Summoned Slaughterer

20.Like Toy Soldiers [Disturbing Town]

Pajos, ignoring completely the knights on the Orson Grande side and the only Vichy soldier Alyssa has been silenced, one, two, three spoke to the Origa.

"Well, let's go."

Saying, Alyssa hastily stopped one, two, three going to retrieve her own horse.

"Hey, wait a minute! You're just gonna leave me like this?

"Ah? It's none of my business. I killed him because he attacked me. That's all."

Throw it away, we're just on our way to retrieve the horse.

"Oh, that's who I am. You shouldn't mind.... You're on Vichy's side, aren't you? My name is Pajo, knight of the Orson Grande. What about you?"

"Oh, I'm Alyssa. He's a soldier with no particular title..."

Differences in character from his opponent cause Alyssa to shrivel and have a smaller voice unexpectedly.

Pajo laughed elegantly and offered his right hand.

"Now let us rejoice in your survival."

Shaking hands, Alyssa felt a little calm.

(I kind of feel like an adult woman person...)

"So here's what we're going to talk about. As a country, we will put in place a system as soon as possible, and we will have the same immigration and exit controls as before. Our country's criminals are also involved, so the bodies of the killers and our soldiers will be recovered here"

"Ah, yes"

Alyssa accepted Pajo's words, which continued to flow.

By nature, Vichy's body should be an important material for the investigation, beyond the damage that has been done to Vichy. Besides, it is technically a case within Vichy, as only a few places entered the Vichy side have become the main crime scene.

Alyssa is sure to be reprimanded and penalized just for this.

(Poor thing......)

While waiting for one, two, three, Oliga, who was listening to the conversation between the two, turned a merciful eye to Alyssa, but Alyssa herself seemed unaware.

In contrast, Pajo was laughing inside out that he was able to deceive and monopolize the investigative material.

(I'm glad it hasn't been a case since I totally got inside Vichy. After the rampage over there, when I found out I was a former knight, it was about to be a big problem)

Anyway, Pajo was relieved that the problem he was about to encounter had not become more complicated than expected.

"So, Mr. Alyssa... does Vichy side not have to be called for backup?

"It was! Oh, but... you can't just leave no one here on Vichy's side."

For merchants and travelers to cross here, they will need the signatures of representatives from both countries and the stamp of permission. If you have a lost pass on either side, you will be considered a clandestine immigrant.

There is, of course, a defence aspect, and emptying this place on either side would be a problem.

Vichy's side is wiped out, and he has no means of communication. One, two, three came back on horseback where Alyssa was worried about what to do.

"Pajo, I need you to go through the exit process."

One, two, and three said as he handed over the papers, Pajo received them and turned to the receptionist on the Orson Grande's side, pressing his mark. In the meantime, support the soldier who brought him in to retrieve the body.

"Hey, hey."

To one, two, three waiting for Pajo, Alyssa speaks with no hesitation.

"What?

"Hey, do me a favor..."

Alyssa asked one, two, three to ask for a message to the city's soldier's quarters, which would enter Vichy and hit him first along the street.

"I just need you to tell me what's going on and tell me I asked for backup."

One, two, three thought for a while before accepting.

"I just need you to tell me about Vichy's city placement."

"Fine! Thanks!"

Alyssa seems to enjoy explaining the city to the capital along the streets, fully believing in why one, two, three has made it, wanting to cross and see the appropriately large city.

"Then you can reach the capital in 10 days by carriage."

To Oliga's question, Alyssa answers with a smile.

"That's right. From here to the capital, to the border of Holland, there's a big curve drawing down the street."

"Heh, Horlant's magic props come down that road."

When Kasha is impressed, one, two, three utters the question.

"Hmm? Orson Grande and Holland would be bordering too. Gonna go all the way around?

This question was commented on by Pajo, who came back.

Originally, when Holland was founded as an independent state by one genius wizard, he said, he pretty much eroded Orson Grande's national territory. There were several fights there, and although there is some interaction nowadays, there is little direct movement, he said.

"Mr. Alyssa, this, please"

"Oh, I get it!

One, two, three. Pajo continues after he sees that Alyssa, who received their pass, has gone far enough away.

