After about an hour, Wang Yi discovered a great mountain.

Celestial Escape Star was a vast land. Along the way, Wang Yi had seen countless plains, ravines, deep valleys, and giant pits, but this was the only mountain he had seen.

The mountain was enormous. Its highest peak was likely ten thousand meters tall, and its range stretched for at least several thousand miles, visible from a great distance.

This person was draped in a kasaya, sitting cross-legged on a stone platform with his eyes lightly closed. He was handsome, with a red dot on his glabella. His head was covered in coiled knots of hair, similar to a Buddha’s "pineapple" hairstyle, but long, straight silver hair flowed from his temples and the back of his head.

Chains were also bound to his wrists and ankles, their other ends disappearing into the ground.

Behind this person stood a towering Jade Pendant. It was clearly one of the Hexagonal Jade Pendants, covered in complex patterns and the script of the Ancient Gods.

Wang Yi remained impassive, his gaze falling upon the seated figure.
