The doors of the townhouse study slammed shut with a loud thud.

Zen turned around, his eyes flashing dangerously as he activated the maximum-security wards on the room. A shimmering blue energy field snapped into place over the walls, sealing the study entirely from the rest of the house.

He was furious.

"Sit down," Zen commanded.

Aurelia and Selene, who had been quietly following him since they arrived back at the residential district, exchanged a quick glance before moving toward the leather sofa in the center of the room.

Aurelia moved with her usual regal grace, crossing her legs and resting her hands on her lap. She looked entirely unapologetic.

Selene, on the other hand, sat nervously on the edge of the cushions, her hands clasped tightly together, though her silver eyes never left Zen’s face.

"Do you have any idea what you just did?" Zen demanded, pacing in front of them. The D-Rank suppression ring on his finger throbbed as his heart rate spiked. "You deliberately escalated a minor anomaly into a D-Rank threat. You risked my cover. And you deliberately terrified an innocent student."

"Innocent?" Aurelia scoffed, her golden mana sparking faintly around her fingertips. "She is a parasite, Zen. A D-Rank commoner leeching off your presence. She doesn’t belong anywhere near you. The fact that you even allow her to sleep in the same house as us is an insult to the Crown Domain."

"She is my friend," Zen said, his voice dropping into a lethal whisper. "And my anchor. I have told you this."

"I can be your anchor!" Selene cried, jumping to her feet. Tears welled up in her beautiful silver eyes. "I am the Saintess! I can cleanse your mind, your body, your soul! Why do you let her touch you? Why do you let her try to cast those pathetic, weak barriers to protect you? It is my job to protect you! It is my divine right!"

"She is a liability," Aurelia added, standing up to join Selene. The Empress stepped closer to Zen, her amber eyes burning with intense, unapologetic possessiveness. "We are S-Rank. We are Goddesses. We have the power, the wealth, and the authority to give you the world. Why do you waste your time playing school with children?"

Zen stopped pacing and looked at the two of them.

Their desperation was practically radiating off them in waves. Aurelia had thrown millions of credits at him, and Selene had offered her holy magic at every turn, yet both of them were practically vibrating with the frantic need to claim a deeper position in his life.

And Maya’s mere presence was pushing their fragile patience past the breaking point.

"Because I want a normal life," Zen said slowly, trying to reason with the unreasonable. "Because I don’t want to conquer the world again. I just want to live."

"Then live with me," Aurelia whispered, taking another step forward. She was entirely in his personal space now, the scent of expensive vanilla and ozone filling his senses. "I will build you a palace. I will buy you a continent. You don’t need a normal life, Zen. You just need me."

"No, he needs us," Selene corrected softly, stepping up to Zen’s other side. Her holy mana washed over him, completely neutralizing the exhaustion in his muscles. "He needs devotion. Unconditional devotion."

The atmosphere in the warded study shifted violently.

The anger in the room evaporated, replaced by a suffocating, heavy tension that made the air feel thick and intoxicating.

Aurelia reached out, her manicured fingers gently tracing the collar of his tactical jacket. Her golden eyes were dilated, entirely focused on his lips.

"You rely on Valeria’s strength," Aurelia murmured, her voice dropping to a husky, sensual whisper. "You rely on Lyra’s mind. But what do you rely on me for, Zen? Only money? Only sponsorship? I am a woman. I am an Empress. I demand more."

Zen’s breath hitched slightly. The sheer intensity of her aura was overwhelming, pressing against his suppressed D-Rank core.

"Aurelia," Zen warned, his voice straining. "Step back."

"Make me," she challenged softly, her hands sliding down from his collar to rest flat against his chest. She could feel his heart beating, the steady, rhythmic pulse of the Emperor of the World.

On his other side, Selene reached up, her soft hands gently framing his face.

"You look at us like we are soldiers," Selene whispered, her tears completely forgotten, replaced by a dark, obsessive hunger in her silver eyes. "Like we are tools for your empire. But we are not. We are yours. Completely."

Selene stepped closer, her soft curves pressing intimately against his side. "Let us show you, Zen. Let us prove that you don’t need that commoner girl. You only need us."

Zen was trapped.

If he pushed them away with physical force, he risked hurting them or blowing up the room. If he used his Emperor aura to suppress them, he would break the balance of the suppression ring.

And on a purely primal level, the combined, aggressive seduction of two breathtakingly beautiful Goddesses was actively eroding his legendary stoicism.

Aurelia smiled, sensing his hesitation.

She leaned in, her lips hovering mere millimeters from his ear. "I have never shared anything in my life, Zen," she whispered, her breath hot against his skin. "But for you... I am willing to compromise with the Saintess. Just tonight."

