Succubus-san’s Life in Another World

Carriage Journey Supper

"Ugh..."

"Lily, are you okay?

"OK... OK..."

Me and Urania are currently traveling by carriage. Based on my last reflection, I tried to buy a cushion with high money, but every time I had a comfortable carriage, it was only on the first day. After the second day, I can't stand sitting all the time, the cushion becomes uneven every time the carriage rocks, and vice versa, it becomes uncomfortable to sit.

As a result, frustrated with the cushion's sitting comfort, I repeatedly removed the cushion, my buttocks hurt and laid it down, so annoying that on the third day I completely punished the cushion. I was never ashamed to be seen by other passengers smiling at me to lay or punish a cushion.

As you can see from the course of the story, the carriage you are riding this time is not a boarding carriage to the 'Abyss Forest'. From the city of Motoshi to the northwest side, a city that has been rocked for about five days by carriage, Sekitug is the destination.

Sequitug is a city the size of which is smaller than Motoshi itself, but it is also said to be a sacred place for adventurers because of its four dungeons, east, west and north.

With that influence, Sekitsugu's Adventurer Guild seems to be bigger than Motoshi's and has more permanent staff. With exams supervised by exams among them, adventurers belonging to the guild in the surrounding city appear to be routinely taking promotion exams in the city of Sequitug.

"Ha, well, but we're done here today."

"Mmm, I'll make you a meal."

"I asked for it. I'll have a tent (bed)."

The carriage I used this time is a long-distance carriage that goes back and forth between Motoshi and Sekitugu. In the meantime, there is a village, but it is not suitable for accommodation because it is a little far from the street. For this reason, there are several unmanned accommodations between Motoshi and Sekitugu, and the facility will be used.

Of course, there are no portions available for all carriage users, so an additional fee will be required to use the accommodation. It's not an amount that we can't pay, but we decided to do what we can to help ourselves, set up a tent, and prepare our own meals.

To be honest, I can't say that I would use it with Urania, but I didn't think that a bed more comfortable than the one I made in [Dream Creativity] would be in an accommodation that was barely even cared for. At the end of the day, meals can be prepared at the first cost, but we decided to make them ourselves, mostly because we said it was better than eating them as they were with a little hand in the preserved food.

"You're eating as good as ever."

"We're not gonna do this?

"I haven't said anything yet!

Sekitugu's C-rank adventurer Jildo has been the one who has been talking to me looking at soups like Borsicici made by Urania. He was an adventurer from the Empire, apparently returning home after a slightly lengthy request. It seems that the Empire is still at war with the three Oriental countries, but the West is at peace. It would be different again if it were on the front line, but they still don't do it every day.

"Didn't you come to Rice Takari?

"No, well, yes..."

So this man, what are you doing here, he came to get some rice? On the first day, I smelled the curry rice noodles that I made (because I didn't have enough spices), and I looked at them too closely, so I lost my comfort and fed them. He's a different dog-like man than Urania, but he's a pure human being in and of himself.

"Nice, huh? I'll pay for it. I'm tired of dried meat."

"Haa… Urania"

"Mmm, just come on."

Saying so, Urania sticks one hand open, or par, against the jild.

"Yo! That's a deal!

"Is that okay..."

The amount Ulania showed, which is about 5,000 yen for five large silver coins, or Japanese yen. It is true that Uranian handicrafts are worth that much, and the rare value of dishes made with fresh ingredients, such as these accommodations, cannot be measured in monetary terms. It's never botched that Urania showed it, but normally only the rich or the fools would give such an amount for a meal.

"No, really, I'm tired of living just dried meat."

"I don't care if you like us..."

We're on the profit side, and Urania makes soup in anticipation of Jildo eating, so we don't complain. I mean, I feel a little heartbroken by the botched price, but if it gets too cheap, not only the zilds, but even the other customers come to takari for our rice.

I don't have enough ingredients to cover all the passengers on the boulder, so I dare you to keep offering me a botched price because then I get into a lot of trouble, but this guy pays it lightly without even knowing it.
