Super Detective in the Fictional World

Chapter 2171 - Extra: Journey of Fantasy 12

Lois didn't let her guard down and took a few more steps back before looking down at the yellow striped vest that looked a little familiar.

He had appeared in the war zone a few months before, and had been involved in the operation to frame Superman, which was why he looked familiar to her.

After comparing Luke's voice to that of Bruce, it was a different person.

Moreover, she also remembered that the "Bruce" who participated in the kidnapping didn't say who he was at all, and she was the one who took the initiative to call him "Bruce".

Luke, however, could still sense her suspicion.

After all, it's normal for someone who has just been kidnapped to overreact to stress.

He merely signaled the two kidnappers on the ground, the driver and one in the car, making a total of four, "Ms. Lane, I'm sure it would be easier to kidnap you than them."

Louise's somewhat scrambled brain immediately understood.

With all four men lying in seconds, she couldn't even resist one of them, and it was indeed unlikely that Luke was acting.

Luke waved at a black commercial vehicle that had just pulled into the parking lot, explaining to Louise in passing, "These guys are Lex's guys, they'll have to stay as witnesses. The piece of information I wanted to tell you is that Lex orchestrated today's Congressional tragedy and is supposed to have planted explosives in Wallace Keefe's wheelchair."

Louise heard the news, which matched exactly the forensic results she had received from her friend, as well as her own speculations, before finally relaxing.

Whirling around, she saw the black commercial vehicle pull up beside it, and four imposing black suits got out and hauled the four kidnappers into it.

She couldn't help but be wary again.

Luke: "I'm sorry, you know rich people are easy targets, and having a few security guards with you can solve a lot of problems, like right now."

Louise: ...... Can you please stop virtually showing off your wealth? I met four kidnappers and you have four security guards. Is that a slap in the face?

Meanwhile, on a farm outside the small town of Smallville, Kansas, high-fidelity prototypes were attaching nano-inserts to Martha Kent: "Ms. Kent, if you have time, read the operations manual. If you ever meet one of these henchmen bothering you in the future, you can at least avoid them."

Martha looked at the semi-liquid covering her entire body, wondering if she had fallen into the hands of some alien creature.

The prototype didn't delay much, "Rest assured, we'll be around to protect you until this is over." He said dragging the four kidnappers who had been stunned by the paralyzing bullets up into the air and away.

That's when Martha finally said, "Thank you."

The prototype didn't respond and disappeared into the night.

......

In the Metropolitan Police Department's Major Crimes Unit, Louise sat in the supervisor's office, watching Luke, who was talking to the supervisor outside the door, with mixed emotions.

In the past, she had hated this kind of "selfish" behavior.

But now Luke prop relationship to put her here, but because of her distrust.

Suspicion is something that is hard to eliminate once it arises, even if you know it could be a misunderstanding.

So, after returning to Metropolis by private plane, Luke had placed her here.

What made Louise even more speechless was that the four black suit security guards were in the police break room not far away.

Apparently, people didn't think the Metropolis Police Department was much of a fighting force either.

By this point, it was a little embarrassing for Louise to be any more alert.

She was now free in person, free to communicate, and in the office of the Head of Major Crimes under the watchful eye of many police officers.

Luke wanted to do something to her, and it really didn't have to be that much trouble.

Finally, Clark's figure appeared in the office.

Luke took it as if he had received a call from Lois, and didn't have the intention of going up to mingle with her, but just left with his own security.

Bruce Bell had saved his girlfriend, and the Dark Knight had saved his mother, and Clark wouldn't be Superman if he didn't acknowledge that favor.

A few minutes later, Clark emerged from the police station with Lois, but his face was gloomy as hell.

At Luke's reminder, Martha called Lois and told her that someone had come to kidnap her.

Contacting Louise again about Louise also being kidnapped, who the mastermind was was a complete no-brainer.

No wonder this guy Lex had the nerve to plant the story on himself! So it was hitting on his girlfriend and his mother. Clark had never found himself so angry.

If Lois hadn't calmed him down, he would have been so angry that he would have stripped and stormed the police station to get Lex.

Of course, his anger had only endured until after he left the police station.

Giving Lois a room in a nearby hotel, Clark turned into Superman and disappeared with a whoosh.

He didn't even need to search extensively for Lex's location; Lois had just told him that Lex was inside the Kryptonian ship left behind by General Zod.

This of course was what the good man Luke had told Lois in advance.

If she was going to sell a favor, she'd sell enough.

Lex's experience points and abilities weren't worth any more than Superman's favors.

After all, there aren't too many villains with abilities here in the land of the good people, but Superman only has one.

Besides, wouldn't it be more desirable to brush up on Superman's ability list?

Even if Luke felt that Superman's list of abilities was likely to be only partially learned, it was definitely worth it.

You know, other than the kryptonite, which is sure to kill Superman, none of the attacks seem to be able to break his skin.

You could say this is the ultimate in Luke's idea of "greatness unto itself".

There may be many life forms that can fight Superman, but they are far less suited to the everyday life of human society.

So, after leaving the four security guards to rest and standby, Luke sits alone in his Porsche, watching a live surveillance feed of the wreckage of the Kryptonian ship.

As a traditional artiste, he took a stake in the security companies of Gotham and Metropolis.

Without the knowledge of the managers of these security companies, he had turned the surveillance cameras at important locations into his eyes and ears.

Being a shareholder allowed him to influence the installation of many surveillance cameras, as well as get an open and honest look at the databases and wiring.

Lex was not on his blacklist before the shade, and naturally his whereabouts would not be deliberately analyzed.

And after the Congressional tragedy, Metropolis' surveillance network had made him a prime target.

While Lex returned to Metropolis by helicopter, it is unlikely that his accompanying driver, security, and secretary were also helicopter substitutes.

Cross-locked on the correlation, Lex's whereabouts are revealed.

Everything isn't much different from Luke's plan yesterday, the only change is that the person who opened the gift bag has changed from himself to Superman.

Lying back on the seat in semi-reclining mode, he casually removed a roasted goose and munched on it with gusto.

The only pity was that while the Porsche was fancy, the interior was too small to set up a table of food to watch the show.

But the laid-back mood soon disappeared.

Alfred began sending out continuous high energy response warnings, located exactly where the wreckage of the Kryptonian ship was.

It was only an instant before Luke realized that it was probably Lex that had made the noise.