Selene’s hands slipped lower, tracing the line of his jaw before moving down to his chest, her fingers deftly unzipping the top of his tactical jacket. The holy mana radiating from her skin felt like a warm, addictive drug, numbing his mind and melting his resistance.

"Just let go," Selene pleaded softly, leaning in to kiss his neck.

The tension reached its breaking point. The air in the study was vibrating, heavy with lust and unspoken promises.

Zen’s hands moved, lightly gripping Aurelia’s waist, while his other hand brushed against Selene’s arm. He was losing the battle. The logic core he relied on so heavily was completely malfunctioning under the sheer weight of their coordinated assault.

Aurelia tilted her head, her lips parting as she moved in to claim his mouth.

BOOM.

The doors of the study literally exploded into a thousand splinters.

The reinforced, high-security wards shattered like cheap glass, dissolving into a shower of blue sparks as a colossal, terrifying shockwave of kinetic energy ripped through the room.

Zen, Aurelia, and Selene instantly broke apart, spinning toward the destroyed doorway.

Valeria stood in the hallway, her crimson eyes glowing with murderous fury. Her Vanguard aura was flaring so violently that the floorboards beneath her boots were smoking. She wasn’t holding her broadsword, but her fists were clenched so tightly her knuckles were white.

Right behind her stood Lyra. The Goddess of Aether was usually calm, but right now, the geometric equations orbiting her body were jagged and jagged red, signaling a massive spike in emotional instability.

"What," Valeria snarled, her voice vibrating with a terrifying, primal rage, "are you two doing?"

Aurelia did not look guilty. She looked furious that she had been interrupted.

"We were having a private meeting," Aurelia snapped, her golden mana flaring aggressively as she stepped in front of Zen. "And you just destroyed an imported oak door, you barbarian."

"A private meeting?" Lyra repeated, her voice trembling with barely contained anger. She glared at Selene, who was hurriedly trying to adjust her sundress. "My spatial sensors detected a massive spike in localised body heat and adrenaline within this warded zone. The probability that you were engaging in diplomatic discourse is zero percent."

Valeria took a slow, heavy step into the study.

"You tried to sneak him away," Valeria growled, glaring at Aurelia and Selene. "You dragged him in here, locked the door, and tried to steal a march on us while we were in the living room."

"He is not a prize to be stolen!" Selene cried, stepping forward defensively. "We were merely comforting him after the stress of dealing with that commoner girl!"

"Comforting him?" Valeria laughed, a dark, terrifying sound. "I saw where your hands were, Saintess. If I hadn’t broken the door down, you two would be on that desk right now."

"And what if we were?" Aurelia challenged, raising her chin in defiance. "I am his betrothed. I have the right to claim him."

The townhouse began to groan under the pressure of the four conflicting S-Rank auras.

The windows in the study cracked, the glass spider-webbing as the magical tension in the room escalated to catastrophic levels.

Zen stood in the center of the room, slowly zipping his jacket back up.

The headache that had started in the foyer was back, pounding with a vengeance.

He looked at the four powerful women, standing in the ruins of his study, ready to literally tear the building down to the foundation out of sheer, unadulterated jealousy over him.

"That’s it," Zen muttered to himself, stepping out of the study and walking past Valeria and Lyra.

"Zen? Where are you going?" Valeria demanded, her aura instantly dropping in panic.

"I am going for a walk," Zen said coldly, not looking back. "If this house is a crater when I get back, I am sending you back to your domains."

He didn’t wait for a response. He walked down the stairs, out the front door, and into the cool night air, desperately needing an escape from the madness.

Back in the destroyed study, the four Goddesses stood in complete silence, watching him leave.

The anger slowly faded, replaced by a dawning, horrifying realization.

"He left," Lyra stated quietly. "Our conflicting variables resulted in a negative outcome. We drove him away."

Valeria looked at Aurelia. Aurelia looked at Selene.

"This fighting," Aurelia said slowly, her amber eyes narrowing as a terrifying, cold logic began to take hold. "It isn’t working. We are sabotaging each other, and it is only giving that parasite on the second floor an opening."

Valeria crossed her arms. "So what are you suggesting, Empress?"

Aurelia turned to face the other three, her expression completely serious.

"I am suggesting a true alliance," Aurelia whispered. "No more fighting. No more sabotaging. We share him, just like Nyx suggested. We coordinate. We monopolize every single second of his time, and we lock him down until he realizes he doesn’t need anyone else in this world but us."

The Goddesses exchanged a long, terrifying look.

The Yandere Alliance had just been born.
