chair, catching a sparkling Nature-Jade mid-flight and gently reeling it back into her waiting palm.

THWIP!
