Super Detective in the Fictional World

Chapter 21: 021: The Old Pad Who Talks

At the same time, this is a designated partner of the police station, where the town police practise their guns.

Robert and the owner here are old acquaintances, and after wrapping up the gun practice for all the officers at the station, the price is great.

And, of course, because of that, no one from the police will come here.

Of course, the shooting store doesn't like to be targeted by the police, and Robert is too lazy to take care of whether there's anything out there that makes money.

This is Texas, where any one family has several guns, and it's not uncommon to walk down the street with guns, and the law permits it.

Seeing Selena come over, the boss is a half-large white old man in his fifties, blowing a whistle in his mouth: "Oh, here comes our big beautiful woman. ”

Selena directly compared him to the middle finger: "Old Pad, leave your bullshit to the Knox ladies. ”

The old white man shrugged: “Business is bad, I haven't had the money to go black lately. ”

And he noticed Luke behind Selena, and he laughed, "Hey, hey, look who's here. Robert's little girl, how dare you come to me? Aren't you the one who hates shooting? ”

Luke wasn't angry either, Pad, this old bastard has a very slutty mouth. He was given it to himself a long time ago and has been calling himself little girl, little girl or something ever since.

Because Luke hasn't been very interested in playing with guns, and for people like Old Pad, men who don't play with guns are all pussies.

Just a little girl named Luke, that's for everyone's sake.

He showed this old bastard the clothes on his lower body: "See what this is? ”

Old Pad whispered, "Police uniform, what's so great about it?” He comes here every day with a couple of gun-pressing cops.

Luke: “So you're asking? I didn't practice guns before, that's because I'm not interested. Now practice guns, that's for work. You're going to be a cook. Would you have liked to cook before? ”

Old Paddock, talk to me. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Work is work, but it doesn't mean people will love it.

Luke, this is Serena. Let's go to the shooting range back there.

Texas is everything, especially the range.

This out-of-town range of shooting ranges is all about fixing as much as you can.

When Luke and I passed, the shooting range seemed like nobody, but there was a sporadic gunshot.

A closer look revealed that there were at least five or six people practicing guns here, but they still felt less noisy.

Selena and I came over, and one of old Pad's guys dropped off a gun.

She's a regular customer, so long as she doesn't say so, that's definitely the old rule.

Luke? Old Pad was so heartless about this very young kid who put his mouth shut that he didn't even bother to ask him and sent him a gun just like Selena.

Of course, Old Pad took a look at Luke's belly gun before, knowing it was the most common type of gun for American police, Glock, and at least four or five of the 10 policemen used this brand.

Luke wonders, "Don't we need our own guns? ”

Selena: "Of course you can use your own gun, but didn't you come here to practice? ”

Luke: "Yeah, isn't that easier to grasp with your own gun?” Doesn't the novel always say something about the sense of shooting, fitness, etc.

Selena: "... you're not a complete rookie, don't say you really don't know anything about shooting. ”

Luke: "Oh, shoot me. I will, basically. It's just not accurate enough. ”

Selena: "Isn't that it? Don't shoot right. Accuracy is nothing more than a pile of bullets, and before you reach the limit of your own talent, you just need to shoot carefully and adapt to the feeling of shooting. ”

And Luke thought, "Oh, hands-on, right? ”

Selena: “What are you talking about? ”

Luke found himself saying a Chinese dictionary, so he changed the phrase: "In fact, as long as the foundation is in place, as long as the rest is proficient enough, the accuracy naturally goes up, right? ”

Selena nodded: "So the easiest way to improve your shooting accuracy is to have a few hundred rounds a day after work. Of course, if your hands are affordable, you can give them two or three hundred rounds. After a few months of practice, the level of marksmanship has naturally improved. ”

Luke nodded: “Got it. But why can't you use your own gun? ”

Selena turns her eyes white: “You want to go up fast, at least a few thousand rounds in a few months, even tens of thousands of rounds, and then you don't change the barrel? Changing the barrel must have had some effect on the shooting. Secondly, you're tired of changing barrels to report and re-file? ”

Luke suddenly said, "So that's it. ”

Selena picked up the delivered gun and started checking it out herself, saying, “So most of the guns I came here to practice with are theirs. I just need to get acquainted with them a few rounds every few days. That's probably enough for me to change the barrel at most once before I retire. ”

Luke: "... can I say you're smart? ”

Selena glanced at him skeptically: "I always thought you were yelling at me. ”

Luke: “Huh. ”

Next, they practiced seven or eight meters apart.

But Selena's moving fast.

She has been a policeman for five years, and from the age of 19 to the age of 24, her shooting skills have reached the limit of her talents, and if she scores 100 out of 100, her shooting skills are now at least ninety.

So all she needs to do is play a magazine or two every few days and keep her hands on it.

In less than ten minutes, she finished two magazines, dropped her gun, quit the magazine, and went to see Luke's training.

After watching for a moment, she had to start making noise corrections.

Luke did learn guns, and he learned them from a veteran named Robert, who was solid and well-regulated.

But he didn't really have much time to play with guns, and he was very interested at first, but the reality wasn't that it was a shootout film. After a few days of shooting at targets, he was bored and rarely played again.

So he's like a guy who's only been to driving school, who's been through traffic regulations, and he's still got a lot of problems driving.

Many of the movements and methods of his shooting had minor problems, and he could not find them without correcting them.

Selena, it's just a little bit of a fix for him.

And Luke's mentality is different now.

He used to listen to Robert. He was playing with guns.

Now he listens to Selena, that's for work.

Seriously, the benefits to be accepted cannot be said the same day.

Selena, of course, is not as good at shooting as Robert, or at least one grade worse, but she comes from an authentic police station, so many of her practices are based on the profession of police, which makes a big difference in the use of guns.
