Super Detective in the Fictional World

Chapter 2210 - Extra: Journey of Wonders51

In the end, of course, the three Luke's didn't stay to tell Meera about the other princess.

That was something Arthur needed to worry about, and it had nothing to do with a road party like them.

Besides, Luke's line certainly wasn't technically an accusation of Arthur being a slut.

Praising a woman for being strong didn't fit the profile of a glib woman either, and Meera was just playing a little flirt with Arthur.

The three Luke's just had a look at her and left in good humor.

Next, the plane takes off and heads straight for Greece, which is close at hand.

The trio collectively head to the temples to watch - especially the one main temple where the sacred fire, or beacon, had been lit only recently, is the focus of their visit.

The beacon fire here went out of its own accord the moment the barren wolf was slain, but it still burned for days in the meantime.

During this time, the news of how a temple without fuel could produce a flame that wouldn't go out was considered world-class news.

Due to the sensitivity of the location, many people actually guessed part of it - it had something to do with God.

Of course, the vast majority of people didn't think of that as a distress signal.

The days when the beacon burned, and the days after it went out, the place was blocked off by Greek authorities and offered for study by researchers sent by major European and American authorities - that was all Greece could do.

Now, after all this time, the researchers have evacuated the site with nothing to show for their efforts, and it is the turn of the tourists to "see" the miracle site.

The three Luke's mingled with the others, but there was nothing to be seen.

Victor, who should have been the most conspicuous in a hoodie and sunglasses, with the aid of an experimental version of his high-fidelity armor, was not noticed.

The three of them surrounded the temple, and the minibus didn't forget to ask Luke to take a few pictures of him.

The lad hadn't been anywhere since he was a kid, let alone traveling, and was in good spirits at the moment.

Just then, a voice sounded not far behind the three of them, "You guys are really here to travel?"

The minibus, who was looking for his next photo spot, turned his head and waved with a sudden smile, "Diana."

Diana waved very gracefully, before focusing on Luke, "I thought you said you were expecting news from me?"

Under the Aegean afternoon sun, the warrior goddess looked tall and skilful in an off-white tweed set dress.

Beneath the large, wide-brimmed hat was a charmingly handsome face, with eager red lips.

Luke shrugged, "Actually, we're here to see Arthur's little girlfriend."

Diana was surprised, "A little girlfriend?"

Bud and Victor both nodded, affirming Luke's statement.

Diana looked straight, "Well, it looks like I'm the only one who doesn't know, so I'm asking for an equal right to know."

......

The four of them found a place to chat all afternoon, and then Victor and Minibus went to the Athens airport by themselves to take Luke's special flight back to the United States, while Luke was left behind by the goddess of war.

The two single dogs can only decide that Europe is not suitable for them to live in for a long time, and they are always eating sweet dog food.

Even the War Goddess, who has always been a tough woman, will take the initiative to ask a man to come here.

Even if the man was a Dark Knight, that was excessive.

In fact, the two were completely psychological.

Diana only left Luke to take him to Paradise Island, not to go on a date as the two single dogs thought.

Technically, it's Diana's mother, Hippolyta, who Luke actually wants to "date".

The biggest obstacle to taking anything away from Paradise Island is obviously not his old war buddy Diana, but the uncaring Queen of the Amazons.

Sure, Luke was instrumental in killing the Wastelands wolves, and people can be friendly, but whether they're willing to pay real benefits for it is another matter.

A power chief was usually not emotional much, especially when it came to things like giving benefits.

Led by Diana, the two flew into the night to somewhere in the sea, where a small boat leisurely emerged.

Picking up the two, the warrior woman manning the boat turned around and disappeared into the night once more.

But in a few minutes, the small boat passed through a spatial barrier and a large, starlit island appeared in front of them.

It was night, but that had little effect on Luke's viewing.

The green trees and flowers, the alpine meadows, and the classical white marble buildings looked at first glance similar to the Parthenon that Luke had seen in the afternoon.

The boat washed right up on the beach, Diana beckoned, and Luke leapt onto the sand after her.

They walked slowly side by side before Diana spoke of the arrangements for this meeting, "You will rest well tonight, and someone will take you to a formal audience with Her Majesty in the morning."

Luke hmmmed, still taking a leisurely survey of the large island.

Diana hesitated, but still whispered a warning, "When you see the Queen tomorrow, you'll have to be careful what you say, she won't understand your "sense of humor"."

Luke smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I know, old people are a bit stubborn and dogmatic."

Diana found it hard to argue with that, but she couldn't say that her mother was a trendsetter and had moved with the times.

The somewhat depressed war goddess could only drop him off in front of a large stone villa and was about to say goodbye and leave, when she heard him say, "Is there any food? I'm hungry."

As Diana froze, Luke looked very serious and said, "It's all been out today and I haven't even eaten a third of my usual food."

Remembering someone's more horrible appetite than herself, Diana nodded understandingly, "I'll have someone send you some ...... well, send enough food over."

Luke, however, stepped out onto the porch of the stone cottage and looked up and down, "Here, it should be okay to get a barbecue, right?"

Diana: ......

Ten minutes later, Diana curled her long legs up and sat on the edge of the white marble porch, watching Luke, who was quickly processing ingredients a few meters away, a little curious, "Is this how you practice your culinary skills?"

Without pausing, Luke's hands flew to slice and dice the beef and butter into small pieces and answered honestly, "No."

Practicing on your own isn't as fast as learning directly from the ready-made goods on the ability list.

Most of the bad guys don't do anything productive, and even fewer of the good cooks are one in a million, but who let Luke take out a lot of bad guys.

Hundreds of first-, second-, and third-rate chefs combined their skills into a beginner's culinary mastery with no shortcomings, and that was a matter of a few points.

Diana waited a moment, "What's next?"

Luke was amused: "Confidential."

Diana couldn't help but relate to the scenario of this guy being imprisoned in some wild place and having to figure out how to eat food on his own, pulling off his head and eating it, so she didn't pursue the question further.

Luke didn't want to discuss such a boring topic either, so he casually asked, "What about you? After all these years, why don't you go to France and learn to cook? You can't eat much food when you're always in England, can you?"

Diana laughed dumbly, "Your English afternoon tea is not bad."

Luke trailed off, "Man, you can't live on afternoon tea alone, it can't hurt to try a little more."

Diana's eyes twinkled, "What are you implying?"

Luke made no mistake about the movement of his hands, but his head turned: "No hint, because food to me is one of my greatest passions."

Diana: "Even if this negotiation with the Queen doesn't work out?"

Luke looked into her eyes and nodded frankly, "There are some things that can't be traded."
