Super Detective in the Fictional World

Chapter 2182 - Extra: Fantasy Journey 23

Master Wei is subconsciously calculating the amount of calories he will get from eating such a large amount of snacks.

The company's main business is to provide a wide range of products and services to its customers.

It's only with the recent use of Life One that Master Wei feels the fading tail of youth returning.

This health is not easy to come by, so he treasures it very much.

Diana, however, was truly amazed at the efficiency of Q's housekeeper.

There were over fifty portions of various snacks on the refreshment shelf, so neatly arranged that even a real person would not have been able to deliver them in two minutes.

Thinking like this, she couldn't help but touch Little Q's goofy monitor head: "Little Q is so capable."

Little Q [-^_^-]: "Thank you Pretty Sister for your praise."

After that, it was the official afternoon tea time.

Although Luke, the manor, was pretty much in the middle of nowhere, and the renovation was only to repair the necessary appearance, it was still in a state of disrepair today.

Gotham City's most common gloomy skies, barely visible blue grey-black sea, and an old manor house where weeds and shrubs were reborn, it was really a bit like a haunted house in a horror movie.

It was fortunate that Q was able to wipe out the crows hovering in the trees a hundred meters away, otherwise this place would have been closer to the true haunted house template.

However, his own manor, also in the middle of nowhere, was clearly used to this kind of scenery.

Diana doesn't pay any attention to the surrounding scenery, and the three of them just enjoy their afternoon tea.

When the bad guys weren't in front of him, Master Vai was still able to keep his cool, just enjoying his coffee slowly and mindfully, taking the occasional small snack and just enjoying it superficially.

Diana obviously didn't have the same trouble he did, casually taking the snacks from the refreshment rack and clearly leaning towards the top two tiers of sweet bites.

Luke, on the other hand, mainly ate the salty mouthfuls of the bottom tier, just as the men and women were divided, and the meal was not tiring.

And so, only halfway through the half-hour tea tasting time that Master Wei had expected, Luke and Diana both scavenged the snacks.

The first thing you need to do is to take a look at the newest addition to your own website.

The Wayne Group controller's identity still attracts attention, if not business, the two giants will not come together to visit.

Diana was beautifully sipping her Ceylon black tea, not opening her mouth at all.

It was a pleasant surprise to be able to enjoy an enhanced version of English afternoon tea here.

Especially here she didn't have to care about the attention of others and ate as much as she wanted.

Although in the restaurant, no one would care how much she ate, but being surprised, curious, investigative eyes to measure the ready-made "Big Eater Show", this is not very comfortable.

Master Webster put down his nearly empty cup of coffee and coughed, "It was the last time, that flying monster that blew himself up in front of us."

Luke jawed and motioned to continue.

He knew about the monster, of course, and had even guessed the monster's origin with a little from Lex's manuscript.

But he couldn't say, how else was he going to explain how he'd seen Lex's manuscript? That thing had been taken away by Master Wayne's men in the first place.

That is, just before Luke sent Lex on his way to give them a full set of shots.

Master Wayne continued, "They're getting more and more, I've taken out a dozen of them recently, and almost every night they're roaming Gotham and Metropolis."

Luke added, "I killed twenty-three of them."

Diana's hand on her cup of tea was on the floor, she'd been to Europe before to relax after the Great War.

This time, it was still because of the warnings of an attack on Paradise Island that she had returned to America to find help.

Did she seem a little too lazy compared to the hardworking Batman and Knight? The warrior goddess only thought so, and then quickly dismissed the year.

Just kidding! She's normal, not compared to a psychopath who enjoys beating up bad guys for a living.

It was a good thing the two "psychopaths" didn't care what others thought, and continued to talk: "Diana's hometown was attacked by the same monsters - led by their leader."

Luke finally sat up straight and leaned forward slightly, as if he were listening.

Master Webster: "The leader is called the Wasteland Wolf, and he tried to rule the Earth during the Age of Mythology, and once those three cubes merged, they became complete mother boxes that could change and control the entire Earth's environment."

Luke: "Just like those Kryptonian transformation ships that General Zod had?"

Master Wayne nodded, "It works differently, but the consequences for us are similar, the Earth will become its home."

Luke looked to Diana who hadn't said a word, "How's your family doing?"

Diana's face was finally not so wonderful: "The casualties were not small, and the Box of Atlantis that was kept there was taken by the Wasteland Wolves. The remaining Box of Atlantis is with the Poseidon clan, but they have retreated into the deep sea and are difficult to contact. The Human Box was secretly buried by the human ancestors and its whereabouts are unknown."

Luke leaned back in his chair again, "So, what are you going to do?"

With Master Wei's personality and controlling nature, he certainly wouldn't come to someone else with an empty mind to get ideas.

The first thing you need to know is that you have a plan, and it's no joke.

As it turned out, Master Wade enjoyed Luke's "fall-guy" and was comfortable with someone else asking the question he wanted answered as soon as he opened his mouth: "We need more war power."

Luke was surprised, "We need?"

Master Webster seemed to know what he was thinking and nodded with certainty, "Much needed, since Superman is back home."

Luke was genuinely surprised, "WHAT?"

Master Wei had been watching his expression closely and only now probably felt okay about it.

This Knight guy's intelligence network shouldn't have been spying on Superman, or else he wouldn't have been unaware that Superman had taken advantage of a business trip and gone to an alien planet.

This was what Lois had told Master Wayne herself, and it was only after he had been watching Superman that he had discovered this fishy thing.

Luke was really not checking on Superman's situation.

It was, frankly, a pretty boring act.

Superman didn't have any safety issues at all, and the enemies he needed to deal with solemnly ensured that the world would know soon enough - it would just collapse a few cities, there was no way it wouldn't be in the news.

As for his girlfriend, Lois, and his mother, Martha, Luke, who had provided two sets of nano inner armor, was earning Superman a lot of favors.

Luke is actually the one who whacked some of the top gang bosses and became a paraplegic on the spot.

Superman doesn't even want to talk to Luke.

He's too saintly to talk to the man who saved his mother (wife) for a couple of criminals.

It wasn't like anyone had died anyway.

These gang bosses had a lot of energy and immediately let their loyal men take off with them after the paraplegia.

As a result, Master Wayne didn't even notice anything unusual.

Now, he also had to take the initiative to tell Luke about the snooping information about Superman: "He said he needed to know something, so he wanted to go back for a trip, and he's been gone for over a month."

Luke scratched his head, he hadn't considered that Superman would leave Earth in this condition.
