Chapter 1929: Transmutation Garden
"In that case, why don’t we just use it as an experiment? I can help you create that liquid."
"Now, that’s a problem. I already have the method and the production method. The only thing I don’t have is the time to make it." Nathan shook his head. He was practically telling her that he could make it at any time.
The only thing he wanted was a benefit because this research might help her other experiments.
Catalith was trying to lower Nathan’s guard all this time, but it turned out Nathan was doing the same thing. He was the one who actually succeeded in changing her interest.
"I guess your world is not so friendly." Catalith shook her head helplessly, admitting her defeat.
Nathan shrugged. "To defeat the black cell, I have no choice but to be cruel. I don’t expect anyone to help me, so I might as well try to get as much benefit as possible from them."
Catalith could understand Nathan. When Nathan asked her to fight the black cell, she could only promise that she would help her, not her world. Catalith knew that the other true gods might not be willing to fight the aliens.
They remembered what happened to the human god a long time ago. If they fought the aliens, they might fall. Their race would be looked down upon like the current human race.
Nathan must know that they weren’t going to help him for free. Hence, he might as well squeeze their pockets as much as possible.
"So, you really are going to fight the black cell... like for real?" Catalith asked for confirmation.
"Yes. I’ll either succeed or die trying." Nathan nodded. "Because we don’t have much time left."
"Much time left?" Catalith frowned.
"Don’t you know already? The alien’s Outer Gods are still resisting the mind control of the black cell. The moment the black cell removes its consciousness and completely controls them, it will be over for everyone. Those Outer Gods will start to be on the offensive and destroy everything. They might even use that power to expand the Great Void." Nathan chuckled.
"What?" Catalith looked at Nathan dumbfoundedly, never expecting the situation was this dire. "Are you sure about that? You’re not lying? I know about the Outer Gods. One of them killed the human god, so..."
Nathan nodded with a serious expression. "Yeah. I got the information from one of the aliens that still hasn’t been controlled by the black cell. According to him, we only have approximately three hundred years left.
"Well, that alien is strong... very strong. Even though he’s not an Outer God, he’s strong enough to defeat you."
Nathan still believed that Cthulhu’s power was at the true god level, but because of his supernatural ability, he should be slightly more powerful than his true god.
That was why he believed that Cthulhu was still stronger than Catalith.
Cthulhu’s strength was more than enough to convince her.
Catalith looked down as her hand supported her chin. She fell into deep thought.
After two minutes of silence, Catalith raised her head and looked Nathan in the eye. "Come with me. I do have something I want to show you."
Catalith guided them to a whole different section. In fact, the place was sealed. Nathan could feel the power protecting the gate.
Catalith placed her hand on the gate and channeled her power. "Transmute."
Her power spread all over the gate as a thin layer of energy that protected the gate disappeared.
She opened the door.
"You mentioned you don’t have any interest in transmutation, but all my research is related to transmutation in one way or another. Even the ones with aliens can only be done with transmutation.
"In that case, this might pique your interest." Catalith revealed what was behind the door.
It turned out that there was a massive botanical garden inside. The garden looked like a fancy park that he had only seen on the internet.
Nathan looked left and right, noticing what was different from the plants there. "Transmutation, huh?"
Catalith smiled. "Indeed. I’m using transmutation to change the properties of these plants to something like magical plants.

"They, of course, will be quite useful as ingredients for a lot of medicine."
Nathan narrowed his eyes. This garden would be extremely useful for Vivian.
In fact, if she applied this kind of transmutation on top of her power to control plants or even summon an artificial world tree, her power would be upgraded to a whole new level.
In addition, these plants contained their respective attributes. Not only would it be useful for the creation of medicine, but it would also be good for sacrificial items.
He might even be able to apply this power to other things, such as metals. If he could really do that, he might be able to use these new items to create catalysts for everyone’s progress.
That was what he had been doing to lessen the burden on his body whenever he was helping them to evolve to god level or true god level.
If he had this technique, that would indeed be perfect.
"I think you understand what kind of opportunity is hidden in this garden, right?" She smirked. "And you should know that it’s beyond what you are currently offering."
"That’s indeed true." Nathan couldn’t help but agree. In the end, he might have to give up more. He chuckled. "You don’t exactly want me to offer something more, you know?"
"I don’t know. We will see." Catalith had a smug smile on her face, thinking she had already won.
Nathan scratched the back of his head. There were a lot of options. In the first place, there was no agreement that prevented him from giving the knowledge for the Divine Seal or the Spirit Circle.
After thinking about it, he didn’t intend to release the two of them and let the human race here be the only one that had both techniques.
Obviously, there would be some leaks soon, especially if the other races intended to get them.
But if the elves had this technique, people would be more inclined to go to the elves because of their credibility.
Hence, he made a decision.