"So if the Wizard of Holland has entered the country“ legally, "it's also possible that he has Vichy's official exit permit."

If you leave the country with someone's guide from Vichy and Viscount Haagenti on the receiving side also gives you a formal entry permit, you can move freely in the Orson Grande.

So, I don't know to what level, but there will be a lot of forces inside Vichy that will connect with Holland, Pajo guesses.

"That's what makes Bailevra and whoever's behind it more likely."

One, two, three, have become more and more troublesome with the contents that are becoming more confusing, but it is not irresponsible enough to refuse a request I received once without leaving the country.

"Well, anyway, let's go in Vichy and have a look at some things"

One, two, three, who received a permit from returning Alyssa, told Origa and Kasha to leave.

Alyssa says you'll continue along the street and take a carriage for about two hours to reach a city called Alosale.

Hours after pulling the carriage and proceeding slowly, as Alyssa explained, I could see the city surrounded by a fence. Because it's a city close to the border, like the Focarol on the Orthon Grande side, it seems to be built to be capable of defensive warfare at times.

"Well, it doesn't look like the city of our country."

One, two, three felt the same way about Kasha. Because it's a close place, it doesn't make much cultural difference. Honestly, I thought maybe the food that was ok at Orson Grande would be ok because I was worried about Vichy but not so far away from Focarol either.

When I showed my permit at the city entrance and told the head of the soldier here I needed help, he told me where the blockage was.

"It's a lot of monkey security. I mean, the gatekeeper was a strangely mechanical response."

"Kikaiteki?"

"I don't see a lot of emotional ups and downs, and I'm just repeating what I've decided to do."

"Oh, but isn't that what a serious soldier looks like?

"... I think Kasha should be a little more nervous"

If you don't mind, one, two, three went into the described stuffing and when you showed them the coin and told them that it was the Associate Knight of the Orthon Grande, the person responsible came out.

A man with no hallmark in middle meat in simple armor came out of the back, looking straight into the eyes of one, two, three, and asking what it was for.

That eye, it's out of focus somewhere.

"A female soldier named Alyssa would belong. That's his message."

When one, two, three, explains that the stuffed soldiers were asked to explain that they had been killed, other than Alyssa, and to communicate their request for backup, the man says, "Thank you for your cooperation," in a flat voice with little discouragement, with no feeling of gratitude at all.

"Are you staying here today? Let's hear about the inn."

"I'm going to stay, but I haven't decided to stay"

"Now, if you go further along the street to the back of the city, there's a beautiful room, so you should do it there. Others won't be suitable for nobles to stay."

"Well, then let's do it"

Though I thought it was an obvious inducement, I was concerned about how this man was doing, and one, two, three, decided to dare to follow suit.

"Okay, we're going to the border, so now excuse me"

The man thanked one, two, three, and then took his men out.

"It's a strange reaction between the soldiers at the gate and the man in charge earlier."

It is terribly disrespectful to your husband, who is an aristocrat. And, Origa expressed her dissatisfaction.

"Oh, I've seen a guy in that condition somewhere before... I wonder where he was"

"After all, like the folks at Focarol, are the guys here doing something wrong, too?

As I pulled my horse and walked while we talked about that, I accompanied him to the inn. It was in the word taught, there was the letter of the inn, so I also found it in one, two, three.

"Here."

Connecting the horse to the table and pushing open the wooden door, a small counter, a dining room and a large room were spread out.

"There you are. 10 silver coins per room per night and 17 for two. There's no room for more than three people. Looks like you brought a horse. Three silver coins a head. I'll move you to the back stables."

My unfathomable grandfather, who was at the counter, looked me in the face and said the amount.

"I'm in one room, I'm in two."

When he stacked silver coins on the counter, his grandfather took out two keys from under the counter.

"This is for one room, this is for two. All the rooms are upstairs. We'll have dinner before sundown, so come to this room."

When I said the number was on the key, I just told him what I needed to do, and my grandfather shut up.

Without thanking him, he received the key, and one, two, three, went upstairs.

"Sleep a little before dinner. It could be moving from night to night."

"Is there something you want?

"If you seriously think about it, the guys on their way to the border will check on the ground, and then some of them will come back to report to the center. It will be night in time. If there's a move, the first time is there."

