"Anastasia, what are you doing out there in the rain?"

Damian’s deep voice cut through the sound of the heavy downpour. He stood under the porch of the grand estate, glaring at his wife.

Anastasia didn’t care. She laughed, spinning around with her arms wide open, soaking in the first rain of the season. Her sundress was completely drenched, sticking to her skin.

"I’m enjoying myself!" Ana shouted back, flashing him a mocking smile. "If you’re jealous of my happiness, you are free to leave!"

Damian’s jaw tightened. He stepped out into the freezing rain, his expensive leather shoes sinking into the wet grass. Before Ana could run, his large arms wrapped around her waist, lifting her effortlessly off her feet.

Ana gasped, pounding her fists against his broad chest. "Let me down, Damian! Put me back!"

"You are a crazy woman, Ana," he growled near her ear, carrying her easily up the stairs and back inside the house. "You are going to get sick tomorrow because of this."

"It’s not like you even care if I fall sick or not," she muttered bitterly.

Damian stopped walking right in the middle of her bedroom. "What did you just say?"

Ana snapped her head to the side, refusing to look at him.

He set her down on her feet. "Get changed. Before I lose my patience."

Ana grumpily turned to walk toward the closet, but her wet feet slipped on the slick hardwood floor. She shrieked, losing her balance.

Before she could hit the ground, Damian’s hand shot out, grabbing her waist and pulling her firmly against his warm chest.

He looked down at her, letting out a heavy sigh. "Stupid and clumsy... What a combination."

Ana’s eyes flared with anger. "I heard that! You really have a problem with me, don’t you?!"

She wrenched herself out of his grip, stomped over to the bed, and snatched a heavy down pillow. "You called me stupid? I’ll show you stupid!"

With a loud yell, she thrashed the pillow right against his shoulder.

Damian raised his arms, completely shocked as feathers flew into the air. "Ana! What are you... stop it!"

"No!" she laughed, hitting him again. "Say you’re sorry!"

To stop her completely, Damian lunged forward. He grabbed her wrists, using his massive weight to push her backward. They both tumbled onto the mattress, and in one swift motion, Damian pinned her down to the bed.

The anger and frustration instantly died out. The silence in the room became incredibly heavy, charged with a sudden, suffocating heat.

Ana lay trapped beneath him, her chest heaving as she looked up into his dark, dilated eyes. His wet hair was dripping water onto her face, and his body was scorching hot against her damp clothes.

"Let go of my hands," Ana whispered, her voice suddenly trembling, losing all its fight.

Instead of letting go, Damian pinned her wrists high above her head, his grip tight but careful. His gaze dropped down to her wet sundress, which clung transparently to the curves of her body, exposing everything to his burning eyes.

"You drive me insane, Anastasia," Damian growled, his voice dropping into a rough, low tone.

He bent down slowly, burying his face into the crook of her neck... kissing her softly. He bit down gently on her sweet skin, making her gasp out loud, her hips arching off the mattress instinctively. The friction of his heavy body against hers sent a hot jolt straight to her core.

Ana whimpered in pleasure, her fingers tangling into his damp hair the moment he released her wrists. She didn’t push him away. She pulled him closer, desperate for the warmth he had denied her for months.

"Damian..."

Damian didn’t hold back. "Ana..."

He stripped her wet clothes away with frantic, possessive movements, his hands marking every inch of her skin as if staking his claim.

He opened his own clothes looking at the naked glory of hers on the bed... writhing in want and waiting for him... "Fuck! You’re beautiful Ana... "

He climbed the bed parting her legs and he shifted in between them. He leaned down and whispered against her jaw, "stop looking at me like that Ana..." His hand caught her breast and kneaded it, making her gasp. "You have no idea what I am planning to do to you. You better not expect me to be gentle."

"I don’t... I just... want you Damian." She pants as Damian sucked hard on her right nipple while his other hand kneaded her left breast.

His eyes focused on face... he loved how she looked. A complete mess in pleasure.

His lips crashed on hers as he sucked on her lips mercilessly. His tongue claimed every inch of her mouth while she pulled him closer to her. His hands trails down her body and settles at her slick core... tracing circles down her wet fold without breaking the kiss.

Damian pulled from the kiss only when both were out of breath but... he didn’t stop there. "There’s no going back from here Ana... I’m claiming you now... do you understand?"

"Yes... claim me Damian."

Slowly... taking his time. He entered her, tearing her closed walls. She screamed... It was too much for her. Damian hissed in pleasure, "so tight." He moved in and out with deliberate rhythm for her to adjust. "Feel me Ana... as I can feel your heat." He held her waist and started pounding into her, increasing his pace.

Anastasia moaned out loud, arching her back to meet his movements. The pain she felt now gone replaced with sweet sensations throughout her body.

When he took her, it wasn’t gentle... it was a fierce, breathless collision of pure hunger. He drove into her with a heavy, unyielding rhythm that tore through her defenses, making her scream his name into the quiet room.

For the first time, she felt connected to him. She felt his heartbeat racing against her own, his rough palms wiping away her tears as he took her higher and higher until they both crashed over the edge together.

Holding her tightly against his chest in the dark, Damian had whispered against her damp hair, "You are mine, Ana. Don’t ever think about running from me."

Anastasia woke up with a sharp gasp.

The warm memory shattered, replaced by the low, steady hum of an engine.

She blinked through her blurry vision, looking around the luxurious, leather-lined interior of a private jet. She was tucked into a massive reclining seat, a soft cashmere blanket pulled up to her chin.

She wasn’t in the past anymore. The man who had held her so fiercely that night was now sitting across the aisle, completely cold, reading a business report on his tablet without even looking at her.

Damian didn’t look up from his tablet, but his voice cut through the hum of the jet. "You’re awake."

Ana pulled the blanket tighter around herself, her body stiffening. She kept her lips pressed shut, refusing to give him a verbal answer.

Across the aisle, a short, polished mahogany table sat between their luxury seats. Damian finally set his tablet down. He reached into his leather briefcase, pulled out a thick, official document, and slid it across the table toward her.

Printed across the top in bold letters were the words. Co-Habitation and Absolute Obedience Addendum.

"The training period at the estate is officially over," Damian said, his voice cold, dark, and businesslike. He leaned forward, resting his forearms on the table, pinning her with his sharp gaze. "The moment this jet touches the tarmac in Manhattan, your duties as my slave begin. Sign it."

Ana stared at the paper, her hands trembling beneath the blanket. She glared up at him, her eyes flashing with pure hatred, but she didn’t say a word.

Inside, however, she was losing a brutal war against her own body.

The seat beneath her felt incredibly uncomfortable. The heavy, restless ache he had deliberately sparked in his study last night hadn’t gone away.

It had only grown tighter, throbbing painfully with every hour that passed. Damian had walked away right after pushing her to the edge, leaving her completely unfulfilled.

As she looked at his sharp jawline and the intense dark of his eyes, a wave of self-loathing washed over her.

She hated him. She hated what he was doing to her. But as her pulse raced and her lower stomach tightened, Ana had to finally admit the terrifying truth to herself.

She was still attracted to him.

Even after the neglect, the heartbreak, and the agony of the last two years, her body still violently craved his touch.

Damian noticed the slight flush creeping up her neck. A slow, cruel smirk pulled at the corner of his lips, showing he knew exactly what kind of torture she was enduring. He tapped his finger against the contract.

"I don’t have all day, Anastasia. Pick up the pen."
