"That’s the Mad God!"

Tie Suifeng’s expression changed. He quickly lowered his head and squeezed his eyes shut.

He knew some information about the Mad Secret Realm and warned Yin Kui, saying, "Golden Lion, if you don’t want to die, close your eyes! Don’t make eye contact with the Mad God!"

Yin Kui frowned. He couldn’t see any identifying information for the Golden Armor Corpse ahead, only sensing that it was not weak. However, he was also very confident in his own strength.

’This Jade Cauldron guy is only around level one hundred, but my real level is 401. This corpse in front of me should just be a mini-boss in this Secret Realm. There’s no way it’s stronger than me, right?’

A faint smirk appeared on Yin Kui’s face. Seeing Tie Suifeng close his eyes, he did not. Instead, he looked defiantly at the Golden Armor Corpse, cupped his hands in a salute, and said, "Junior Golden Lion greets Senior!"

Following the salute, the Golden Armor Corpse’s figure swayed slightly. The smirk on Yin Kui’s face, however, suddenly froze. He then staggered back three steps and spat out a mouthful of blood.

’Holy shit, it’s a backlash! This Golden Armor Corpse... is absurdly strong!’

Yin Kui was horrified, feeling like a fool. However, the force of the backlash was far more powerful than he had imagined. He coughed up three more mouthfuls of blood, then his head grew heavy, and he collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

"Golden Lion! Golden Lion, what did you do?"

Tie Suifeng shouted, but there was no response. He snorted and added, "You useless piece of trash, don’t tell me you’ve already been killed?"

This time, however, a voice responded, and it was right next to his ear: "O-he-ne-lo-ze-yi-dao-shi-zha!"

Tie Suifeng couldn’t understand the meaning of the words. He knew the Golden Armor Corpse had come up right beside him, and the hairs on the back of his neck couldn’t help but stand on end. He thought to himself, ’This thing came over to me? This is terrifying. It needs to leave, now!’

After a moment, Tie Suifeng heard no more sounds. He carefully opened his eyes and saw a pair of War Boots in front of him, then quickly squeezed them shut again.

’Dammit, why hasn’t this Mad God left yet? Don’t tell me he’s fixed his sights on me!’

Tie Suifeng didn’t know what to do. If the Mad God was watching him, there was nothing he could do.

Just then, the unconscious Yin Kui came to. He slowly sat up, saw the Golden Armor Corpse right beside him, and quickly shut his eyes.

He had learned his lesson. The Golden Armor Corpse’s strength was beyond imagination, and he didn’t dare make another reckless move.

"Hey, Brother Yuding, are we just going to keep our eyes closed forever?"

Yin Kui asked.

"Huh, you’re not dead yet?" Tie Suifeng said. "Keep them closed for now. Wait for this Mad God to leave!"

"When is he going to leave?"

"I don’t know. Just wait!"

Suddenly, a third voice rang out. "Haha, I’ve finally found you two idiots!"

The speaker was none other than Li Jikong. He too had arrived. Seeing Tie Suifeng and Yin Kui with their eyes shut tight, he laughed and said, "A couple of doofuses. You only know half the story. It’s my lucky day to catch you. I’ll have my revenge for what happened before. Taste my sword!"

With that, the Long Rainbow Sword Immortal pointed a finger at Yin Kui. A Flying Sword shot out from behind his back like a rainbow streak, stabbing swiftly toward Yin Kui.

The move looked unremarkable, but it was actually Li Jikong’s killing blow, named [Long Rainbow Piercing the Sun]. It possessed immense piercing power.

Yin Kui sensed the attack and immediately spun around. His right hand transformed into a Dragon Claw, and he thrust it forward. With a CRACK, he caught the Long Rainbow Sword Radiance. With a slight exertion of force, he actually crushed the Flying Sword within into three pieces.

"You’re that old scammer! You actually followed us here!"

Yin Kui frowned. He could tell it was Li Jikong who had followed them, but he still didn’t dare open his eyes, afraid of drawing the Mad God’s ire.

Tie Suifeng spoke up, "Who are you? We’re all Players, and we have no past grievances. Why must you press us so hard? The Secret Treasures on this second level have already been completely plundered. Why don’t we work together to figure out how to enter the third level of the Secret Realm? We might still be able to get some benefits!"

In truth, Li Jikong was also horrified.

The first time he fought Yin Kui, he had been suspicious, thinking he’d been tricked. But after this second exchange, he was certain that Yin Kui was a master playing the pig to eat the tiger. Someone who could so easily crush his Long Rainbow Flying Sword had to be far stronger than him.

’This is just not my year. Why do I keep running into masters? How am I supposed to rob anyone like this? Getting any benefits is just too damn hard!’

Li Jikong sighed silently. With a shift of his eyes, he ignored Yin Kui and Tie Suifeng. He looked at the Golden Armor Corpse and yelled, "Ha-la-shao! Ha-la-shao!"

Upon hearing this, the Golden Armor Corpse took several steps back and stood to the side, as if clearing a path for Li Jikong.

Li Jikong didn’t delay any further. His body transformed into a long rainbow and flew toward the Profound Celestial Stele at extreme speed. In a flash of light, he was teleported away.

"Hm?"

Yin Kui’s ears twitched. He said, "Brother Yuding, what’s going on? It looks like that guy teleported away! Why didn’t the Mad God stop him?"

"I... How would I know?"

Tie Suifeng was also baffled. He knew some of the Mad Secret Realm’s hidden secrets, but not many.

"Could it be a secret code?" Yin Kui recalled what Li Jikong had just shouted. He carefully opened his eyes, faced the Golden Armor Corpse, and yelled, "Ha-la-shao! Ha-la-shao!"

The Golden Armor Corpse did not react.

Yin Kui’s eyes narrowed. He used his skills again, his body transforming into a draconic shadow as he charged toward the Profound Celestial Stele.

He decided to try and force his way through!

The Golden Armor Corpse suddenly moved. It threw a punch right beside itself, but Yin Kui, who was charging toward the Profound Celestial Stele, was suddenly sent flying backward. He had taken a heavy blow that knocked him out of his transformation. He flew a hundred meters before landing on the ground, coughing up large mouthfuls of blood.

"What the fuck, didn’t I say the secret code? And what kind of attack was that? It was way too accurate!"