I decided to have lunch now in the proper dining room in the neighborhood before resting and after dinner I would monitor the streets from the Origa's room.

"Alyssa wouldn't be the enemy. If she was such an asshole, she wouldn't be up to the plot, and her people wouldn't be able to. I guess we should see how the guys who come back move."

When he heard it, he said without hesitation that he was going to be angry, and one, two, three went into his room and said:

"There's going to be another commotion."

Oliga laughs nicely as Kasha shakes her head to do it.

"But I think it would be better if we could grab a little foothold than looking for Bailevra in the dark clouds"

While following Origa into the room, Kasha wondered if that was the case too.

"... you're the easy ones to understand"

On the second floor of the inn, one, two, three, who was asking about the street from a thinly opened wooden door, groaned small. The room is dark because the lights are not on to avoid the light leaking and distraction.

Some time after the fall of the sun, several men in armor walked past the path where the public was also cut off.

By that time, one, two, three, who was completely used to his eyes at night, clearly saw among the men, a small figure tied up in the back hand and walking with a yo-yo. When I went through the front of the inn, I also confirmed that it was Alyssa.

Did he get beaten badly, swollen his left cheek, and the blood flowing from his mouth is dry without being able to wipe it off.

They seem to have walked a long distance, from time to time their feet are about to stop, but each time they are kicked up from behind and forced to move on.

When asked about the situation they saw, Origa and Kasha muttered that they were both “terrible”.

"Looks like you were taken to a different place than the stuffing you went to at noon. Now, what do we do..."

"Your husband said it was easy to understand, but why was Alyssa caught? I'm a soldier of my own country..."

I can't see my face, but I can tell it's origa by my voice and the way I talk.

"Isn't it because he survived seeing that crime scene?

"Then why did you take me alive? If you mean to erase witnesses, you had as many chances as you could between coming here and the border.

"There's one reason I keep the guy alive who knows I'm in trouble to be known. To see who else found out about the secret. Torture, drugs... drugs?

Behind the brains of one, two, three, is remembered the soldiers of this city that were at noon.

"That's right. Medicine, I remember! I do think there was an example of how addiction to drugs in the mental stabilization system made my emotions seem out like that. If so, you mean you could be under the influence of a magic fixture similar to that ex-knight... you're here"

It was one, two, three that was sorting out speculation in words, but I looked up unexpectedly.

"What have you done?

"Are you wearing gear? Apparently, we should catch him, too. Ten people are approaching the inn."

You want to fight here? We need to get out the magic fixtures of the lights... "

"No, once I pull it off, I'll do it. Let's find Alyssa first and help her. Because of the signs, I don't think I've been that far."

"What!?

"Kasha, why are you so surprised?

"No, I don't think it's like your husband to help a girl or pull once the enemy is here..."

He said to Kasha, who seems seriously surprised, that one, two, three is out of his mind that his impression is serious and bad.

"I've told you before I'm not a homicidal maniac. Alyssa may have heard something from the soldiers, and by pulling her into this side, she'll be worth using for her upcoming investigation. Besides, about 10 people won't be a prep movement, and I haven't taught you how to fight at night yet. I'm going to bump into them again anyway. You just have to kill him then."

In the end, Kasha was reassured the other way around that she was going to kill him.

Apparently, Oliga also says, "That's your husband," etc. in a hobby manner.

(Is this guy really making fun of me?

With suspicion, for example, one, two, three, who took out the sickle, quietly opens the wooden door completely.

When he hurled up the sickle quickly, pulled the chain and confirmed that it had been stabbed firmly on the wooden roof, he climbed the chain as he left it.

One, two, three voices came from above, as the Kashas were bewildered, before every rocking chain.

"If you can't climb, I'll pull you up, so grab the chain and hang. One at a time."

The door of the room was opened, not long after the frightened but somehow ended up on the roof. Apparently, the innkeeper gave him the keys.

"... have you escaped"

The guys who stepped in walked away after a man's voice said he was the one responsible for meeting him during the day and sounded him searching around the room.

Standing on the roof, one, two, three, watching the soldiers leave again in the darkness of the night in the direction where Alyssa was taken, was quietly delighted when they found a new prey.
