Chapter 1849: New Method
"So, how much ena did you get from one god level alien?" Selena asked Nathan, who had just come out of his room.
"The first one was 48 million, while the second one was 49 million."
"Oh?!" Selena raised her eyebrows. "It’s actually more than I expected."
"Yeah."
Nathan checked his status.
Name: Nathan Reckmoon
Level: 1148/???
Race: H*u%m@*an
Quality: Perfect (Mid)
Ena: 188,541,488/???
Absorption Rate: 85%

"I’ve gotten quite a lot." Nathan narrowed his eyes. "Can you call Flora for me? Bring her to the mountain. We will do it there."
"Sure. I’m sure all the girls would love to see it too."
"I don’t mind. I’m going ahead." Nathan waved his hand.
"Yeah."
Nathan first visited the mountain so that he could call his familiars.
"Okay. There is something I’d like to discuss. Right now, I have 188 million ena. I usually want to make sure that I have above 75 million ena so that I can use two-thirds of it to push one of the true gods here to return to their peak state in order to turn around the situation.
"However, the situation changes slightly. I get more ena than I originally expected. I intend to use 10 million to create the foundation for the absolute ice element in Flora’s body. That leaves me with 178 million.
"Of course, it might need more, so I’m assuming I will have about 150 million just to be on the safe side. In other words, I can use about 75 million ena to do something. I’m wondering what I should do." Nathan asked for a suggestion.
"You should push me to 50 million." Fenrir smirked. "Look, all those true gods now have 50 million ena, except for the new ones, such as me, Anubis, and Orochi. Since you’re assuming you have 150 million and want to have 75 million remaining. Just give 25 million to each of us and be done with it."
Anubis fell silent for a moment before shaking his head. "I do not think that’s a good idea. Saving some will definitely help. After all, you are going to need it to upgrade our strength again, especially those who have yet to become true gods."
Nidhogg asked, "So, why don’t you give it to us? They can be true gods, but we have more ena to unlock more of our abilities."
"I’m following your decision this time." Jinwu shook his head.
"No objection." Kun agreed.
Mae pointed to Xolotl and the other true gods. "Why don’t you ask for their opinions? There’s an option to bring them to 100 million ena right away."
"No, don’t do that." Qilin shook his head.
"I can’t really say the reason, but I can somehow agree that we shouldn’t boost them."
Xolotl explained, "While it’s tempting to return to our former state, you shouldn’t boost us, especially with your shitty luck, Summoner. If you boost us, your luck will push an even stronger enemy that will lock us. So, if you want to make us stronger, you either have to do it at the same time or do it very close to the alien world."
"Xolotl has a point. We can’t endanger this group because of our greed. We only have one chance. If we fail, we might have to reset everything." Garuda agreed.
"Why don’t we just summon a new familiar?" Ananta asked. "I mean, can we do it?"
"If you’re thinking about summoning a new familiar, why don’t you consider my husband?" Tiamat asked.
"Hmm? Summoning a new familiar? Can it be done here?" Nathan tilted his head.
"I think so. The girls, I don’t know. They are connected to the main world, so they might not be able to access the data of the main world anymore now that they have left. However, you are different. You are tied directly to the data of the divine beasts. In other words, you can summon divine beasts at any time."
"Really?" Nathan crossed his arms. Xolotl and the others actually agreed with her explanation.
Nathan had a different system, so it was normal if he could do what the others couldn’t.
"Why don’t you just create the summoning circle? Have the girls perform it first. Although I don’t like to say it, I bet they’re going to fail. You, however, are different." Tiamat nodded. "So, if you want to talk, I think my husband is a good choice.
"While it’s true that he died, he died because of a scheme. He wasn’t exactly defeated in battle. He was strong like me, but his power was much more related to life and order."
Nathan narrowed his eyes. He had three choices this time: saving the energy, pushing Fenrir and the others to 50 million ena, or summoning a new familiar.
If he were going to summon a true god, he would use 50 million ena at once.
While he was thinking about it, he noticed that Selena and the others had arrived.
"My dear!" Sera waved her hand.
When he saw them, he made his decision. "How about this? There is something I want to try. Depending on how much ena it requires, I will choose one of the three options."
"That sounds good to me." Tiamat was the first to agree. As Garuda said, she wanted her husband, but she didn’t want to cause the group’s downfall because of her greed. She had to give Nathan the optimal result so that Nathan could stay alive for as long as possible. This way, she would also be able to live with her husband for as long as possible.
Nathan turned to the girls. "By the way, Selena. I want to test something. Can you create a summoning circle? Use the summoning circle to see if you can still access the summoning system."
"Sure." Selena nodded. "We definitely haven’t tried that."
"Yeah. As for Flora..." Nathan smiled. "Well, I do have a proven method, but there is a new method that I would like to try. If this works, it might provide a better foundation for you. It may also lead directly to upgrading your lightning to the absolute lightning element. Do you want to try it?"
"I don’t mind, but I’d like to hear the method first."
"Sure. After becoming a god, I have finally unlocked the new version of Soul Contract. This is the method that becomes possible from that upgrade." Nathan smirked.
