Summoning at Random

Episode 04: Meet the Girl

"What? Wow!

Ling Ji raised his dumb voice unexpectedly to his abruptly changed vision, and at the next moment he swung and flipped forward in grandeur.

Forrest Wolf chased me through the woods until earlier, but the moment I thought I was going to be chased, the light suddenly widened in my sight.

I rolled the crap out of the momentum I was running, but eventually I stopped and leaned back on the ground.

"Come on!"

I wake up alert to Forest Wolf, who was looming from behind, and look behind me, but I don't see them anywhere.

On the contrary, until a few seconds ago, he was in a woodland full of trees, but it was a meadow, no matter how he saw it now spreading around Ling Ji.

"Duh, what's going on?

It's confusing Ling Ji, but the answer doesn't come up. But I could only understand that I painstakingly picked up my life at the moment I lost my life in danger. Just remembering my earlier fears, my spine froze and more cold sweat erupted.

Ling Ji weakened and became a big letter on the grass.

◆ ◆ ◆

Ling Ji, who remained fallen on the meadow for a while, eventually rose muckled and paid off the soil and grass that had accompanied him all over his body.

He didn't know where this place was, but I can't say enough that he's not in danger of being attacked by dangerous animals just like the forest earlier. Given that, I couldn't have fallen indefensibly forever.

"Nevertheless, where are you..."

Once again I looked around and all I could say was meadows. Since there is no such land as Ling Ji knows in this world, I would not have known if he had told me where it was, but I am only certain that it is at least a completely different place from the forest where I was until earlier.

Ling Ji, who was looking over the meadow, noticed a banded line running a little further away. Only that part of the grass that grows on the ground is broken.

"Maybe the road...?

Ling Ji proceeded to the place because he could not even imagine going.

Going nearby, not only was there no grass growing, but I could see that there were traces of grass on the ground. Apparently, as Ling Ji imagined, it's a street.

In doing so, there is likely to be a city ahead of this road stretch.

If you do poorly, you may turn back to the city you've been fleeing, but as it is, you only wait for starvation. Either way, we have to head to the city.

"Check in the distance. If it's that city, turn around and go the other way."

From what I saw of the city when I ran away, I didn't see so much of a developed world of civilization. Ling Ji has become pursued in that city, but it is likely that it has not been passed on to other cities. That's what I told him, and Ling Ji started walking down the street.

By the way, he doesn't know that city to city travel is common in this world with carriages or escorts on foot. That is naturally due to the fact that it is not surprising when demons attack you outside the city.

Naturally in the woods where people don't step in, etc., but it doesn't mean it's safe even in the streets. Nothing is different from the surrounding meadows in terms of danger, especially since fences and the like are not even provided.

Therefore, it was only natural that it should come to pass.

"Huh?"

From the meadows outside the streets, a huge shadow walking fast towards Ling Ji.

It was a pig-shaped demon about the size of a light truck, Giant Hornbore, who used sharp horns to pin down enemies by rushing.

"Hey, dude...!?

Giant Hornbore is obviously running straight for Ling Ji. Ling Ji, who is rigid in its power, managed to return it to me.

"Not again!?

Earlier was a herd of Forest Wolves, now Giant Hornbore. The escape play was to be played again.

Compared to the woods, the streets being trampled on were easy to run, and the speeds of Reiji and Giant Hornbore were almost mutually reinforcing. Conversely, they will be chased extensively because they are not fast enough to shake them off.

It may be possible to avoid it and move on to the zigzag, but moving from a runnable street to a meadow was not something that could be decided in the middle.

"Damn, how long are you coming after me!

Once Giant Hornbore sets his aim on his prey, he advances into a straight line of horns on his rhesus. That's exactly what the word "swine rush" means.

Ling Ji keeps running down the street and running, but in the meantime I realized there was a shadow of people ahead. Come to think of it, there are signs that people went through, so it's not surprising that there were others.

"Oh no... girl!?

Walking down the street was a blonde girl in black.

All I could see was hindsight from Ling Ji, but from his back length he looks younger than Ling Ji.

I was walking in front of Ling Ji with my luggage, and I didn't seem to have noticed Ling Ji or Giant Hornboa behind it yet.

"Please, run away!

"Huh?"

Ling Ji manages to scream while running to inform the girl of the danger, but the girl is unlikely to be able to move quickly only by looking back in surprise.

If Ling Ji keeps running, the girl will definitely get caught up in Giant Hornboa's rampage.

"Ku, what can I do......!?

There was no option to involve a strange girl.

Ling Ji patrolled slightly, but looked back on the spot. I've decided to bet on a glimmer of hope that my physical ability to come up to this world might stop Giant Hornbore from advancing.

"Ohhhhhhh!!!

He lowered his hips, prepared for impact, and raised his voice as Ling Ji set his palms against Giant Hornboa, concentrating and standing on his entire body.

But before Giant Hornbore made contact with Ling Ji, who was waiting, an electric shock ran from both palms of Ling Ji. The straight emitted electric shock struck Giant Hornbore.

"Huh!?

Giant Hornbore, struck by an electric shock, raised a voiceless voice and was thrown into the meadow to be bounced.

"........................... Huh?

Ling Ji is dismayed by the unexpected results. Again, check the palms, but nothing has changed.

"What the hell is that...?

It could be inferred that it is similar to the flames at the summoned festival grounds, but the cause remains unclear.

"Um..."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Er..."

A voice can be heard from behind against the troubled Ling Ji. Ling Ji looked back in haste and turned to the girl earlier, the Lord of his voice. And stay stiff.

Is the girl about sixteen or seven years old?

The limbs, wrapped in strange clothing with bright golden hair up to the waist where some of it was braided, and red prints engraved on the black floor, are soothing, but the essentials show abundant swelling. The tattoos and red eyes that knocked down the "S" lettering on his forehead beside him emit a mystical charm.

Ling Ji was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen alive. That's why I've never seen a beautiful girl so far, not even the original world model or idol.

"Oh, the..."

Ling Ji lost her words to nervousness, but the girl just leaned her neck strangely. The trick is adorable again, and Ling Ji loses even more calm.

"Ah."

"Huh?"

Ling Ji turned the same way as the girl, wondering at the girl who raised her voice like she suddenly noticed something. Then there was Giant Hornbore, who had been bounced off earlier, waking himself up. Apparently, the earlier electric shock alone was not fatal.

Giant Hornbore began to rush again toward Ling Ji and the girl, although the speed dropped considerably more because of the damage or until earlier.

"Ku, not good..."

I'm not going to be able to run out right away because I've stopped once. Plus, there's a luxurious girl next door who's not fit for the rough stuff, so you can't just leave her and run.

"You, run and run..."

"Yes."

As she blocks Ling Ji's words as she tried to encourage the girl to escape, the girl shouts a cute hanging voice when she claps her right hand. But with such a voice a huge chunk of darkness was released in his back, and he flew to Giant Hornbore at a fierce speed, swallowing.

"Huh!?

Giant Hornbore is lightly blown over ten meters and slammed to the ground. And when I stood up, I fled cursorily.
